Osimhen is not bad for a center forward, especially if Arteta really needs a target man in his squad. Arteta probably learned a lot from Manchester City where Pep Guardiola really made Haaland a hugely successful target man. Haaland contributed a lot of goals and has been the Premier League's top scorer in the last two seasons, so a change in game scheme is not always considered a bad thing.

Imagine if Osimhen really came to Arsenal and became a productive striker there from the first season, wouldn't that make the top scorer competition even better? I expect that from Arsenal, but in no way do I mean to belittle any of the players the management is trying to bring in.

Chelsea is still looking for very young centre-forwards instead of going for more credible ones. What is this insist on Omorodion guy for? I mean he might be talented but is there really a need to pay probably at least €35-40m for him?  

I understand the reason why they have given up on Osimhen target. Basically every team speculated to be interested in him have given up already. Because you know Napoli wants a ridiculous sum for him.    But there are still good players out there to consolidate Chelsea attacking line. Aren't they fed up with Jackson's wasting a lot of goal chances? There is Nkunku too but he isn't playing there mainly and he gets injured quite often.

It's up to Arsenal who they want to bring in as their striker for next season, but in conclusion I just think Arsenal doesn't lack strikers, but rather lacks a winning mentality. This is a problem that Arteta really needs to fix next season if he wants to lead Arsenal to the title and stop Manchester City's dominance, but if not then Manchester City will continue to progress and defend their title.

Arsenal is the second team with the most goals scored after Manchester City last season. They recorded 91 goals in 38 matches or a difference of 5 goals from Manchester City's total goals. Meanwhile Arsenal was the team with the strongest defense last season where they only conceded 29 goals in 38 matches. So it's true that Arsenal just need to get a good mentality when under pressure, especially when they are leading the standings.

I also think that Osimhen will adapt to Arsenal's style of play but it will take him some time because possession football is not easy, and Osimhen is used to counter attack football which looks easy for him, but Arsenal's pattern will give him more goals if he adapt to them because they finish the work before given the ball out to the striker.

Arteta's team is well built and are fully prepared for nest season dspite not having a reliable striker in their squad yet. Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus both score goals in the pre-season matches, Havertz even scored and assisted in their last match against Leverkusen and he won the man of the match but fans cannot completely rely on him because they have seen how last season ended.

We saw last match of  Liverpool team and Manchester United  team. We saw result of that match in the side of Liverpool team. LLiverpool played struggled good in this match and won the match by high margin. The players defense was also good and we saw excellent defense in last match and when Liverpool team attacked on Manchester United  team ,we enjoyed that match. Manchester United  team looked helpless in this match because players were under confident and could not play with open legs and shots of Manchester United team were not on target. The possession percentage of Liverpool was also good and  they gave more passes as comparison to Man United team. Man United team should work on their skills and they should make changes in the team because they are repeating the same mistakes again and again and In International matches these mistakes could damage the team.

Talking about Arsenal's style of play and if Victor Osimhen will fit in the striker's role of the club, I think you're right with your analysis. Arsenal builds their attacks from the back before heading forward which makes it easier for any attacker in the team to score goals but I still feel that Victor Osimhen can still adapt if he's signed to the club. Arsenal last season failed to win the English Premier League title because they never had a striker that could score at least 20 league goals and that's what a striker like Victor Osimhen can do. They really need a sharp no.8 striker that can create chances out of nothing and score goals when least expected and that's what Osimhen can do.
Convincingly beating Bayer Leverkusen yesterday in their preseason friendly game doesn't necessarily mean that Arsenal is ready for next season. It's just a friendly game and you don't judge a team's strength in that kind of game.

I would also support Gyökeres signing more than Osimhen. Before anything else, there is a huge cost gap. Even if Arsenal doesn't have any other choice than buying out Gyökeres' release clause, it is 100 million euros.

I mean he would still cost Arsenal much less where Napoli wants 130 million for Osimhen. But I think Arsenal would find a way to convince Sporting for a more sensible price. Especially if they convince the player first, things might be easier. 

Arsenal already has a great squad. But they want to complete it with a solid striker and a decent midfielder if possible. That's why Mikel Merino is also a target for them.

So far, Arsenal are still showing their sharpness in pre-season matches, including players like Jesus who managed to score goals, but in my opinion, pre-season matches and official matches will be very different so Arsenal cannot expect Jesus to show good perform in next season, to undergo tight competition next season of course Arsenal must bring in a striker who has a sharper goal-scoring instinct, whether it is Osimhen or Gyokeres.
Whoever is the striker recruited by Arsenal next season, of course I hope that this striker will make a big contribution to the game and also the sharpness of Arsenal front line next season to helo arsenal competete with manchester city.
The playing style of each team and a new player will be different, so the coach must be able to make the new players adapt well so that they can blend in with the playing style applied by the team, because after all the players must be able to master the game scheme implemented by the team and not vice versa.

Although that Osimhen is not the type of player that Arsenal need due to the pattern of the game is playing, but for me that is not a enough reason because even the currently players that are playing for Arsenal now this is not how they played in their precious teams, but since the time they where signed by Arsenal with in fews day there now play the same pattter with the old player’s. So in my view against Osimhen I think it can also did the same thing after him have signed to Arsenal it can also change the method of him playing.

