It is over for Manchester United in the Premier League. The final week matches don't matter for them as they don't have any chance left for top 6.  Sad

However there is still a chance to qualify for the Europa League. But they have to win the FA Cup trophy for that. Does anyone believe in them to do it against Manchester City? To tell the truth, I have near zero faith in them. Because Guardiola is really unstoppable now. I think he will start with winning the Premier League first and then it is going to be the turn of FA Cup.

I'm wondering what Manchester United is planning to do this summer. Will they continue with Erik ten Hag? No matter they do or not, they need to work hard on player signings certainly.

The bookies have spoken:

Odds for the outright winner:

They don't believe Man City will trip in the final game. Especially knowing West Ham have absolutely at stake here. Win or lose, they will finish in the 9th place.
So if anyone still truly believes that Arsenal can win the league, here's a good time to back it up with a wager. I don't.
This is definitely a positive aspect for Manchester City as they will be going up against a relatively less formidable opponent in their last match. If Manchester City's opponent was a strong team in the last match of the Premier League competition, they would have lost the title in the last match. Considering the way they are currently performing and the consistency of their performances, I think Manchester City will win the last Premier League match against West Ham. If Manchester City somehow wins the match against West Ham, Arsenal will have no chance of securing the title this season.

On the other hand, if Manchester City make a mistake, Arsenal will take the chance and take that chance to secure the title this season because Arsenal's next opponent is Everton against whom Arsenal must win in the last match. However, whichever team wins the title, I would definitely be betting on Manchester City in both of these matches, and Arsenal in the other match.

This weekend would determine everything in the premier league, but for the winners I think we already know who that would be, man United has lost their position as 6th for good living the spot for either Chelsea or Newcastle, Chelsea is typing the spot with 3 points but it's also possible they lose their match against Bournemouth, right now I expect all the big teams to take home this last match.

Honestly speaking Chelsea players have really improved they won 4 match in a row, but for me it seems that this their improvement was a bit late for them because if they were be able to perform very well in their past 10 matches like they are performing now I think by now they would have been in 4 or 5 possion in the premier league.
Yes, Chelsea owner seems to have given the manager and players an ultimatum so that they must qualify for any Europa competition, considering Chelsea has spent 494M Euros in this season.
They failed to get any trophy in this season, only the Europa league or Conference league is the only hope left for Chelsea now.

Chelsea could still advance to the two finals. It demonstrated that if a club has potential to compete with the big clubs, but it may take more time to develop the squad considering the blues was starting from the bottom. The decision to reverse Chelsea's pre-season strategy has demonstrated the club's consistency in rebuilding itself and as long as chelsea can keep consistently in doing it and i strongly believe they will able to do that to enter the top clubs competition again.
Pochettino needs to maintain the momentum. Chelsea may be able to enter the conference league as a minimum achievement this season. I'm sure they'll start cooking in the upcoming season.

Pochettino has planned some important things for the summer transfer season. I am hoping Chelsea can bring at least one veteran player to the club in order to help him to develop the young player. It would be fantastic if Chelsea could bring Mbappe to the club, but that appears unlikely caused by mbappe has very expensive price at this time.
Being qualified for the conference league or the Europa League is still preferable to not getting anything this season.

Chelsea has tried everything they can to climb back up. Finishing in the top ten is already a good achievement for Chelsea, as opposed to finishing outside of the top ten last season.

Arsenal's fans are probably hoping that Man City will be eaten by the huge pressure of the game, and that would be the only reason they could possibly not win the game. Having over 50 thousand fans expecting nothing but a win could be intimidating to some clubs, but I don't believe that, at this level, Man City would have players cracking under the pressure.
If anything, they've proven plenty of times this season that the support of their fans has an uplifting effect on the team. They haven't lost a single game at home this season and noted 5 draws at home, but mostly against the teams from the very top. And again, West Ham have nothing at stake other than a rivalry for its own sake.
City not winning is simply not an option.
Handling pressure in the title race has become a common circumstance for Manchester City for the last 7 years. It's Arsenal that feel more pressure in this situation. Their loss against Aston Villa have costed their lead over Manchester City. Arsenal have themself to blame, because competing with Guardiola's Manchester City need a perfect form without dropping points when closing to the ending of the season.

Hoping Manchester City to lose at their home in crucial game is like hoping a miracle to happen. They have quality and mentality to win a game in crucial circumstance, even if they concede first like it happened two season ago in the last game when they competed against Liverpool. Beating West Ham won't be a tough task for Manchester City, and we will just see Manchester City lifting the trophy in the end.

Arsenal fans are hoping Manchester City will lose their last match which is against West Ham, but i how is that even going to be possible, I know premier league is unpredictable, but Manchester City can’t afford to lose a match like this, pep will do everything in his power to make sure that he gets 3 points in the match, I think Arsenal fans should just stop having high hope that they can still win the premier league this season. The match which everyone was thinking will be difficult for Manchester City was their last match against Tottenham, it wasn’t really easy for Manchester City but they were able to score two goals in the match.

