Yes Cryptonote or Cryptonight algo ..would be excellent. Even Crypto-light.

I've been mining for 5 years.... to get the efficiency of my cards on that NEW algo will cost me all my mining equipment!
I will never get the efficiency as I get on wildkeccak.
Change the logo... name... ticker.. but not the algo.

I do appreciate your feedback! I would only request that you reserve your judgement on the new algo after you've tested it. We've spent a tremendous amount of time on it so it doesn't make sense to dismiss it before its in public testing phase.

Also, if you can please keep Doubloon related feedback in this thread so we don't clutter up the Boolberry thread.

Thank you for your valued feedback! Itsuku is not the Zcash algorithm, that would be Equihash. Itusku is loosely based on the "MTP-Argon2" design from the authors of the Zcash algorithm, Equihash. Hi everyone,

To clear up any confusion here about Doubloon and it's current path for launch:

Doubloon is a planned hardfork upgrade of Boolberry scheduled for a Q1 2018 release. When the Doubloon network is launched it will continue in a separate direction from the Boolberry network but you will have both coins BBR and XDB if you hold BBR prior to the event. If the original developer of BBR ever decides to come back to work there, then your BBR will be an added bonus. This concept will work in the same manner as the Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash split.

This is a PRE-ANN to inform the general community about our efforts here and how to participate in the upcoming event. After successful public testing of the mining algorithm we will have a clear picture of when exactly this event will happen. Deadlines in software development can only be achieved with thorough testing. This PRE-ANN is here to inform you of our work here and how to get involved with testing cycles as well as prevent confusion between the upcoming launch of Doubloon and the current Boolberry network.

We planned this project 7 months ago as an upgrade for Boolberry codebase because it didn't have any active development from the original author. Instead of focusing on fixing one area of the project we decided to overhaul the entire system. There is some chance the original author, Cryptozoidberg, may come back to work on BBR but due to overwhelming support from the Boolberry community for us to stick with our fork plans we will continue down the original path instead of launching this as a new currency.

That said, for those that would like to participate in this event they may acquire Boolberry through either mining or trading on an exchange that supports Boolberry. At the moment, stocks.exchange is the only exchange that supports Boolberry. Kucoin.com and Cryptochangex.com are in the process of adding BBR pairings and we are in talks with a few more about adding listings.

For those that are unaware, Boolberry was delisted from Poloniex and Boolberry without explanation earlier this year. We are only now recovering with exchange listings and active trading.

will there be a test network? On which exchanges are you going to exit? as I understand there will be 3 exchanges: stocks.exchange, kucoin,  Cryptochangex.com
and there are a couple of things that would be great:
1) Carry out a test for the most popular GPUs and give an approximate hasht in the cap
2) Make a calculator (after entering the stock exchanges), a calculator that takes into account the current capacity of the network, as it is implemented on Boolberry pools.

Nice project. Ready to pour in some hash power.

Not a bot, unsure whether to purchase Boolberry to exchange for Doubloon but it doesn't look like there will be any swap. Ok, i guess ICO is out of the question?
