Nice project. Can't wait for several month, hope to buy Doubloon(XDB) the next week.

Is there any schedule for Doubloon(XDB) ? Need some network test? I can help to test network. By the way, I am a software engineer, with ten years experiences of SW dev.

HODL! If it isn't a grudge...
When can we go online?
I think we are all still patiently waiting for the dev's to post some news on that.

here is the best place I imagine. also their chat is active.
I have been logging to check on status. first quarter is a whole 3 month period maybe sooner.

I was thinking this would be the best place too. I wonder, however, where we might buy this? Perhaps Kucoin?

@b4h4mu7 I'll translate it to Portuguese Brazil, because are so many confusion about it, and seems the people don't read or don't understand it Yet!

Thanks for the translation! PM your BBR address and I'll send you coin for your efforts.

Please please kept Wild Keccak as the algo. z-cash algo sucks big time. Cryptonote Devolved

Hi tbearhere,

Thank you for your valued feedback! Itsuku is not the Zcash algorithm, that would be Equihash. Itusku is loosely based on the "MTP-Argon2" design from the authors of the Zcash algorithm, Equihash. I hope this helps clear up any confusion there. For more information on the algorithm please visit the publication https://eprint.iacr.org/2017/1168
@ b4h4mu7  Nice..I read about the hashing algo and now they most definitely have my attention. Smiley

This sounds interesting!

Will itsuku be possible to mine with a CPU?

Yes, Itsuku seems to be CPU/GPU oriented

Finding schemes for which ASIC or FPGA hardware implementations do not show an undue advantage over CPU or GPU software implementations is key to avoid the kind of mining power concentration that has occurred with Bitcoin.

Here is the whitepaper, expected CPU/GPU performances are on page nr.15

I know you guys may have already answered this, but from what I am understanding, Doubloon is not going to be air dropped and instead will be a standalone currency alongside BBR? I keep reading posts that say that the hardfork was cancelled and that Doubloon will be released as a standalone in Q1 2018 for mining and buying. Also, where is the best place to be first in the know when we can start buying and mining?

Project looks pretty ambitious. Hopefully I don't miss the launch.
Looking forward to testing the new algo for mining.
Good luck devs.

Any word on the development of Doubloon and when the mining will start taking place? When do you think this coin will launch?

Hope to release the roadmap of Doubloon.

Greetings everyone,

We will no longer be hardforking Boolberry. We will be fairly launching as a separate currency with a small pre-mine for research, development and marketing along with a small mining tax to support on going project related endeavors.

We will also be pivoting to a new zero knowledge system developed by our researchers. This new system will require us to forgo ring signatures and stealth addresses. Since we won't be using our ShortRingCCT research, we're planning on migrating that it into Boolberry, so if you're interested in that head over to the BBR thread and join the community.

BBR Thread:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bbr-boolberry-privacy-and-security-guaranteed-since-2014-577267

Itsuku will be reserved for Doubloon along with our new zero knowledge system and our i2pd integration.

Sorry for all the confusion here but this was a recent development in the project direction and we decided it was best to bring our prior work on ShortRingCCT to make Boolberry a stronger competitor in the privacy vertical now that the original developer is back on the project full time. I've updated the ANN to reflect the pivot in direction for the project.

We believe this is the best direction for our project's integrity as all coins will be mined through Itsuku rather than generated through a hardfork.

Thanks all!

Any word on the development of Doubloon and when the mining will start taking place? When do you think this coin will launch?