Lol, I wonder why still hoping Arsenal has a chance to lift the EPL this season because after that display of City at the Tottenham stadium, where they were behind in passes and everything but still were able to get a 2-0 victory, how much more in front of their own fans for the las match of the season.

All what Arsenal should focus on currently is how they will improve their performance next season, if they can try harder next season, they might be able to win the premier league, but it’s just better they stop thinking Manchester City will lose their last match, I know it’s possible, but I don’t think something like that is going to happen.

A good time to bet if the support is real.

I will go with West Ham to draw in one of my slip and I will play West Ham to win on another slip just to show my support to Arsenal because I don’t want Manchester City to win this League this time.

I will say that you are making a blind support here because you want Arsenal to win badly but emotions doesn't determine the outcome of a match. Deep down, you know well that Manchester united will not allow West ham to disgrace them in Old Stamford bridge but you want them to lose. I'm not even sure if West Ham can do that right now, the bookies that gave them high odd knows they can't but you want to enter their bait but it's cool.

I have said it before, the moment Arsenal loss that match to Aston Villa, they have lost the Premier League trophy right from that moment, you don't do a mistake and then expect another team to make the same mistake you did, you can expect that from other teams but not from Manchester City because they will feast on their last match and nothing will change after for Arsenal.

I have no doubt that Manchester City will win easily against West Ham. Fans will fill the Etihad Stadium for the final match and welcome Manchester City to become champions. I will bet on Manchester City winning because in terms of strength, Manchester City is stronger and also Manchester City dominates the victory when facing West Ham. Of course I know you are an Arsenal fan and of course you will bet on West Ham winning. I hope your decision brings you luck because the opponent West Ham is facing is the strongest team who will play more aggressively to find victory.

So I think Haaland will be able to score goals and bring the EPL trophy for the 4th time in a row. Even though football is always full of surprises, it will be difficult to happen and we know that Pep is a genius coach, he will definitely set the best strategy because one more match they will break record.

It could be that Man City ends in a draw with a score of, for example, 2-2 against West Ham and Arsenal ends with 1-0 against Everton.
this means that the total score obtained by Man City is around 95 scores, while Arsenal only has 90 scores, while both teams have the same points and it is Man City who ends up at the top of the standings because of their superiority in calculating the total score.
so as a bettor you have to really consider this.

I think you got a bit confused about the rules. The first deciding factor that is consider in case both teams have the same points is not the goals scored, but the GOAL DIFFERENCE.
From the Premier League booklet itself:
Quote
If any two or more Clubs have scored the same number of points their position in the League Table shall be determined on goal difference, that is to say, the difference between the total number of goals scored by and against a Club in League Matches in the Competition during that Season (“Goal Difference”), and the higher or
highest placed Club shall be the Club with the higher or highest Goal Difference

But IF two clubs had the same number of points and the same goal difference then the team that scored more goals overall would be ranked higher.

So long story short, if Man City were to lose or draw on Sunday and if Arsenal were to win their game, Arsenal would win the league.

however, Arsenal fans should hope that Arsenal will win the EPL title this season, even though it is clear that Man City will not give up the title this season and will still get 3 points, but we also have to appreciate the surprises that could happen.
this is just speculation from me which doesn't make sense, for example the Man City match ends in a draw and Arsenal can get 3 points from Everton and that means both teams have the same points but it depends on the total scores of the two teams and if these two teams Arsenal can score more big, I think Arsenal deserves to be at the top of the standings because of the advantage of having more scores.
It is very difficult to predict the final result of this season even though it is really clear that Man City can win and get 3 points, but as a bettor you will definitely think about this.

Yes they fought through relegation battle and points deduction and were able to make it to this stage, so they will sure be putting up a hard fight on the last day. West Ham are Arsenal’s fellow Londoners and you know when the hope of your victory is in your hardcore enemy, you know what to expect. Funny enough the repeat of the Tottenham game might play down but this time Man City could win with a 3-1 margin or maybe 4-1 if possible.

So I think Arsenal fans shouldn’t have high hopes because it’s season over already and it’s bizzare to expect City to lose on last day in fromt of her fans who will fill the stadium to cheer the players up. Congratulations can start coming in for Man City and for Arsenal I think they should take this improvement into next season and be very consistent next season and try not to lose as much games as they did this season, who knows they could win the league next season.

Do you remember that QPR match of Manchester City? It was in the 2011/12 season. I don't remember a more exciting moment than that in the Premier League honestly.  Smiley  That goal by Aguero to bring the PL trophy to Manchester City and the phenomenal "Aguerooo!" comment.  Grin

I'd really like to witness a similar exciting incident, but this time we should see Arsenal winning the title.

