70 million for 2 players is quite reasonable compared to them chasing Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton even though there was a personal agreement beforehand but the feeling is difficult to force because of the price.
It is undeniable that currently De Ligt is still experiencing problems with performance because at Bayern he seems to have lost in the competition and cannot show his best performance unlike what he showed at Juventus, but with the experience he has I think De Ligt is still good enough to be an addition to the Manchester United defense line, especially with Yoro's injury which was actually very much expected to make a breakthrough in the defense line, but it still cannot be implemented so that De Ligt can fill that position for the next few months and to make a better adventure at the new club.

It seems like Antony is staying for another season.
The words he used are very assertive. He is talking like everything is going to change from now on. I would love to see it. He was playing great at Ajax. But since he signed for the Red Devils, he has been horrible.  Sad

He makes 10 million euros a year without showing a good performance to us. Probably this season is going to be his last chance to recover. Otherwise I believe there is no way he is staying. He shouldn't harm the team any longer.

Yeah! He'll be staying for another bloody season.

I watched the lad during his days with Ajax so I know what capabilities he's got. My problem is that he is always doing the same thing over and over and it doesn't work. I would wonder if he doesn't go back to rewatch his highlights.

Maybe he should be used as a left fullback?  Grin My God, he dislikes being placed down there by Erik ten Hag. There are only a few games he has done well for Manchester United which was his debut game for Manchester United against Arsenal, during the Europa League Competition against Barcelona and Chelsea last season would forever be stucked innit my goddamn head

I don't mind him going, but they shouldn't hesitate to let go of players like Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan Bisakka, Scott MC Tominay and Casemiro.

I mean what would Manchester United do? They brought him in for 95 million. They have to try to make something out of him. This 95 million is going to go to waste. I don’t know if it has already gone to waste, to be honest. Because he definitely did not perform like anything they wanted or expected from him.

And let’s be honest, Antony is always talking like in the next match everything is going to be perfect for him and him alone is going to score a Hattrick from the next time every match. But as time goes on, his performance looks like becoming shittier and shittier. So I don’t trust him even a little. He is the kind of selfish player which I probably haven’t seen playing for a big club like this in my lifetime.

Good news for Man United, they signed combo Bayern Munich defenders.

Matthijs de Ligt (CB) €45m + fee €5m

Finally! I have been waiting for the Red Devils to take a big step for their own good. They have finally done it.  Smiley  While Wan-Bissaka has signed for West Ham, the Mazraoui deal came with a great timing. He is much better than Dalot so I don't expect him to have problems on being a regular starter. Maybe this can push Dalot to play better from now on.

I'm especially happy about finalizing de Ligt agreement. Leny Yoro is out for 3 months so they needed another CB immediately. de Ligt is coming just in time while there is less than a week left for the new season to begin.

Check the statistical image taken from this site:

You can see from the image you presented, Viktor Gyökeres have good goal contributions than Osimhen. Even though Osimhen played less games, but if you take the ratio of the games and the goal scored and assists made, it is an attractive point for any team to be convinced with him.
Yes, of course, especially with the price tag for both of them. Osimhen is overpriced, £113 million ($143m) release clause. With his current condition, you're right, he's overhyped.

There is every reason to say that Anthony hasn’t lived up to his expectations at Manchester United is definitely there, for a player bought at that huge price he should be ranking double figures in both goals and assists every season but with huge disappointment he hasn’t performed to that level of football,
The point is, his performance is that bad. In 2 years, since he was at MU, his value has dropped drastically, from €75.00m to €25.00m now. This is a very bad performance, still holding on? I can't believe Man United regarding Antony and Maguire.

Good news for Man United, they signed combo Bayern Munich defenders.

Adding Antony to the squad at a high price was one of the worst decisions by Manchester United and Ten Hag. This is a bad investment by Manchester United. Ten Hag failed to find suitable players for his squad. Manchester United added Antony to the squad at a cost of 96 million.

I don't know why Antony was added to the squad at such a high cost. Antony's performance was not good with Ajax either. Antony scored only 18 goals in 57 matches for Ajax. However, Antony was bought by Manchester United at a very high price. And Antony scored only 5 goals in 54 matches in Manchester United jersey. This is a very bad result.

Manchester United fans are not happy with Antony. United fans would probably be happier if Antony left the team. However, if Antony wants to leave the team, Manchester United management will not be able to profit by selling Antony. I doubt any club will spend even 50 million for Antony.

There is every reason to say that Anthony hasn’t lived up to his expectations at Manchester United is definitely there, for a player bought at that huge price he should be ranking double figures in both goals and assists every season but with huge disappointment he hasn’t performed to that level of football, but I tell he is a dedicated player who puts in energy even more than the likes of Rashford and Sancho and nobody has bashed Sancho the way they are doing to Anthony and both have high transfer fees.

