Honestly speaking Arsenal really miss use their opportunity last season and this season they couldn't be able to lift the premier league trophy, just check out last season in the premier league all most everybody see arsenal as a champion of England premier league last season but they couldn't be able to make it, and also this season they were doing very well in the beginning if not for that lose against Aston villa I think they would have been able to be the champion of England premier league this season.
Arsenal have been playing well for the past few seasons, but they haven’t been able to win the league title. Arsenal are always making mistakes, which will make them not win the league. Arsenal played well last season, but I will say Arsenal losing to Aston Villa was the greatest mistake Arsenal made last season. Immediately after they lost to Aston Villa, Manchester City took the advantage and was ahead of them with two points, which Manchester City maintained till the end of the season.

After losing to Aston Villa, Arsenal won all the matches they had remaining, so they were just expecting Manchester City to lose any of their matches so that they would be able to be ahead of Manchester City, but Manchester City also maintained their winning streak till the season ended. I just hope Arsenal will perform better next season, all we want to see them do is win the trophy and not end the season in second place.

I think for arsenal to lift the premier league title next season is not really satin for them because they always give up along the way, however I think them really have to break every Yoke that is making them not to lift the premier league title for the past few seasons now, I think doing that is going to help them to won the premier league next season.

According to me. For next season, Arsenal needs an even sharper striker. Currently, there are no Arsenal players on the list of the 10 most fertile players in the Premier League. Arsenal failed to become Premier League champions again. The Gunners need a sharp striker to add strength to their squad. Benjamin Sesko is rumored to be the Gunners' main target in the transfer market this summer. Sesko has recently been chased by top European clubs, including the giants of the English Premier League and Italian Serie A. However, Sesko is said to be more likely to join the Emirates Stadium. Apart from Benjamin Sesko, Arsenal are also hunting for Marcus Rashford's signature.

I feel like they'd be needing a striker in the Premier League Competition who has experience, either of Olie Watkins Alexander Isaak and Ivan Toney would be nice option in my own opinion.
I'm seeing news of then being linked with Benjamin Sesko but how quickly can he adapt to the Premier League Competition? This is my major concern otherwise I don't really give two shirts!

Marcus Rashford to Arsenal? That's completely speculations. As much as I currently dislike Marcus Trashford, I don't think there's any level of truth in this news no, it can't be.
They should rather get in a player like Serhou Guirassy since they'll both be playing in the Champions League Competition and the Premier League Competition.

They have a solid defense, I would also love to see a bew midfielder added to the squad but will they the management fund for that?

Arsenal failure this season is certainly painful for fans who already have great faith in Arteta to be able to end Arsenal title fast, but indeed a very competitive competition in the Premier League certainly makes all possibilities happen at the end of the season, this season Arsenal continues to be at the top of the standings and even in the last 7 matches they also still control the top of the Premier League standings,  But unfortunately one defeat to Aston Villa made all their chances of winning the Premier League this season ruined and actually made Manchester City who previously continued to be ranked 3rd able to end the season with their 4th consecutive championship trophy.

Arsenal performance is quite good this season of course not supported by the qualified central strikers they have, indeed Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus and Niketiah in the pure striker position but both of them are not able to make a big contribution this season and tend to expect goals on Saka and Martinelli who are wingers, what you say is indeed quite true and to still be able to compete next season,  Arteta should be looking for a central striker who can really be a reliable finisher in front of the opponent goal.
Arsenal are reportedly in need of additional ammunition, especially on the front lines. As you might assume, Gabriel Jesus, who was brought in from Man City, was unable to show his best ability on the front lines. In fact, Jesus often gets injured so he can't compete with Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard, who often get the opportunity to play more as a center forward. Arteta has started to lose confidence in Gabriel Jesus. So, in this summer's transfer market, the Gunners will bring in a new player for the attacking post. There are several potential attackers that Arsenal are interested in, but one strong name that has emerged is RB Leipzig's bomber, Benjamin Sesko. But it looks like Arsenal will have to prepare large funds to bring Sesko to the Emirates Stadium, because Sesko has just been strengthening RB Leipzig since the summer of 2023, which means his contract is still valid until the summer of 2028. You can guess how much money Arsenal will have to spend to redeem the players they are targeting. Arsenal will definitely sell some of their players to secure their finances. We hope Arteta doesn't make a mistake in selling and buying players for next season.

