It was like a rehearsal for Manchester City and Chelsea before they come face-to-face on the 1st week of the season.  Grin  Manchester City looked really decent with that 4-2 win.

City deserved this win even when they played with many young players. Chelsea showed a horrendous performance in this game. Also, i see no significant improvements that happened to Chelsea. Their gameplay is still awful to watch. They face many young players of Manchester City.

The statistic told how awful Chelsea's performance was against the young squad of Manchester City. It's a dream to see Chelsea compete for the 5 top5.
I have the same thoughts as you and am a little worried about Chelsea's performance even though it was just a training session but there were main players who performed a little badly and this is what worries me if Chelsea ultimately doesn't have any improvement.
From these statistics, Chelsea actually doesn't look that bad but the attacking players don't have a big mentality like Haaland did to break through Chelsea's defense.

This time we can only hope that at least Enzo Maresca knows his club's weaknesses and can make changes to be a little stronger in the attack line.
I don't take those games as just training or friendly Matches. If a team didn't do well in the friendly match, that can also give confidence to other clubs that they will win them in the main season games. But if the team did well then there will be that fear. Chelsea has been a team for other clubs to win without stressed but I thought in this transfer season, they would take in some skillful players like Victor Osimhen who will have helped the team with Cole Palmer but it seems they are not... Chelsea performance has been poor for a very long time. And if not was Cole Palmer that revived the club last season. Chelsea would have been on the low key. But we don't have to criticize them for now because of their present performance. Let's wait and see the seasonal games.

Just when I thought Erling Haaland might not continue with his very impressive goal scoring form come next season, he scored a hattrick in Manchester City's preseason friendly game against Chelsea a fortnight ago. It wasn't about the three goals he scored in that game that caught my attention but how he showed determination and  hunger to score the goals. If Haaland plays next season with such mentality, it'll be almost impossible for defenders to stop him. Manchester City under Pep Guardiola I think are very likely to retain the English Premier League title next season
It's not how many goals he scores in friendlies, but he can still put himself in good positions to score goals. He must be able to hone his sharpness before the season starts, his goal productivity is very much needed by Manchester City who will face increasingly competitive competition in the EPL. He must also be able to maintain his performance in the Champions League, Manchester City who were defeated by Real Madrid in a penalty shootout last season must be able to rise and win the UCL trophy again.

He must be able to maintain his position in the main line-up so that the coach does not choose another player to replace his position, the competition in a team like Manchester City is very tight, when a player who has been given regular playing time is unable to maintain his performance, then another player will be ready to replace his position because in a big team like Manchester City the quality of the main players and the reserve players is not much different.
a striker must have a sharp instinct to score goals and it's not just from the game, but he must be able to find a good position, make quick and precise decisions, and much more. Erling Haaland is a striker who has the skills needed, in terms of posture he is tall for high ball duels, in terms of speed he has good speed, he can use his head well, his feet also work very well, so that's perfect.

But still not only he who has to perform well, because he also needs a good supply of balls from his teammates, especially since he is a player with a target type on the front line or only moves in the penalty box area. Last season he also had a decline in performance and had difficulty scoring goals after Kevin De Bruyne was injured. This is an example of a situation where he also has to get a good supply of balls from other players.

Haaland is a striker who has an instinct for scoring goals and also often has good placement when receiving passes from his teammates, Haaland superiority in scoring goals is no doubt both in official matches and friendly matches so far, Haaland has been an important pillar who helped Manchester City win the championship trophy, and Haalaand greatness has often been a very frightening specter for the teams that have been their opponents, but if we look at Haalaand, he has a weakness in breaking away from the opposing defenders who have often guarded him closel,  In fact, his performance has often disappeared when Manchester City faced big teams so far, so he must be able to improve his performance again next season and focus more on improving his technique in avoiding every tight guard from defenders who tend to be stronger than him when fighting physically.

Lol, Chelsea will end up like Manchester United, a team that get controlled by fans and never trust a process, all they want is coach must able to make the team to win Premier League and Champions League in his first season.

Anyway why the fans asked Todd Boehly to message Lampard? Lampard is a failed coach.

You understand how Chelsea team is, Chelsea is a team that even the fans control and when the fans control a team there will never be progress, I have been looking at Chelsea for the past 3 years now, and all they do is sack coach up and down, they sacked coaches because the coach fails to win them a trophy, let be honest with each other, it is not easy to coach a team and when a coach is being brought to the team a team needs to trust the coach and let him do his job but Chelsea doesn’t know that, any coach that fails in a season is going to be sacked and those people who said that are the fans.