I also will say Anthony was one of the best in the position before Manchester United signed him, it wasn’t his doing that Manchester just do not know how to buy players then under Woodward or Mourthogh, the player was Ten Hag’s first first choice for that position and the board which would’ve gotten him for as low as $28m then didn’t and went for a panic buy and Ajax too decided to use the opportunity to milk United, so in all of this I don’t see the player’s fault.

I agree that he was fine at Ajax, but he hasn't been that good at United and he hasn't provided anything, and he never found any blame on himself neither, so this year doesn't seem to be changing much. This dude is someone they spent 80+ million on, and can't sell for 30 if they tried right now, or barely 30 maybe, so it proves that he hasn't been worth his money at all. They made stupid moves like that many times, but Antony seems like the worst one without a doubt. I hope that he will finally get it together but I really doubt it.

In Ajax he is good, but in England with Manchester United the condition is reversed even though the coach who made Antony's performance on Ajax with Manchester United was the same person.
In short, in my opinion, this shows that the Premier League level is far better than Eredivisie and confirmed that the Premier League challenges discussed by many people are very challenging.

I feel like Antony having that much confidence in himself isn't really that new, dude has been trusting himself to be a great player for years now and we haven't seen anything marginally changing.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has beaten me into submission. I am now saying confidently that he has a plan.
He must have a plan. It’s just not a plan that maybe aligns with on-the-pitch football but he has a plan. So many Chelsea and other football fans that I know are confused as to what's going on with Chelsea football club.

Transfers are supposed to generate excitement amongst fans. Boehly has taken out all the excitement of transfers from their fans. Is there a chance Chelsea will suffer transfer ban soon and they know it? Could that be why they’re splurging? Ahead of drought?
To be honest, that’s the only logical explanation to this madness they’re up to.
Chelsea is currently a team that is very active in buying players and in fact Chelsea has 45 players in its current squad so compared to other teams in the English league, Chelsea is the team that has the largest squad at the moment, however they are currently still trying to continue searching and recruiting new players in the transfer market, Todd Boehly seems to have very big ambitions in recruiting players but in fact I see that many of the players they recruit do not match the price and performance, many of the new players recruited by Chelsea at this time were bought at expensive prices but In several friendly matches, we actually saw that their players performance was very bad, whether this will happen or not in the future, but maybe we will see Chelsea improve in the next few seasons if they continue to believe in the current squad.

Talking about the possibility of punishment that will occur, of course this could happen to Chelsea if you look at the amount of money they have currently spent in the transfer market while the income they get from selling players is actually very low, but who knows friends, maybe we also can't deny If the team is big, it will be easier for them to escape the punishment they might get in the future as has happened to Manchester City so far.

To be honest, that’s the only logical explanation to this madness they’re up to.

The behavior of Chelsea's management over the last few seasons makes me think Todd Boehly wants results too quickly. Which is very difficult in football. If you want to survive in the long run, and want to do consistently well, then you must improve gradually. A stable and long-term plan should be made. If you want to improve quickly, the chances of decline also increase.

Todd Boehly wanted Chelsea to improve quickly and compete for titles. And this is why we have seen 5/6 coaches sacked by Chelsea management in the last few years. None of the coaches could deliver the results as expected by the Chelsea management, so they were sacked.

But I would say Todd Boehly should be patient. If not, we will not see a better performance from Chelsea next season. Todd Boehly should hire an experienced coach. And he should be given full freedom and big funds to build the squad strong. If not, I don't expect a good performance from Chelsea in the next few years.

Ten Hag then Antony, which are bad decisions from Manchester United and I have very little belief on these men. A coach struggles with his ideas for tactics and player choices, a player who has big problems with playing style and efficient of his performances on field. Manchester United are putting belief on these people and they must see very slim chance to succeed.

Decisions if made with Antony, will cost Manchester United money to pay his salary and time to wait for his performance improvement in a next season. They are making big bets on Ten Hag and Antony with high risk of failure.
I will not blame Antony 100% because it all depends on the quality of the coach and Erik Ten Hag is not good at managing players. Look now at the new players who have been brought in, is there anything surprising? nothing, even next season it seems the club's situation will remain stagnant. Erik Ten Hag seems to have a clear vision but that's just nonsense.

On the other hand, Man United situation is not much different from the Blue clown who has accumulated many unclear players, a collection of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers whose quality is below standard. Cole Palmer will have difficulty getting a suitable partner, Jackson and Nkunku are not the right players. Chelsea management is very bad about player transfers, because all they think about is how to spend a lot of money.
It's disappointing to see that Antony is assuring the fans and the team that he will provide assist and goals for the club and he forget that it is not a one-man action. If he doesn't have a good teammate he won't see any assist or goals to contribute to the team. Football is n longer a one-man squad where one good player in the team will help the team to achieve greatness. It is a collective work and when one space is weak or is lacking the entire team suffers.

Imagine a club with good players and having a worse keeper. Of course, there will be mistakes from his end and he may make them lose in a game even when the players are scoring. I know that Manchester United and Chelsea are going to be different this season after the new signings. The fans should expect improve at least with a little hope.