The financial strength possessed by Manchester City certainly makes it easier for Guardiola to strengthen his squad every season, some star players certainly do not escape their targets in order to fulfill their ambitions to win the championship trophy every season, the number of players they have brought in is of course countless more the amount of money they have spent so far and that is why currently Manchester City is included in the team that is suspected of fouls Quite a lot of finances, because indeed they do not care how expensive the price of the player is because the important thing they can get, the trophy that Manchester City has continued to get is certainly proof of how Guardiola is able to unite every star player that exists.

Speaking of Arteta, it seems that you are wrong, so far the players who have been bought by Arteta in the last two seasons have certainly contributed quite a lot and so far in my opinion no one has failed except maybe Gabriel Jesus who is a little beyond the expectations they wanted and of course injuries have made Jesus unable to be at his best so far,  If you say Ramsdale and Havertz are failed purchases of course you are wrong, since Ramsdale came to Arsenal, Ramsdale was immediately able to get the position of Arsenal main goalkeeper at that time to replace Leno and indeed the competition with Raya made him start to become a second goalkeeper but that does not mean he is a bad goalkeeper, while Havertz at the beginning of his arrival was of course quite disappointing but slowly he was able to become a mainstay of Arsenal and scored 13 goals and 7 assists,  Did he fail?

With great finances, Man City have been able to build a very strong squad because with their finances they are able to get any player they want into their team no matter what and that alone is the reason they still remain a strong force to reckon with in England. This huge finance, yes it’s a good thing for them as a team but it has also raised concerns of FFP and that is quite worrisome.

Arteta on the other hand has been able to build a team by going for specific players he needs and I think yes they have been able to deliver for him in terms of performance. At this point, I think Arteta haven’t been bad especially with the new players as most have lived up to expectations. The case of Jesus, I will blame more on injury because you can see how he performed while he was brought in to the squad, I think his performance reduced drastically when he got injured.

With the way Arteta signs players, you will understand that he
might not just go for the best because of the finances but what he goes for is to help build a strong and fierce squad for the future. With the way Arsenal is going, I think in less than no time they will be a strong force to reckon with and all I can say is that they should be watched out for because when Pep leaves, they might be winners of the EPL. As much as finance is important I think building for the future is way importanter.

Even Manchester United completed the season with a title despite having a quite poor season. But Arsenal still couldn't after all that high effort.  Sad  I'm really sad for them honestly. Arteta has started to make difference after some time he joined Arsenal. They are competing for the league title much harder than Liverpool for 2 seasons you know.

This has been the closest time ever to becoming the champions. At least they are making progress. But next season, I hope to see a title from them finally. 20 years... It is really a huge period of time without being champions despite being one of the top teams of the league.

Oh, really? But I shouldn't be surprised about that in fact. Because a young coach was all that they were seeking. Enzo Maresca might really be a good move though. He has just climbed to the PL with Leicester.

By the way when we consider that he worked for Manchester City as an assistant manager in last season also, I expect a good work by him. He might be like Arteta v2 maybe.  Tongue  Chelsea has a very young squad. Only 2 players are above the age of 30 (Thiago Silva is about to leave too). Leicester also has a young squad and Enzo Maresca handled it well. I have good expectations from him with Chelsea too.  Smiley

Well, the way Chelsea performed in the last season, especially towards the first 75% of matches, almost anyone is going to be able to bring in better results. Yes, they were able to recover towards the end. But was that enough? If that was enough they would have kept the coach that they had right?

