Arsenal's next games:

Arsenal - Brighton

This will be a tough opponent that could steal points from Arsenal, something like making Arsenal draw.

Tottenham - Arsenal

I see it as an easy game for Arsenal, but they shouldn't underestimate the disastrous Tottenham.

Manchester City - Arsenal

This will be Arsenal's toughest game and without a doubt losing this game will affect Arsenal's chances of winning the title, but if they win then Arsenal will be at the top of the table and they just need to be consistent and not make the same mistakes they made in the last 2 seasons when they were at the top, until near the end of the league, but then they made mistakes that made them lose the title. Speaking of Arsenal's misfortunes, I read news that Gabriel Jesus is injured.

In recent seasons, luck has not been on Gabriel Jesus' side. He has not been able to play much during the seasons. Injuries are destroying his career. He is not even playing for the Brazilian national team. Fortunately, Arsenal has been able to cope well with Gabriel Jesus' absence. As a Liverpool fan, I am convinced that Liverpool will beat Arsenal and Manchester City and become champions. That is why I hope that the game between Manchester City and Arsenal ends in a draw and that Liverpool wins all the next games to stay at the top of the table.

Brighton 2 - 1 Manchester United


 

It was a game with many events that made me laugh. Honestly, Manchester United fans have great reasons to cry.

After Arsenal’s match yesterday against Aston Villa, I’m very much convinced that they’re well equipped to win the league. This game was anything but straightforward. Villa  had them on the rope too many times. I knew it was never going to be easy. But they had to find a way to pick up the 3 points.

Arsenal are not even premium yet and they kept back to back clean sheets, they conceded too many shots in the two games,

And saying they should improve in defence does not mean they didn’t do well defensively last season. Two truths can coexist but they still conceded some silly goals last season. They can cut out the mistakes and suddenly they have improved. I’m optimistic that they will get better as the season progresses.

The manager is got everything putting in something to give them the results they want. The whole team woke up in the second half yesterday. It was a beautiful sight especially Partey goal. That’s how you win difficult games to give you the confidence you need to win a big title.

As usual Man City have clamb ontop of premier league table again this season after beating Ipswich town 4 -1 yesterday I think they are going to take premier league title again this season, because looking at the premier league now I don't really think if any club would be able to defeat them.

Because as long as england premier league is concerned Man City still remains the best club. However, I think the only club I see that will only stop man city from taking the premier league title this season is only Arsenal because they would like to correct their past mistake.

I agree that Manchester United victory in the first match was purely luck because in terms of quality there was nothing impressive at all. Then in the second match it was clear that Manchester United were even more disorganized. This is a bad sign if a club as big as Manchester United continues to experience defeat when they are most active in bringing in players. There is no harm in temporarily concluding that Manchester United recruitment has had no impact. And next week could be an inevitable defeat, Liverpool must be looking forward to the match to destroy the mentality of Manchester United players and Erik Ten Hag. The real threat is before their eyes.

Brighton started this season very well unlike there performance last season premier League and they will certainly go very far this season if they continue there wining method, however they have already played two matches which is Manchester United and Everton and manage to secure there 6 points from those teams and getting another 3 point from there next match will be very easy for them because Crawley Town is not a club that would put any pressure on them because they are not strong and they even lose there first match to Wigan Athletic.

However we have three premier League match today which is Bournemouth vs Newcastle, Chelsea vs Wolves and Liverpool Brentford, I don't think there would be any draw on those matches especially the Liverpool match because already they have a wining odd and I also believe that Bournemouth Newcastle will not play draw but however is hard to get the right team that would win the match because there performance is not much clear yet since the league has just started.

Arsenal played impressively. I don't even think it was an away game for them because they completely dominated the game, despite the fact that their opponent was Aston Villa who played at their home ground. Arsenal had a pretty good rhythm and they also had pretty solid backline coordination, and the most striking thing was the performance of David Raya who performed impressively in the last 2 matches. It seems like this is the victory that Arsenal has been waiting for because Aston Villa has always made them miserable before.

