It is reported that this week Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the club management will conduct a thorough evaluation of Ten Hag performance in the last two seasons and Fabrizio Romano confirmed that a decision on Ten Hag future at Manchester United will come out next week, so I think at the moment the fans are in a state of alarm if indeed maybe Ten Hag will stay at Manchester United, Because indeed the majority of Manchester United fans today do want Ten Hag to be sacked and they want a new coach who is able to lift Manchester United performance next season.
Even though they managed to win the FA Cup, the club management's decision to carry out an evaluation was the right decision. Club management needs to evaluate Ten Hag's overall performance in one or two full seasons. This can enable them to make wise decisions. Just because he won the FA Cup doesn't mean Ten Hag should be retained. But some fans have grown to like Ten Hag and hope the club keeps him for next season. Some other fans think Ten Hag should be sacked because United's current performance is not the Manchester United they want to see.
Manchester United is currently not only the coach that needs to be evaluated, but also the players. It seems that players also show a selfish attitude in every match. All players want to be the straiker, and hope he is the one who scores the goals. They should not work in their position. Maybe Ten Hag is not able to manage these players at this time so there needs to be an evaluation or rotation of coaches for next season.

Then be patient for the club caused by it takes time to rebuild it from scratch again. Ten Hag intends to overhaul his roster whenever INEOS grants him another extension to lead the club and this announcement may be released by INEOS as soon as they have done evaluating the result from the current season. What the hell do you mean, all players want to be strikers? What a non sense thing is this?  Some players are selfish enough when they come close to the penalty box, but your post is completely unconnected. It's caused by you said all players wanna be strikers and who the heck it is?

What the hell are you saying? All players want to be strikers? Did you understand football? They are playing in their designated spots since early to the end of season. Stop joking, guy. What a hilarious post. The FA Cup has shown that he is still at least useful to the team by giving a trophy to the manchester united, ten hag proven he is worthy enough to still become the man for the job. Do you watch it?

That will only happen after Guardiola leaves Mancity and the Arsenal owner gives Arteta the freedom and enough funds to be able to buy the players he wants.
Arsenal is known to be quite stingy in the transfer market, just like Liverpool.
I think Newcastle and Chelsea with their money power, maybe will be able to compete and overtake Mancity dominance in the next few years.
Guardiola with financial backing is a cheat code for a league, only Klopp has stopped him just in one season. The financial backing makes Guardiola a lot easier to prepare the plan for each season, because he can get any player he want to settle in his tactical plans, while other managers have to wait what type of players their clubs can get to prepare the plan for the season. Guardiola himself is also a 'pull' for any player to come to his team, it's rare for players to reject the opportunity play under Guardiola while they can also get the highest possible wage.will

Arteta needs to stop wasting their budget on players who can't improve his team. Some signings like Ramsdale, Jesus, and Havertz are proof of the lack ability of Arteta at identifying players who are able to make progress in his team. Arsenal currently need a clinical Central Forward and and Central Midfielder, the current players in that positions can't be relied on due to injuries and inconsistency. It feels easy to predict who will be the winner next season, and the hardest prediction is who will finish in top four position, there are many contestants who are developing to challenge that spots, like Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Manchester United and Chelsea, alongside Liverpool and Arsenal themself.

As the season came to an end and there's not much going on other than gossip and speculation about which manager will get sacked, it's a good time to share a handful of random, obscure stats that nobody cares about:

Passes: Rodri (Man City): 3,633
Hit woodwork: Darwin Nunez (Liverpool): 9

Dispossessed: Mohammed Kudus (West Ham): 93
Fouls: Conor Gallagher (Chelsea): 83

Clubs' stats:
Own goals: Sheffield Utd: 7
Yellow cards: Chelsea: 105

Even Manchester United completed the season with a title despite having a quite poor season. But Arsenal still couldn't after all that high effort.  Sad  I'm really sad for them honestly. Arteta has started to make difference after some time he joined Arsenal. They are competing for the league title much harder than Liverpool for 2 seasons you know.

This has been the closest time ever to becoming the champions. At least they are making progress. But next season, I hope to see a title from them finally. 20 years... It is really a huge period of time without being champions despite being one of the top teams of the league.

In them best season two seasons ago, they bottled it ( The Premier League Competition ) last season, they was suppose to win but yet again screwed things up again Aston Villa and couldn't win Manchester City. These wins would have not made them rely on clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and West Ham United to win it for them.
I'm a big fan of how they've progressed and also how they've been playing as a team last season and I know they're going to do better than they did.