From the new coach, whoever it is expectations are going to be high. But I hope people also do not expect too much

I don't want to sound opposing to the decision of Chelsea management who sacked Mauricio Pochentino last week and now have announced that former Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca will be the club's new coach but I can't just help it. Mauricio Pochentino without doubt didn't improve the club's performance as much as many of us believed he'll do but considering Chelsea's performance in the last two seasons before the arrival of the Argentine manager, I think there was a progress with Pochentino so why not exercise a little patience with the young manager and see what he does with the team come next season.
Hopefully for the club, Maresca goes on to give them the desired result they want as a club in the nearest future but I don't think he's going to bring instant improvement to the club

I absolutely agree. People should understand that a coach needs a lot of time to actually be able to bring in good results. I do not know why nowadays nobody actually wants to understand that. A lot of great coaches did not find initial success in their coaching career. Seems like everyone is impatient nowadays. He was bringing in very good results towards the end. Probably it would have been a good idea to give him a little more time. But maybe they were scared that he would actually start the next season like he did in the last one as well. Let’s see if whoever they bring in is actually any better.

Pep Guadiola is a manger that will only manage teams that hae the ability to spend money because if team is not willing to spend money, Pep will never feel comfortable with his job because he is not used to coaching of average players just as other coaches are doing that is why some people are still respecting many coaches that can survive in a team that have limited number of world class players; we have seen how Pep ended while coaching Bayern as the team fail to give him enough money to sign more players.
almost most coaches have the same wishes as you say, but the only difference is that Guardiola can truly appreciate and realize dreams for the team which gives him the freedom to spend large amounts of money to recruit high quality players.
last season and this season are proof that Guardiola is always successful in providing new history that makes all Man City and also the fans of this team proud.
not many can become coaches like Guardiola who have the opportunity to bring in players according to his wishes but can also pursue his goals and another example is Tuchel who has succeeded in bringing in Kane from Spurs but failed in all competitions.

Yes indeed, at least Arteta has managed to make Arsenal have a performance that continues to improve from season to season, of course the effort is a great effort for good results in the future too. Because after all, next season Liverpool have a new coach and also several other big teams which of course, they will all need time to really be able to make the team better. So yes, with that period at least I still confident Arsenal will still be a candidate team for the Premier League title for next season. But indeed, of course competitive competition will still occur, but it seems Arsenal still have a better chance because after all, Arteta has the quality and ability to make Arsenal get the trophy.
Actually, I don't really doubt the performance of Arsenal players, but I doubt Arteta, who at this time and in the previous season only had the same contribution without being able to get any results, even though you say every season Arteta makes a change, for me it's not.
It is proven by the results that Arteta got last season and this season, it is only the same, he remains in 2nd place after Manchester City and other evidence can be seen from the results of the points he got last season and this season, there is only a difference of 5 points and this means that Arsenal have not made any changes big but still inconsistent.

Arteta only needs 1 commitment and it must be really maintained and this commitment is just trying to rotate perfectly with a more consistent strategy to balance appearances in several competitions between the champions league and the premier league.
That's all I can understand in the last 2 seasons. Artera still hasn't been able to provide the right strategy to maintain Arsenal's consistency in looking strong in the Premier League and Champions League.
If from the start of the season Arteta can maintain Arsenal players' consistency in not losing too often in every match, it will definitely be easy to win the Premier League title in the next season.

None of the players Arteta signed failed because they are all good and are oerforming to expectation except Gabriel Jesus that is not consistent due to injury.
My surprising signing was Trossard; he has performed above expectation becuause he was signed as a back up plan just because they failed to secure Mudryk as he joined Chelsea instead of Arsenal, and Trossard is now trying his best as he manager is even confident of starting him ahead of Mertinelli.

Manchester United is currently not only the coach that needs to be evaluated, but also the players. It seems that players also show a selfish attitude in every match. All players want to be the straiker, and hope he is the one who scores the goals. They should not work in their position. Maybe Ten Hag is not able to manage these players at this time so there needs to be an evaluation or rotation of coaches for next season.

I actually read the news today that Manchester United board are not going to sack Ten Hag again although they will also not publicly announce this also. The FA cup was a lifeline for him to stay longer in the club, had they lost that game Manchester United will have sacked him because they will also have missed out on European competitions too, which to me would’ve still been a huge mistake.