The Chelsea owners need to know how to control their team, they should not allow the fans to let the team turn into something else, I know that fans have the right to talk when a team is not performing well but sacking coaches anyhow when the fans are complaining is not good, Diego Simeone failed to win a trophy for Atletico Madrid but the club trusts him that is why they are always happy with him even when the team doesn’t win any trophy in a season, Chelsea needs to learn a lot because at the end no one will want to coach the team again.

I do not understand first of all why they have changed the management, or the manager I should say.  because he was bringing in Really good results towards the end of the season and I thought they should give him another chance.  that's what we call “trusting the process”.  but it seems like Chelsea is never patient about the results and that's why they are making so many changes so quickly.

if you make so many changes so quickly,  obviously you are not going to see a concession result.  because the tactics are not consistent and the players are also not consistently playing under the same coach as well. it takes Time for a course to succeed with a certain club. And Chelsea is changing their coaches like they are changing the pages of a calendar.  if you don't give enough time to a coach,  you are not going to get good results out of him.  and I do not understand why a club listens to the fans.  whenever you actually start listening to the fans,  it is a recipe for disaster.  and it also shows that you do not have good enough skills to be the authority of a club like Chelsea

This! yep, Manutd must dump a lot of their players if they really want to get better, Ten Hag will also definitely agrees and now the decision is up to Ratcliffe.
And I believe he will improve everything at Manutd and I hope he will get rid of high paid players with minimal contribution.
Manutd will be better in the next season and will probably dominate the PL again in the next 2-3 years.

Jim Radcliffe has nothing to do now, it up to the sporting directors in charge now who joined Manchester United from Southampton, Newcastle United and Manchester City.
That's what I have been saying for the past few weeks, all of these players with high payrolls who offers nothing but less for the club should either receive a reduced pay or leave the club immediately. Players that fall under this are;

Casemiro currently declining already, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Scott MC Tominay, Sancho in my own opinion and lastly Antony. I expect them to qualify for the Champions League Competition next season but winning the Premier League Competition is not something I see them doing.

I will love to see what decision Julian Alvarez finally takes after returning from the Olympics. It's either he moves of becomes a second striker yet again behind Erling Haaland, nothing will change.

Erling Haaland is indeed a goal-hungry striker, it has been seen since he was at Borussia Dortmund and it is fitting for a striker to do all that because it is part of his job, he is lucky to be at Manchester City which further hones his abilities, equipped with players who are equal and make Haaland's appearance even more prominent, he is also assisted by teammates such as Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne to create opportunities so if Manchester City once again wins the Premier League title, it is no wonder that the club still deserves it because it has the best squad in it and also a great coach unless Man City loses Pep Guardiola and Halaand at the same time, then Man City will have difficulty winning the EPL title.

I'll give him that there of course. But he still looks sharp after this performance. The thing I hope to see him fixing the most is his performance in big matches. I mean against top teams.

Because we can see him turning into a ghost in such matches many times...

It's too early to say Haaland is ready for this season. He only fought against a club full of kids. Haaland's comment suggests that City must rotate him with Alvarez regularly. Haaland may not perform so well against a stronger team than Chelsea.
The problem is that Haaland lacks the dynamic to escape defenders when City faces a top club.

Yes, Haaland played a nice game, and he deserves all it takes because his extraordinary strength is just making me believe that he will do more for Manchester City this season than next season, but still, when he meets up with other bigger teams, I expect to see more than this because this season is filled with challenges for many teams because we have higher expectations on them because when we have a team like Arsenal that wants to get into the Premier League trouble with everything they can do, we just have to wait and see the outcome of every team in this season.
Pep Guardiola signed potentials for his side, he will easily overcome his hurdles in the upcoming season. Erling Haaland have the formidable abilities as a top striker, he was there to score the necessary goals. Manchester City thrashed the Blues 4-2 which was considered nothing but a friendly game for both clubs. As for the new Blues boss, Enzo Maresca, he does deserves more time to be with his new squad and taking out proper time to make the necessary runs for the club.

Guardiola has managed to strengthen the Manchester City squad well. Guardiola has scouted the best players to bolster his squad. And every player is very important for his squad. Since Guardiola doesn't change much within his squad, we see good performances from Manchester City players every season.

Haaland is there to bolster City's attack. Also Gralis and FOden are very talented. There are talented players like Alvarez as substitutes. Moreover, the midfield has talented and experienced players like Silva, De Bruyne and Rodri. City's squad is very strong this season as in previous seasons. The most deserving team for the Premier League title is Manchester City.

Manchester City youngsters have performed well in every friendly match. Won 4-2 against Chelsea. Besides, despite not winning in the past friendly matches, Manchester City's young players have performed well.