I'd still be rooting for them come next season, they deserve it this season, they have a good defense which we'll definitely see next season as well, I just want to see another midfielder coming in just if Thomas Partey gets Injured again, that I don't pray or even if he finally leaves the club.

They should win the Premier League Competition if they sign a goalscoring and hungry striker next season.

Yes indeed, at least Arteta has managed to make Arsenal have a performance that continues to improve from season to season, of course the effort is a great effort for good results in the future too. Because after all, next season Liverpool have a new coach and also several other big teams which of course, they will all need time to really be able to make the team better. So yes, with that period at least I still confident Arsenal will still be a candidate team for the Premier League title for next season. But indeed, of course competitive competition will still occur, but it seems Arsenal still have a better chance because after all, Arteta has the quality and ability to make Arsenal get the trophy.

If you turn back the journey of the Premier League this season, actually compared to Manchester United, of course Arsenal first celebrated their championship trophy this season, Arsenal won the Community Shield trophy last August by beating Manchester City in the final match at that time, so if you compare the minor trophy as a reference to Manchester United's success this season compared to Arsenal,  Of course in my opinion Arsenal is far ahead of Manchester United, Arsenal opened the 2023/2024 season with the Community Shield champion trophy and also ended the season in the runner up position, while Manchester United won the FA but actually fell in the Premier League standings this season.

Arsenal performance in the last two seasons is of course very fantastic even though they have not been able to win the Premier League trophy, but at least now they have a strong enough mentality in the championship competition, Arteta has managed to lift the performance and mentality of the Arsenal players so that they are tough enough to face every opponent that exists, honestly maybe even for Manchester United who are indeed said to be better than Arsenal after they won the FA trophy this seasons,It is still doubtful to be able to rise next season.

The coach is not only in charge when his team is playing, but must ensure that each player has a good relationship with other players. The selfishness of the Manchester United players was a result of Ten Hag not being able to manage them well. Ten Hag firmness will enable his players to reduce their selfishness. Several Manchester United players have very good qualities but they are not able to perform optimally because Ten Hag is unable to develop a strategy that can make them develop further. Success in winning the FA Cup trophy does not guarantee that Manchester United's performance will be better next season, a change of coach needs to be made so that Manchester United can provide competition for the top four positions.

I think when evaluating ETH time at Man United, it will be very safe to check both last seasons and check all what he has achieved for the club, how he approaches games and the players available. You will see that he approaches game and get the wins you think they don’t stand a chance to get and the FA Cup win is one major reality of this factor. I understand where the pains of most fans are because of them not being able to make it at least to the top 4 even with the set of players they have and they believe ETH hasn’t done enough yet.

Well when compared to Jose Mourinho Man United squad, I think ETH has a better squad but jose Mourinho had a better impact than ETH man United squad. Well as reported the board will be taking a decision on his stand if to keep him or axe him. Whatever decison they take I think they will have a lot of factors to consider and they have to do that duly so as not to throw the club into more gutters than it already is at this time.

Sacking Ten Haag might not be a bad idea but the board shouldn’t forget that there’s a need for stability as that will help this team be able to keep challenging for more trophies. Well they can preach that to the new manager if they eventually decide to let Eth go.

These fans know nothing about Longevity to be very honest. All they want to see is quick success. Last season Manchester United played good football, I can remember the game against Barcelona in the European Europa League Competition as Manchester United went on to defeat them, when you watch Erik Ten Hag amd his tactics during games like this, you'd see he is a good coach. Challenges do come but the truth is, this is a good manager with proper knowledge of the football thing.
Most of the comments I read are inaccurate and I careless, ask me if I give two fvcks and I'll say hell no! I understand very well they dislike Erik Ten Hag.

Jose Mourinho won two trophies all his years, but Erik Ten Hag has done that in his first two seasons with three finals, these are good signs all that's needed are good and qualified lads to execute the job for him.
Erik Ten Hag also has a higher percentage when you check the winning rate for this manager within them first two seasons.