Right now Ten Hag might not be getting this much results that the club needs but he is certainly on the right part. Two trophies in two seasons is a good way to start, as this gives you the players and club hope that the future will be better. I must say Manchester United seriously need a squad overhaul. And new arrivals must be brought in. The first situation is replacing the defense which were the biggest problems this season. The defense needs new players and also exits like the likes of Maguire, Evans and Varane who confirms his leaving already.

Yes indeed, such selfishness will really have bad results for the team and thus, then I also agree that the evaluation should be done for the Manchester United squad and not the coach. Because obviously, Erik ten Hag is still able and or managed to deliver good results even if not maximized but at least, his prospects still look good. Moreover, some big teams will also have a new coach, so they will start all over again and it will not be easy for them. Therefore, keeping Erik ten Hag I think is still a good decision because of course, if Manchester United keep Erik ten Hag it will only make an even better improvement because Erik ten Hag is no longer a new person at Manchester United.

That will only happen after Guardiola leaves Mancity and the Arsenal owner gives Arteta the freedom and enough funds to be able to buy the players he wants.
Arsenal is known to be quite stingy in the transfer market, just like Liverpool.
I think Newcastle and Chelsea with their money power, maybe will be able to compete and overtake Mancity dominance in the next few years.
Many people scoffed with Arsenal where they say they did not win a single champion this season, even though if we look back on the journey this season, Arsenal has get trophy for the first team compared to Manchester United, Arsenal managed to beat Manchester City at the beginning of the season in the Community Shield final, so it is not appropriate for us to compare the trophy as a reference to say Manchester United is better than Arsenal this season,  In my opinion, compared to Manchester United, of course Arsenal can still be proud because they can end the season in second place and qualify for the Champions League, while Manchester United have to fight hard to qualify for the Europa League and only end the season ranked 8th this season, so who is sadder in your opinion, Arteta or Ten Hag?

Arsenal can build their team by bringing in experienced players after their finances improve, so far Arsenal have a strong reason to be limited in making player transfers so far, if we want to find out a little about the reason Arsenal are very stingy in player transfers and often sell their star players, of course we can find out the strong reasons behind this,  Broadly speaking, I elaborate: after Arsenal won the EPL championship trophy last time in 2004, Arsenal decided to move to the Emirates Stadium from previously using Highbury Stadium as its home base, at that time the Emirates Stadium was build with a large debt and Arsenal saved money from the sale of stars to pay off the cost of building the stadium and finally paid off in 2015.

As the season came to an end and there's not much going on other than gossip and speculation about which manager will get sacked, it's a good time to share a handful of random, obscure stats that nobody cares about:

Players' stats:
Goalkeeper with the most ball punches: Neto (Bournemouth): 26
Passes: Rodri (Man City): 3,633
Hit woodwork: Darwin Nunez (Liverpool): 9
Big chances missed: Erling Haaland (Man City): 34
Dispossessed: Mohammed Kudus (West Ham): 93
Fouls: Conor Gallagher (Chelsea): 83

Clubs' stats:
Own goals: Sheffield Utd: 7
Yellow cards: Chelsea: 105
Red cards: Burnley: 7
Offsides: Liverpool: 100
Tacles: Crystal Palace: 788

Source: https://www.premierleague.com/

I didn't see to much of th games played by Bournemouth, ask me if I know Neto I'd say No!

Rodri was solid, with his passes, being defensive and offensive and he also had one unbeaten run until he finally lost it against Manchester United during the FA Cup Finals. Top Lad in the middle of the park. Eyes in him during the Euro's.

Darwin Nunez would bounce back better I'm sure, he's a good lad, I would love to see the squad built around him I rate him highly.

We saw Erling Haaland facing some difficulties scoring goals and missing chances in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. Glad to finally see him topping the chart .

But Mohammed Kudus had the highest dribbles in the Premier League Competition, Yeah? Yes, he did! Don't have no idea about Gallagher, all I know is that he was Chelsea's best player in the first half of the season.

Don't know about Crystal Palace and them tackles. What I know is the the Portuguese lad in Fulham United Paulihna had the highest tackles won in the Premier League Competition. This are my own additions.