A very good start to the season for Arteta and Arsenal Arsenal's second win is the seriousness of Arteta and his team to hunt for the title this season perfectly, but they must remain consistent in several matches and if possible avoid wasting points in important matches, because that will be a disaster at the end of the season take lessons from the last two seasons and that is enough to be a lesson for Arteta and Arsenal, who have always been defeated by Man City in the last two seasons, so this season is the right time to prove that Arsenal is able to break Man City's record to win the title for the 3rd time in a row.

Goodluck to the other teams going to Villa Park. I am not even sure Manchester City can boast of a win there this season. They will need to work their asses off. They lost there last season I think. The only reason they got a let off in the second leg was because were Emery rested some first team players.

I was surprised with the tactical set up by Emery yesterday. They nullified arsenal midfield play so their midfielders won’t be able to open up spaces to receive the ball, especially in that first half. It looked like they were hiding.

Arsenal players couldn’t attempt the typical line breaking pass they normally do even when the openings were there. Also Aston Villa didn't press and didn't play a high line. Those were the two key features of their game last season. Maybe it was what made Arsenal find a way in the second half of the game when they introduced Trossard and made a difference.

I think the major difference was that Arsenal were clinical and Aston Villa were wasteful. I think It was the other way around last season.

Manchester united victory in their first match of the season was good but the scores wasn't impressing because they had a lot of chances that they would've make the goals plenty though Fulham bit them in their last match and Manchester united winning against Fulham was a lucky one. Rashford performance this period is really not encouraging I mean it's poor, he barely break the defense to score  and even when he does or a pass is been given to him, he always mess up. I can still remember when Rashford was hot he can't play without scoring 1or 2 goals but I don't know what has come over him and I think his coach loves him so much, I believe if Ten hag will keep him on bench for sometime he will definitely improve so that he won't be benched next time. That's why I like Manchester city coach he doesn't look at face if your performance is not given you will be benched no matter your record. League just started let see how the next match will look like.

What happened to Manchester United last season is still going to repeat itself this season. The first match which was won by Manchester United was just luck, the match would have ended in a draw, and they couldn’t win against Brighton. This season isn’t going to be an easy one for Manchester United, and even when playing against weak teams, they are going to find it very difficult to win them. If ten Hag can’t improve Manchester United’s performance this season, then it’s just better they let him go, they should get someone better than him.

A club that struggled to win against Fulham and couldn’t win Brighton, how do you expect them to win a club like Liverpool? I already have it in mind that it’s going to be another loss for Manchester United, so just as you said, they will end up being in the middle of the table.

Yeah I have seen both, impressive work by them.    Did you see Gabriel at the same time? He was nearly causing Aston Villa to get ahead in the first half because of making a huge mistake...

I said it before. Gabriel can be really unreliable sometimes. This is why I want to see Calafiori as well in his place in the starting eleven soon. I know he has played as LB a lot so far but can play in both positions.

By the way I couldn't watch Brighton - Manchester United live but watched the recap later. That disallowed goal because of Zirkzee's being in the wrong place at the wrong time... That could have really been the winning goal for them.  

Manchester united match yesterday was very annoying after what Brighton did to them last season they couldn't correct their mistakes in the game yesterday, though just imagine the pressure that Brighton was putting on them after 1 goal down in the first half. However, after Manchester united equalize the game 1-1 in the second half I almost concluded that Manchester united is going to won them in the extra time because of the 7 minutes that was given to them, but to my greatest surprise Brighton was able to take the lead in the die minutes what a poor performance from Manchester united prayers.

Arsenal managed to avenge their defeat against Aston Villa last season, the victory achieved by Arsenal at Villa Park will be quite good capital to face their next match against Brighton next week, but I think in this match there are still many weaknesses shown by Arsenal in particular their attack line looked very difficult to can break Aston Villa defense, although in the end Arsenal won 2-0 over Aston Villa, we could see how Havertz and Martinelli were too weak in playing, Arteta strategy was the return of their victory in that match after Arteta replaced Martinelli with Trossard and it was seen that their attack had improved impressively until the match was over.
It looks like for the next match Arteta needs to reconsider playing trossard from the start of the match, with this victory many assume that Arsenal will again be a title challenger this season, but in my opinion it is still too early for us to assume that considering the many other clubs currently It has transformed by bringing in many star players and is ready to challenge for the title this season.