Take a good look out there if you've got good enough options to replace Erik Ten Hag and name one. If you can then, they can go ahead to sack him. ( Please don't mention Mauricio Pochetino and  Thomas Tuchel. Not even Roberto De Zebri fits in )

Chelsea have agreed to appoint Enzo Maresca as new head coach, here we go!
Source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1795425560484798708

So the deal has already been finalized, this was probably a good decision made by Chelsea. I cannot say for sure if it was a good decision or not because I have no idea how he is going to perform with Chelsea as a manager. If he is able to bring in good results then of course he is a great signing. But if he is unable to bring in good results or results that are expected, it is going to be a problem. Of course, Chelsea will have to pay compensation. But whatever happens, if he is able to bring in good results, I think it is going to be great for Chelsea. And I am pretty sure that he is definitely going to start better compared to how Chelsea started in the last season.

Oh, really? But I shouldn't be surprised about that in fact. Because a young coach was all that they were seeking. Enzo Maresca might really be a good move though. He has just climbed to the PL with Leicester.

By the way when we consider that he worked for Manchester City as an assistant manager in last season also, I expect a good work by him. He might be like Arteta v2 maybe.  Tongue  Chelsea has a very young squad. Only 2 players are above the age of 30 (Thiago Silva is about to leave too). Leicester also has a young squad and Enzo Maresca handled it well. I have good expectations from him with Chelsea too.  Smiley
I don't want to sound opposing to the decision of Chelsea management who sacked Mauricio Pochentino last week and now have announced that former Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca will be the club's new coach but I can't just help it. Mauricio Pochentino without doubt didn't improve the club's performance as much as many of us believed he'll do but considering Chelsea's performance in the last two seasons before the arrival of the Argentine manager, I think there was a progress with Pochentino so why not exercise a little patience with the young manager and see what he does with the team come next season.
Hopefully for the club, Maresca goes on to give them the desired result they want as a club in the nearest future but I don't think he's going to bring instant improvement to the club

If he was even remotely decent in another competition, like maybe not even top four but like 5th, or even maybe even 6th, which would not be easy at all but wouldn't be all that terrible, he may keep his job. But finishing 8th at the league? That's just not good at all.
Currently the news about Ten Hag being fired is still just a rumor. But now we will welcome two new coaches who will join Liverpool and Chelsea. Here comes Arne Slot and Enzo Maresca. These two new coaches can be said to be quite young. Arne Slot has to face pressure and expectations from fans who expect him to be Klopp's successor. And Enzo Maresca is expected to be able to bring Chelsea to be better next season. I am very excited to see the change of coach because we will see a different performance this season. I haven't read much about Arne Slot but I read the news saying that Enzo Maresca is the current Leicester coach who succeeded in bringing Leicester back to playing in the Premier League.

Lol..... I can agree with the word manage here as even Manchester City played better, it's just that Manchester utilized the chances they had during the first half of the game. Not just the FA Cup Competition, when you want to evaluate Erik Ten Hag, make sure you make good use of the both seasons he has been a coach here.
A new season hasn't kicked off yet, I don't quite comprehend most of the things written.

I won't say that, but they're not up to the standards of Erik Ten Hag.  Jose Mourinho and other managers who have managed the club did well but last season, we saw upgrades from all they did.

They give him a chance or not that's them business, I see what they're trying to do, bringing in a puppet as head coach who they can control. But then, these names linked with Manchester United are not even better than Erik Ten Hag.

Chelsea is closing in on the Enzo Maresca signing for the manager seat. After promoting to the Premier League with Leicester he has drawn the attention to himself. Normally I wasn't expecting Chelsea to go for him.

But on the other hand Chelsea is looking for young managers like I said before. So it should be understandable. However I'm still thinking like rather than such move, Chelsea should prioritize a move for Conte.  Smiley  If they offer him a contract I think he would think of it seriously as he won a Premier League with them before. Otherwise it seems like Napoli is trying to finalize a deal with Conte recently. They say Napoli is close to making the deal official now.

They should get it done completely, if this is the coach they have plans with for the next few years, then I believe they'll do just fine. This Enzo Maresca one time worked under or with Josep Pep Guardiola as his assistant coach and he is also Italian who I know are always tactically sound and and will do a good job.

Talking about Italian coaches brings me good memories of Antonio Conte anf the season he was in charge of Chelsea. I hope to see same with Enzo Marasca but he'll definitely face challenges when he arrives. I have seen games he handles and how tactically brilliant he's been with Leicester City. I'm already positive to say they'll compete hard for the Premier League Competition next season. They have a pretty talented squad of players now they've gotten a good coach to lead em.

Yeah, Antonio Conte has not plans in the Premier League Competition, I would love to see what he can achieve with them since they'll not be involved in any of the European Competitions for next season.

