In fact all trading the last week has been pretty quiet.

Do you mean trading in POT or in altcoins alltogether?

Too quiet for more than a year. Roll Eyes
Last time I saw Potcoin it was Dennis Rodman endorsements to North Korea. What happened since then?

The price went up real fast and back down again almost just as fast. Not all publicity is good publicity. I'm still a believer but now dope is working on an exchange, pot should develop further too. It's not enough anymore to just be a coin.

Potcoin prices will return to normal within a few weeks.

PotCoin Goes Global With ATM Provider General Bytes

Once again, the dev team continues to bring forth new methods for acquiring and redeeming PotCoin in a way that will prove extremely valuable to the ecosystem. We’re very excited to announce that this initiative is now complete and has already begun implementation.

Thanks to the help of the development team at PotWallet and General Bytes, the world’s second biggest Bitcoin ATM provider, PotCoin can now be integrated and accepted at close to 800 locations worldwide, with an estimated 1300 by the end of 2017! General Bytes only supports a handful of currencies, now yours truly will be at ATMs in over 35 different countries.

This will make it even easier for dispensaries and cannabis vendors to accept PotCoin. Customers who don’t know how to access the channels like (cryptocurrency) exchanges, now have a simple way to get their hands on PotCoin thanks to General Bytes’ growing network of ATMs. What’s more, dispensaries looking to accept PotCoin in their stores, without the need for software integration, setup, etc. have access to GB’s point of sale terminals.

A complete map of all the ATM locations can be seen by clicking HERE, and if you know of a place in your area with a General Bytes machine, feel free to encourage them to add PotCoin to their interface. All the ATM owners are being notified by email to add PotCoin and both teams are working hard on other initiatives that could benefit the industry… but more on that later!

This is an important step in PotCoin’s roadmap to expand globally and serve the cannabis industry, both consumers and vendors alike. By being available at close to 800 locations across 35 countries, mass adoption, use and redemption of PotCoin becomes that much easier. Between the relentless dedication of the ground team, forging relationships and strategic partnerships, and the development team's commitment to advancements for PotCoin, the community can look forward to the beginning of an exciting trajectory for 2017 and events that will amplify in 2018.

Direct from the Hackers Congress in Prague, there was a major teaser of this important milestone for PotCoin.

but i see the price is go down :/

35 countries in Africa and a few in Amsterdam?

Is Dennis Rodman still smoking this stuff?

Someone has been spreading fake news regarding a promotional campaign with Snoop Dogg tomorrow and has been spreading it on 4chan and twitter.
This is false and misleading, do not fall for it.

How i can create potcoin ?

Pool miner ?

Faucet ?

The best way is to buy some Potcoin on an exchange and send them to your local wallet. Then let the coins you bought stake and new coins will arrive on a somewhat regular schedule. You need potcoin to create Potcoin. The more you have, the more you create or stake.
You can download the Potocin wallet on Potcoin.com

I have installed the wallet on Ubuntu but it doesn't give me an option to unlock the wallet and stake, can POTcoin be staked in Linux?

I do not run a potwallet myself but, you certainly should be able to on any operating system you get the software functioning on.

If pot does not give you an easier option to unlock, you should be able to via the file menu (File > Unlock).

If that option does not exist either, you certainly should be able to via a RPC command from the debug console. The debug console can be found in the help menu of the menu bar (Help > Debug console. Then 'Debug' tab). Enter 'walletpassphrase P0TpAsswOrdHere 9999' into the debug console. The '9999' is a timer in minutes to remain unlocked.

I hope this info helps! Best of luck!

The problem is the "File Edit View Help" menu doesn't even show up.

I figure out a way around it by just sending myself some coins to unlock the wallet.

I'm beginning to understand what is meant by "Pretty quiet here". There hasn't been a post in days. Is the community dead or are we all taking a break at the same time?
Is there still a roadmap for Potcoin?