I think not replacing Ten Haag last season was Man Utd's mistake. 2 games in in this season and it's clear that they have the same primary problem - lack of offensive power. An unconvincing win against Fulham and a loss to Brighton is a bad sign for a club which is supposed to be aspiring for the title.
They're playing against Liverpool next week. That will be a good test for them. If they don't put up a good fight, that would mean they'll probably end up in the middle of a table again.

A solid performance by Man City, 4-1 against Ipswich moved them to the to of the table and Haaland now leads the top scorers' table.
Tough game for Arsenal, but they managed to end up with a 2-0 win, Villa did have their chances to take the lead but were a bit out of luck.

Manchester United won the first match of Premier League and they got 3 points in that match. But in the second match, we did not see such a performance from Manchester United. Manchester United conceded a goal in the first half against Brighton and there was clearly a weakness in their defence, but when Manchester United equalized in the second half, the Red Devils fans had some hope of winning the match. But going to extra time of the match, Manchester United conceded one more goal to Brighton and there Manchester United lost full points. As it came to the very end of the match Manchester United should have focused a little more on their defense which Manchester United did not and as a result they lost the second match. If one point could be obtained in the last match, then Manchester United's position would be number three to four in the points table.

Arteta seems really serious about pursuing the EPL title this season and all can be seen from Arsenal defense which is currently very strong without conceding a goal is one of Arsenal pride. However, I am worried that this kind of performance only happens temporarily and is not consistent as often happened to Arsenal in previous seasons when they were close to Man City position but in the end could not catch up with Man City points. Arsenal is now a hot topic again after getting 2 successes with 6 points which are currently achieved, making fans very sure that Arteta is able to give Arsenal the EPL title but must be able to compete with Man City. Arteta only needs to maintain the consistency of the squad.

That's to say Manchester United don't have be better 11 to go into any game at the moment, like they're managing these guys you mentioned. The case of Rashford he can't perform like he used to, those runs are no longer effective and I can't see him fitting in any position that would be more productive for Man UTD, he's not improving, Antony and Garnacho are even trying this time around than him.
When you see those changes ETH made you'd understand that he doesn't have a clue of what he was doing at that moment, removing Bruno wasn't the best and I wonder why is McTominay not starting ahead of Kobbie Mainoo, this guy is not suppose to be benching Scott in any way and I hate when England over hype their own talking about Mainoo, he is losing it. Scott has been on the bench since the beginning of the since and I think is time ETH rotate his starting eleven if not going against Liverpool with these same guys would be a disaster for Manchester United.

It was great to see Arsenal avenge their defeat last season I didn't expect Arsenal to do it at Aston Villa I think it was a shame for the hosts because they couldn't score at all against Arsenal they looked struggling, Aston Villa had more shots and 3 of them were on target but couldn't break through Arsenal's defense on the other hand Arsenal who had fewer shots they were able to score 2 goals and could steal 3 points from Aston Villa.
Now Arsenal have collected 6 points from 2 matches in the EPL, I hope their performance will continue like this until the end of this season.

Good God! That was terrible. Even a juvenile could see that was a wrong decision to made by Erik ten Hag. If you saw that game, you'd see that the midfied lacked energy and Kobbie Mainoo was already booked. Erik ten Hag should have substituted brought in Scott MC Tominay for Kobbie Mainoo and return Bruno Fernandez back to him number 10 role.

Wrong selections from the first half and wrong decisions from the manager lead to that lose. He has taken responsibility for that yesterday. Hopefully he shapes well against Liverpool otherwise, the media will be banging hard on him.

Can they stop playing Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire? Marcus Rashford should grow up, hes no longer 21 or 23 he's gonna be bloody 27 for goodness sake soon. Harry Maguire with the highest pay as a defender and he cannot do a proper defensive job for Manchester United.

There's nothing surprising about seeing Bruno Fernandes as a striker. This is because Ten hag did like to do various experiments for his club. Or it's probably Zirkzee who has a problem with his fitness; then, Ten Hag decided to put him in the second half instead of giving him a chance to play full time.

Also, the decision to replace Bruno with Tominay was terrible. I'd prefer to see Bruno back in his actual position. It's bad to see how Bruno Fernandes contributed nothing when he was placed as a striker. Lastly, i hope ten Hag brings him back to his actual position, and I'd prefer Rashford to play as ST if we need an urgent one instead of Bruno.