Yeah Enzo maresca has had good experience coaching Leicester city, I believe things will change at the Stamford bridge next season with his presence. Pochettino style of play was not helping Chelsea win games, so it was a good thing for the management to recognize that they need to change the coach, because it was obviously looking like he was lacking the sophistication of turning around things for good, I see that a lot of Chelsea fans are happy with the news.  But for Enzo maresca to start well for next season, he needs to sign new players to swagger up a new team that will rekindle the winning ways Chelsea used to enjoy, because going with this current crop of players Chelsea have now, he will do little.

I do not think that there is anything to be confused about. Ten Hag has to go. Winning one match is not enough and should not change the decision of the Manchester United authority. He has not done anything good for the club in my opinion. Every decision that he has taken was biased and was not for the best interest of the club. I do not understand how a coach is still in the club when a lot of players actually leave the club because they have problems with the coach. of course, I do not have to remind people what they had done with Cristiano Ronaldo.

I also believe that changing the coach is not going to be the biggest solution. The owners of Manchester United have to change. They are looking at Manchester United as the moneymaking machine. They are milking this club to make as much money as they can. That is a big reason why they do not like to keep players who take high wages in the club.
That is the weird part, a lot of fans and even the management is confused, I mean firing the person who won the FA Cup is not an easy decision, if he finished top four this year as well then he would have stayed, but dude played a terrible season, not only he finished the league 8th, which is disgusting for United level of money spending, but also he was last at the UCL groups as well. He did TERRIBLE at two competitions, and just won one of them.

If he was even remotely decent in another competition, like maybe not even top four but like 5th, or even maybe even 6th, which would not be easy at all but wouldn't be all that terrible, he may keep his job. But finishing 8th at the league? That's just not good at all.

Erik ten Hag is still adding trophies to the collection of the team. While not many people were giving them a chance they managed to beat Manchester City there. Despite not having a very strong squad I believe Erik ten Hag is still doing his best. I don't think anything will change if they replace him but still not make the needed additions to the squad this summer.  Sad
Because Erik Ten Hag managed to beat Man City and won a trophy to give to his club, I think it will be a consideration for Man Utd in retaining him and maybe giving him the opportunity next season to train the Red Devils again, Ten Hag has done very well in in a match no one expected, with small opportunities and playing with a lot of pressure, Man Utd remains confident in carrying out their attacks. If Man U also does the same thing in important matches this season, maybe they can finish in a better ranking.

Other coaches are not necessarily good for Man United. There have been too many coaches appointed by Man U but none have been as good as Ten Hag in the last few seasons so it is possible that Man U will give him a chance and hopefully this summer he will recruit players who have good potential. and don't fail again in selecting the required players.

If the media reports are true, it already has been decided that he's on his way out. Allegedly he already had a talk with Jim Ratcliffe and was informed of the decision.
There was no way he could stay for another season after the club placed in the worst league place since the 1989/90 season (when they ended up 13th).
Although, to be fair to him, when Alex Ferguson took over he was also far from being successful in the first few years. United's places under Ferguson in his first 5 years as the manager were respectively: 11th, 2nd, 12th, 13th and 6th and things massively improved since then.

Anyhow, the big question is who will replace him. Names currently floating around in the news are: Roberto De Zerbi, Thomas Tuchel, Kieran McKenna, Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank.

I understand that you said under Alex Ferguson Manchester United did not have good results initially. But we could see that he was trying to improve the club and not thinking about bringing his favorite players into the club, right? You can't deny, he was bringing in players that he actually thought the club needed. The players who he liked before. And recently Man United has made a lot of transfers that did not work out at all as expected. They have literally wasted money and did not get any return. Paul Pogba, Harry Maguire, Antony few of them. All of these were record-breaking deals if I'm not wrong. And none of them worked out. Paul Pogba had to be let go from the club for free and both Harry Maguire and Antony are still causing problems for Manchester United.

I think Tuchel might be a good experiment, who knows Tuchel still has his magic for his first season just like he did when he handled Chelsea. But the point is, sacking Erik ten Hag or keeping Erik ten Hag I think Manchester United will still be difficult to be able to enter into a candidate team for the Premier League title. But back again, if the new Manchester United coach will have great magic, then of course Manchester United will quickly transform to be even better in the Premier League. Considering next season that Manchester United will also play in the Europa League, then of course the selection of a new coach is an important factor to make the team have a great performance next season.
