Two years is a very long time for crypto currency, especially for altcoins. I would not risk buying this coin, even though it looks attractive now. It seems to me that coins from TOP-20 are suitable for long-term investments.

For two years I definitely think it worthwhile to invest and waiting for Stellar, I think it will reach at least $ 5 after so much time. At least this is my point of view.
Holding coins is very effective strategy while the market value is decreasing because your lossing your own capital when you sell your bitcoin in very low price. For now market is not yet stable it's better to stay hold at this time.

Hold is maybe good, but is not always the best decision. Dont let them keep you buy at lower price while they hit the next lower price. Sometimes, cutloss is a good decision.
Be careful what you hodl as some coins go down and never recover. Let's take this season for example : if this bear market continues till third quarter, most coins that have gone up so high will go back to either their ICO or even below ICO price thereby making you lose out. While hodling, take profits at intervals.

If you think that your coins is worth it to hold and then go for it.Because when time comes that the price will rise and thats the main reason that the power of hold is worth it.
Market is not stable now so. It will be better to stay cool at this time. Market will develop soon. So my suggestion to you, have some trand analysis and gather technical knowledge that will help you to choose the better alternative.
To hold a particular coin you must be sure first whether the coin is appropriate or not to hold in a long time,Do not forget to see the development of the coin in the market,You do not think about saving coins for a long time, if the market is good to sell right away
NEO and ripple. You may be confused because everyone suggests different things. Maybe you need to analyze one by one in order to know which coins that could potentially do for a period of two years. because of course will certainly get great results if you can mod is at least two years.
I would go for long neo and i wont tell you why,you need to know it yourself so that you wont regret what will happen if the market goes down again because i believe this coin very undervalued as of the moment ! it has a lot of potential and it could replace ethereum's platform in the near future that is why i invested too much with NEO,but you need to do your own research!
I'm not sure that such long period holding will be profitable now. Markets are bleeding and nobody knows how it will be in a 2 years. It can go to the moon or crypto can die. I think you should hodl for a several month or less, but it's up to you.
It depends on the holder. I choose to hold because I have a full time job that offers and provides my family's basic needs for entire month so I have no problem with holding.
unlike my friends, they are quitting their jobs and turn into crypto earning through joining bounty campaigns and day trading.
But now, I am holding higher crypto asset value than them because they are selling their altcoins too early and sometimes out of panic than I do.
I could hold my Crypto Assets even for a couple of years as I like...
The subject is kind of misleading though as I do not align with the though of Holding coins even when they are dumping. Why would anyone who is sensible keep holding coins when he can sell them and 2x or 3x number of same tokens when the prices has dropped significantly. I understand that this income is less than successful investments in ICO. But a bird in hand is better than a crane in the sky. I'm always very wary of risky investments.
short-term and long-term are the same when it comes into profits because Crypto market is somehow different from investing into jewelries, lands and other revenue generating investments.
Crypto market will offer higher profits depending on time, unlike gold and lands that keep on increasing it's market value on fix basis but the good thing is they're not risky and surely you're getting profits over time.
unlike crypto market, that is too risky but if you're lucky then you'll be an instant millionaire.

Do not rely to other's opinion because different people has different point of views,doing a lot of research will save your ass from getting rekt because if someone has given you a shitcoin and you believed it will give you much profits in the future you are only wasting your time and it could be the reason why you will lose a lot of money at the end.

You can check the list on coinmarketcap.com. Check the different tokens available. Get the most promising one by reading their whitepaper and check if it has a potential to increase in value when the bears are already gone. Right now, the bulls are away so the bears play. It's a good time to invest while the bulls are not here.