I don't believe him.  Tongue  We haven't seen anything good from him until now. People aren't criticizing him for fun. It is serious. He hasn't been any use for a team. Manchester United signed him for €95m. Can you imagine?  Shocked  This is one of the most disappointing transfers in club history - together with Maguire of course. They spent around €180m for these 2.

If I were in their place I would do my best to sell him this summer. It wouldn't be too difficult to find a better right winger than him, believe me. There are great talents out there.

First thing that I think the football fans of today need to understand is there is definitely the need to actually demand a lot from the players that play for your club but the way to do that or ask them to play well or let me say play good football should be in a civil way. Anthony himself knows he has been poor and accepting that mistake is a very good and honorable thing to do, he wants the fans to give him more time to redeem himself and most fans are still making a joke out of this. People continue to make reference to the amount he was signed for which wasn’t his fault but the club’s bad negotiation process.

Conor Gallagher's exit has got literally nothing to do with the arrival of Dewsbury -Hall. I can recall how he was pushed and offered to Tottenham Hotspur since last season. They didn't even allow the season come to an end before doing all that, indeed the management of Chelsea sucks completely. He was obviously one of the hardworking players for Chelsea last season. Can't believe all Todd Boehly wanted was profits.

Well, Considering that he'll be playing the Champions League and not the conference cup Competition, I see that as a huge upgrades for him. He's that hardworking player you can count on who brings his mind and energy into the game.

Then it is a big loss for Chelsea. Gallagher is a skilled midfielder obviously. Just because one man wants to make profit by his sale, Chelsea lost an important player.  Sad
It is interesting we are already seeing the flaws of Chelsea from friendly pre-season matches, this will shape the expectations of their supporters to avoid being disappointed by Chelsea's performance when the season finally starts. I have actually seen a lot of their supporters  expressing their displeasure and sign of pessimism about the Blues as they are willing to accept any position they see. In other words, they have already given up on the league before it even started. Indeed, it will take only a miracle for Chelsea to come out top 4 in the league judging from their poor performance in their recent matches.

From what he said above, it seems to me he promised us a big change to happen in himself in the current season. I'm wondering what that change is gonna be. Antony always talked about himself playing better. He failed to meet United fans' expectations. I won't believe it, but it seems that's good enough to give him another tray.
United wasted a lot of money on him. If Antony repeats last season's performance, it would be crazy. United bought him for a very high price. But, let's guess. He'll probably come with a new trick, other than spinning the ball.

I think we will have another meme to come from him soon.

Antony has confirmed that he will stay at Manchester United next season and it seems that many Manchester United fans are not happy with this decision considering his performance and contribution to Manchester United so far, being recruited from Ajax at a high price does not actually make Manchester United get many benefits. from him so far, apart from just being a player who often shows off his passion for spinning balls  Grin, next season will probably be a new season for Anthony to prove his abilities at Manchester United so like it or not he has to work hard to be able to restore his performance to what it was like when he was with Ajax, to be honest, Manchester United in the Ten Hag era has often been in a hurry to recruit and buy players at high prices without prior in-depth analysis before recruiting him,  we can see what is happening with Antonny, Maguire and Onana at the moment is the result of such their reckless recruitment

Adding Antony to the squad at a high price was one of the worst decisions by Manchester United and Ten Hag. This is a bad investment by Manchester United. Ten Hag failed to find suitable players for his squad. Manchester United added Antony to the squad at a cost of 96 million.

Now can we say that Antony is Erik Ten Hag's favorite player? and it seems that was Erik Ten Hag's goal when he recruited many players that he had previously handled. If what I think is true, then I think it's just a matter of waiting for Manchester United's performance to get worse. Because the coach must be professional in determining who will enter the squad, they must eliminate other things such as their closeness to the players.

I really regret that something like this happened and when the supporters respond with disappointment then that is something very natural. Actually I don't have a problem with anything as long as the player can play well, but what Antony showed during his time with Manchester United was not that good. For example, when Ferguson was very close to Ronaldo, but we didn't have a problem with it because Ronaldo could play well and had a big influence on the club, but now the player we are talking about here is in a different situation.

Yes, the positive part for Gallagher is to play in the Champions League instead. I believe in him to be a bigger player in time and increase his value much more. It all depends on fitting to Simeone's system.

Chelsea doesn't know what they are doing this summer. They don't have a roadmap for transfers once again. I don't know how much longer they will continue like this. For now, I don't have big expectations from them for this season.

For Antony to say such words that represents absolute self-confidence, I think he's experienced some levels of improvement since the end of last season and if there's anything he needs at the moment from the Manchester United manager, I also think it's the playing time to actual do the talking on the pitch. Anyone who knows how prolific and creative he was at his former club Ajax will attest to the fact that he's been a shadow of himself since he moved to Manchester United and since he's very confident that he still have what is needed to deliver to his full potentials again, giving him all the support he needs is the best thing that the club can do at this moment