Guardiola with financial backing is a cheat code for a league, only Klopp has stopped him just in one season. The financial backing makes Guardiola a lot easier to prepare the plan for each season, because he can get any player he want to settle in his tactical plans, while other managers have to wait what type of players their clubs can get to prepare the plan for the season. Guardiola himself is also a 'pull' for any player to come to his team, it's rare for players to reject the opportunity play under Guardiola while they can also get the highest possible wage.will

Arteta needs to stop wasting their budget on players who can't improve his team. Some signings like Ramsdale, Jesus, and Havertz are proof of the lack ability of Arteta at identifying players who are able to make progress in his team. Arsenal currently need a clinical Central Forward and and Central Midfielder, the current players in that positions can't be relied on due to injuries and inconsistency. It feels easy to predict who will be the winner next season, and the hardest prediction is who will finish in top four position, there are many contestants who are developing to challenge that spots, like Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Manchester United and Chelsea, alongside Liverpool and Arsenal themself.

Every great coach will sure be needing adequate funding to be able to thrive and I think this is the bliss of Manchester City side as they have the huge amount to spend for Pep to be able to get the type of players he want season in and out. The fact that in 7 years, they have won the title 6 times is a big indication of how top their team is and you must give credits to both Pep and the Board for releasing the finance for him. Arsenal who are now getting back on their feats haven’t had the best of signings as you can see how in the past 2 seasons.

Their mew players tend not to be at that top level in one match or two or more. This is an indication on the need for the scouting team to seat up and do their job real good as they’re so close to challenging Man City. What they need so dearly at this point is a complete striker who will be sure of banging in 20+ goals in a single season amd with that of course, they can be sure of winning the league, they also need a good midfielder but not as they need a striker.

Of course, Arteta will be able to build this player and help him adapt to their style and this team could be on fire next season. Well next season will be real exciting especially with Man City still remaining dominant both their players and financially, Chelsea rebuilding real fast and Man United, not forgetting Arsenal, Liverpool and likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham. Wow next season will be super exciting but I think Man City might win the title again.

It is reported that this week Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the club management will conduct a thorough evaluation of Ten Hag performance in the last two seasons and Fabrizio Romano confirmed that a decision on Ten Hag future at Manchester United will come out next week, so I think at the moment the fans are in a state of alarm if indeed maybe Ten Hag will stay at Manchester United, Because indeed the majority of Manchester United fans today do want Ten Hag to be sacked and they want a new coach who is able to lift Manchester United performance next season.
Even though they managed to win the FA Cup, the club management's decision to carry out an evaluation was the right decision. Club management needs to evaluate Ten Hag's overall performance in one or two full seasons. This can enable them to make wise decisions. Just because he won the FA Cup doesn't mean Ten Hag should be retained. But some fans have grown to like Ten Hag and hope the club keeps him for next season. Some other fans think Ten Hag should be sacked because United's current performance is not the Manchester United they want to see.

Then be patient for the club caused by it takes time to rebuild it from scratch again. Ten Hag intends to overhaul his roster whenever INEOS grants him another extension to lead the club and this announcement may be released by INEOS as soon as they have done evaluating the result from the current season. What the hell do you mean, all players want to be strikers? What a non sense thing is this?  Some players are selfish enough when they come close to the penalty box, but your post is completely unconnected. It's caused by you said all players wanna be strikers and who the heck it is?

What the hell are you saying? All players want to be strikers? Did you understand football? They are playing in their designated spots since early to the end of season. Stop joking, guy. What a hilarious post. The FA Cup has shown that he is still at least useful to the team by giving a trophy to the manchester united, ten hag proven he is worthy enough to still become the man for the job. Do you watch it?

That will only happen after Guardiola leaves Mancity and the Arsenal owner gives Arteta the freedom and enough funds to be able to buy the players he wants.
Arsenal is known to be quite stingy in the transfer market, just like Liverpool.
I think Newcastle and Chelsea with their money power, maybe will be able to compete and overtake Mancity dominance in the next few years.