He should win thr manager of the Premier League Competition this season even if he doesn't win the Premier League Competition. He and his lads deserves whatever they've achieved this season. Let's see what happens when they finally get a natural striker for themselves.

Arteta definitely deserves to given the "Manager of the Season" prize. I respect Guardiola's work too but the thing Arteta has done with this squad is much more valuable.  Smiley

Not vividly, I can remember I did see that game as I was engaged with so much errands, but thanks to the internet we're able to see the that game.
I will love to see Arsenal getting them.own Aguero moments this weekend, they have been so dedicated and hardworking this season. They really deserves it.
Pep Guardiola can go ahead talking and yapping but the officials and VAR has helped them on several occasions this season even when they was wrong. So what's with the delay after the 115 charges against them? Why haven't we seen no point deduction already?

Mikel Arteta has seen his side becoming the best attacking side, the best defending side and with the highest clean sheets same goes with David Raya winning the Golden Glove in his debut season for Arsenal. He really deserves to be called the manager of the season.

Fifth or sixth, Chelsea give hope for next season. Pochettino and all the players must be grateful for Palmer's incredible contribution so far too (22 goals, 10 assists). I'm curious about whether he will get offers this summer and how things will go on after that.

This should be Cole Palmer? Not Mauricio Pochetino, Yes? When they had some of them best players Injured, even when they had Jackson misbehaving with scoring goals, Cole Palmer was there carrying the club on his shoulder and advancing and progressing forward with them. Qualifications for the European Competitions is all they're after, maybe next season they go hard on qualifying for the Champions League Competition.

That's 4 wins in a row for Chelsea, but they've woken up a little bit too late to attack the 5th place. Spurs only need 1 point against Sheffield to secure it.
The good news for Chelsea is that they will still qualify for European cup next season (if they don't lose their 6th place to Newcastle in the last round), it's going to be the least prestigious Conference League, but better than nothing.
BUT, if Man City defeats Man Utd in the FA cup final, then the 6th place will qualify for the Europa League and the 7th for the Conference League, so there's still something to play for for teams currently placed 6th-8th.

I talked about Chelsea last week. Their recent performances have been something to write home about. I don't know what Pochettino did in the last few weeks that revived his team but it's working and he should keep doing that. Who would've taught that Chelsea would finish above United after being the 10th position

Chelsea, who were previously far in the middle of the table but slowly they began to improve and managed to reach competition in the Europa League zone at this time, although a little late but it is only necessary for Chelsea fans to thank their squad who continue to fight without giving up at all, I think if Pochettino can lift Chelsea previous performance like in recent weeks maybe we will still see their hope to be able to compete for a place in the Champions League zone, honestly before I was quite doubtful if Pochettino could bring Chelsea to a better level because the inconsistency of their game so far was the reason they fell in the league.

Palmer seems to be an important factor in Chelsea current resurgence, but I think the mentality and also the foundation that Pochettino is starting to build with the majority of young players certainly gives hope for Chelsea fans for bright prospects in the future, if you look at the majority of Chelsea players who contain young players at this time, it seems that Chelsea is starting to build a long-term project to still be able to compete in the Premier League in the future.

Chelsea have made a really great progress in the recent times if you have noticed. They are most probably finishing the season in top 6 which secures the Conference League ticket as well. Moreover, there is a chance for finishing at the fifth position as well. However it seems like a really low chance. Because I assume Tottenham wouldn't lose their Sheffield game right?  Tongue

For the final match in EPL, Man City will play against West Ham and Arsenal will face Everton. Both Man City and Arsenal will play at their home stadiums. So, we can assume both Man City and Arsenal will have the same chance to win the match. However, if we consider the stats of their opponents, Everton looks more tough because they have good stats in the last 5 matches. Meanwhile for West Ham, it is very unlikely to see them beating Man City since they performed badly recently. According the stats, it is clear that Man City will have a better chance to win EPL trophy. You're right, Man City will celebrate their dramatic championship for this season. It is very unfortunate for Arsenal that they failed again to win EPL trophy. Arsenal must take a big lesson that they must play more consistently, they don't waste too many points again in the next season.
I would assume that City will win the game, it is not going to be a team that could be too difficult to win for them, considering Tottenham game went very scary, I am sensing that this one will be easier. But in a scenario where City somehow drops points in that game, and Arsenal ends up getting the win, and become the champions, we are going to see celebrations we haven't seen in a long time.

To be fair, if City ends up being the champions, which 99% chance that they will be, how happy do you think Manchester fans will be? Considering they already won three in a row, and they even did the treble last year, getting the title this year isn't really that much of a big deal for them, doesn't feel like it would be all that great for them neither. Whereas Arsenal fans would go mad if they somehow get it.