This was a match where everything went perfectly for City. A reserve team of the reigning English champions continued to crush Chelsea, a team with almost all of their best players. It was definitely a practice session for the defending champions, as they still have many stars yet to take to the field. In today's match, Enzo Maresca may have underestimated Erling Haaland. Chelsea's defenders had a bad match when they continuously made mistakes, causing "The Blues" to concede goals.

Erling Haaland's brilliant performance helped Man City enjoy their first victory on their tour of the US. If he continues to maintain his current form, Erling Haaland will certainly continue to play a leading role in leading the Etihad team's attack next season. But Erling Haaland doesn't want to be a ghost in big games. He needs to be more technical. Because of those big matches, the opponents understood him too well, they would always lock him down and not give him any chance to shine.
However, with the praise, I have concerns that Guardiola should not continue to use Haaland in preseason matches. This concern arose when seeing several players from other teams who were injured while playing in friendly matches and I am worried that it happened to Haaland.
Man City victory yesterday was predictable because after the formation was displayed, we could see that Man City chances of winning were very high and Haaland performance was still the same as usual with his skill in scoring. Although this is not a serious match, Enzo Maresca certainly feels tense and wants to fix some mistakes in his strategy to get satisfactory results in the season that will soon begin.

Haaland continues to provide the extraordinary sensation he showed when he scored three goals against Chelsea. He looks quite ambitious and that is his character on the field where when he controls the ball he wants to keep scoring goals. I also think that Haaland is still very much the favorite to be the top scorer this season, especially since he has shown his concentration in maintaining his quality.

For Chelsea, they have not succeeded in getting anything from the changes made by management, meaning their game is not good enough under their new coach.
With their poor performance, I think this season will be quite difficult for Chelsea to achieve their big target, namely qualifying for the Champions League.

How do I explain to you that Manchester United cannot improve with the likes of Aaron Wan Bisakka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Scott MC Tominay, Casemiro declining and Antony. No good will come out of these players honestly. Last night was a good show that Casemiro is finished.  Top player but tj y should be preparing for his exit.
Well, honestly speaking Manchester United needs to do a lot if they want the team to elevate again and go back to being one of the top teams in the league. A lot of reshuffling needs to be done, lots of players needs to be sold or released and new players should be brought in but the major problem is that the coach doesn’t seem to be in charge, he doesn’t even know what players he needs and the ones he doesn’t. Players you mentioned above are all players that won’t get the team anywhere, Casemiro should be in the Saudi League or China league by now, they need two solid center backs to replace Maguire and a backup for Martinez since he is injury prone, Mc Tominay is the type that deceives coaches with their work rate and doesn’t contribute much to the team, Antony already as we all know is a flop and many more players needs to be replaced but I think they should firstly start with bringing in a new coach.

I think running a marathon will be difficult for him because of his physical characteristics. He can be a mid-distance runner. He's 1.94 meters tall and weighs 88 kilos. He is a good sportsman. He is a good athlete. But I think these physical characteristics would tire him in a long schedule of matches. I liked his performance against Chelsea. He'll start the season well. There's no doubt about that. But I liked the performance of the young footballer Bobb more. Pep Guardiola should give him more chances. He should give him a chance in the first 11 in some matches in the new season. He is 21 years old but he put in a very impressive performance against Chelsea.

Liverpool was cooking Manchester United. And I'm feeling very optimistic if we're gonna enter the title race against City and Arsenal soon. I can't really understand why people are pushing off Liverpool to sign a new player ASAP. In fact, they don't need to sign a new player.

Our new Slotball system is amazing. It holds the ball to draw in attackers, then tries to play out from the back.. It's also gone very smoothly. And Slotball is the thing that I have ever dreamed off. Im sure we're gonna cook any big clubs in the EPL soon.

Of course we won against Betis, Arsenal and Man Utd using "Slotball" as you put it. While it made me happy that we won those games even if they were not competitive; The matter of concern however, is the amount of balls we are giving away in our half and very close to our post. For instance, Konate was under pressure a number of times yesterday and he gave the ball very easily on those occasions if not for the interventions of Kelleher and Jaros for those saves, Liverpool would have taken in more than 3 goals.

Slotball would work only if our attackers score as much goals as possible from those breakout counters otherwise, we'd just keep conceding more than we score.

With what was played in that match, Chelsea are no fit to oppose Manchester City, yes the coach is still working on the team performance  but a lot of unpreparedness coming from the players, we saw the mistakes at critical points(defence line) and mostly lack of communication between themselves. With Chelsea's performance as of yesterday, facing Mancity when the time comes becomes relatively a high risk and off benefits except they improve far from lately.

Haaland did well in the match but nothing special or different than usual on how he scores, most of the goals were out of mistakes coming from Chelsea's defender, aside that no better build up to accompany his goals. If Chelsea should get better before they meet, then he has less than no possibility of even making a brace talk further of a hatrick.
