Actually Manchester City dropped a little of form since the beginning of the season, but has maintained a fair performance, however have always find their way on the Leaderboard, that's one very unique thing I love about City, for couple of seasons now ,they don't slip way down much below the top four in the table regardless of their form at any given time. The scores today wasn't much but ended up taking 3 points home.

I'm also quite sorry that I canceled my intention to bet on Nottingham, because previously I also predicted that Nottingham might win. Because anyway, so far this season that Nottingham has been one of the best away teams in the Premier League because it still has an unbeaten result on the road. But yes, because I thought that Nottingham might fall too or not be able to be consistent, then I did not bet on Nottingham and the result that happened in this match was enough to make me regret it too. But it's true that Nottingham had very good goal attempts and shots on target despite playing away.

Having such good goal attempts and shots on target will certainly give the team more chances to win, rather than just having ball possession. After all, prioritizing ball possession also usually only good to teams that basically have great dominance in the league. But, for mediocre teams if they want to win, then there is no need to create high ball possession, because it only creates a deadlock in scoring goals.

The EPL is a tough one for these clubs to handled, don't you think?Manchester City are ontop of the EPL table and there's all proof to see them winning the league title again this season. Manchester City have dominated the entire league with their elite performances and stats, although they will surely encounter top competitive oppositions this season and when I mean top competitive oppositions, they're Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa. The top four race is already been geared on and watch the best from these clubs. Manchester City was able to grab three points from Southampton at Etihad stadium today, it was really a good hit for the Citizens today. Pep Guardiola examined his game strategy and he's going all in with his team and confidence present.

I believe Unai Emery could actually make this team a title winner, because Pep is leaving and City could gradually get worse, so all Villa has to do is keep getting better, if they can keep growing and getting better then I am sure eventually they are going to get better and have some good results, hopefully it wouldn't be too bad and could do fine.

I don't think they need to push themselves thus far to finish top 4, as they're playing like the underdog it's better if they can't a win, then they geat a draw, no too much pressure and eyes on them, though we can't ignore the fact that they are slowly getting more recognition and this will even continue.

Also the top 4 spot is a hard one from the fact that Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are likely going to get the top 3 spot while the likes of every other teams, notably Aston Villa, has to fight for the last spot, which so much difficult, though I can't ignore the fact that something might just happen and team I mentioned above, one or two may not even make it to top 4 but as it's going they more likely will.

The weird thing about Chris Wood is that the guy is one the rise despite beings 32 years old. In 22/23 he scored 4 goals in 29 games. In season 23/24 he scored 15 goals in 35 games and now he is standing at 7 goals in 9 games, which by the way is far above his career average. That's about one goal in three games. But I believe you are right that if he keeps playing that and stays healthy, I can imagine that he will a role for a big club similar to what Joselu played for Real Madrid. So yes, he might be having a few great years ahead of him if he can keep up this performance and efficiency. But he would be willing to take a seat on the bench as I don't think a top club would get him as a first option. I might be wrong though and Joselu got his games eventually as he quickly got into the spotlight. Could be the same for Chris Wood.

I will have to agree with you that both London clubs will win but i am a bit worried about the Arsenal game instead. Although they have the best defense in the league since the start of last season. They have since the last three matches been allowing sloppy and have conceded unnecessary goals with Saliba out for the fixture and The red hot Sallah in high form this season again it will be hard for Gabriel to contain him without his partner helping out. I would have said that Caligfori would have been the better option for the central defense position but he twisted his knee and could potentially be out which would mean a pairing of Timber and Gabriel, two of which aren’t as calm on the ball as Saliba and could put pressure on the team.

Chelsea vs Newcastle is a game I am optimistic that Chelsea will easily win. Newcastle might have managed to take points off clubs like Manchester City this season but they are definitely having u goal scoring problems at the moment and against this red hot form Chelsea I believe they will get duck goals in this match