Bayern Leverkusen facing a lot of challenges yesterday against Arsenal they think arsenal is like the other teams that face last season when they keep remain unbeaten, but arsenal has showed them that they’re not capable to compete with them; off course with the kind of performance they display yesterday against Bayern Leverkusen it’s proved that, Arsenal have fully prepared to bring positive changes for incoming season.

Arsenal last season was able to provide very tight resistance to Manchester City and even the competition to win the championship trophy lasted until the end of the season so it shows the many improvements that have occurred at Arsenal in this last season, but even so, Arsenal still has quite visible shortcomings, namely a lack of sharpness. the strikers they have, currently Arsenal have been linked with several strikers but so far there has been no movement made by Arsenal to recruit them, I personally agree with all of you that Gyokeres is a more suitable player for Arsenal to recruit in terms of his style of play compared to Osimhen who is often Just as a target man on the front line, Gyokeres is a striker who is considered an explorer because of his penchant for finding and picking up the ball from midfield and is different from Osimhen who often prefers to waiting the ball in pinalti box, so I also think that Gyokeres will be better able to adapt to the scheme. Arsenal game has often which built attacks from the bottom line so far.

if arsenal can go beyond the pre seasonal victories and start off the season on a good note, then it will be a challenging season for man city to defend the EPL title yet again. From what they played against Bayern Leverkusen, it was absolutely brilliant and great to see them defeating a team that was almost invincible throughout last season. They obviously need a good attacker but if osimehn is the right man for the job is what I'm not sure of. Apart from his consistent injuries and his pattern of play that's not what's suitable for the EPL, his hunger and enthusiasm as an attacker if used the right way could be all that arsenals needs to lay thier hands on the premier league title for the first time. I believe the coach understands that once they have a strong attacker in the team, the burden on most of the wingers will reduce and the team will become super strong and tough to be played against. Since most teams in the EPL are struggling in one way or the other and man city is still doing very well even in the preseason, the only team that we can bank on as one that can challenge them this season is arsenal and more than any other top team in the epl, arsenal is the one thing whose challenge this season is the toughest. When others can get to the second, or fourth position on the table and still be happy with her performance, the only thing arsenal needs is win the EPL title and nothing less.

I think it depends on what the Manager and the Board are looking at.
If you look at their attacking stats last season, it is easy to conclude that Arsenal don’t need a striker. They were scoring goals for fun. But if you look deeply at the games and the moments that they didn’t capitalize on, you’ll see that despite all the goals they weren’t clinical enough.
Honestly it’ll be hard to win the league title with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus as strikers. I’m not saying they can't win with them but the odds are almost astronomical.
Arteta should a quality Striker,  and stop the obsession with modeling them after Manchester City. The need for a Striker became glaring at the tail end of last season, especially in the Champions League.

I really do share the same sentiment as you bro, it's a very big shame that they would be letting someone as good and hardworking as Conor Gallagher leaves the club, all in the name of wanting a youthful set up at the club, seriously am really not happy with the kind of terrible decisions that the owners of Chelsea Todd boehly and co are making at the club, they are just busy destroying the club that Roman abrahimovic use years to build, look at the kind of players they are bringing into the club, players that isn't good enough to play for the club and added with the fact that they are mostly immature players, and sincerely speaking, I don't see this Chelsea team winning anything tangible in the next seven to eight seasons, unless their is a major change of transfer policies at the club, if not, they will successfully establish themselves as a mid table team.

Connor is already at Atletico Madrid. Surprisingly, Alvarez is also following him to join Atletico Madrid. Selling Gallagher is to give Chelsea full profit upfront. But, it saddens me that Chelsea lost a hard-working midfielder. I can't really imagine what's going to happen with Chelsea in the current season.
I can't say that's good for Chelsea. Gallagher was one of the most helpful players last season.


The decision to sell him was totally wrong, and Chelsea did another mistake. More good player is leaving from Chelsea which is not good. It slowly but surely Chelsea really is losing the soul of the club after it's acquired by Todd Boehly and co.
I'd rather call that signing Jorgensen pushed the club to sell Gallagher, which is not a worthy trade.

In the last few seasons we have seen that Liverpool have only sold their players but on the contrary they have not bought any players. Mohamed Salah is Liverpool's best player no doubt but there are rumors of this player leaving the club although this rumor is not new we saw in the transfer window last season there were many positive hints about this player leaving the club but in the end he stayed at Liverpool. There have been reports in the media that Liverpool will let him go this season, although these are rumours.  But before a deal is done, there are rumors and then the deal is done. 

If Mohamed Salah leaves Liverpool and goes to another club, Liverpool's forward lineup will be very weak and it will be a challenge for the manager to do well in Premier League or Champions League with this weak lineup. The transfer window is still open and if Mohamed Salah does indeed leave the club, we will definitely be waiting to see who will come to Liverpool next.

Arsenal looks very sharp, and you are right. Osimhen is not the type of player we need in Arsenal because the way he plays and the kind of method he gets used to is something different from what we used in Arsenal. However, I'm expecting to be at the top and even get a trophy in the coming season that will start in the next few days because what they displayed against the Bayern Bundesliga today makes me believe that Arsenal is fully ready for incoming season competition. Looking forward to seeing them at the top of the table

Of course, the management will determine their best choice to bring in a new striker this season. Moreover, Arsenal really need a quality striker for this season because there are many rumors circulating that Nketiah will leave this season, so they are moving quickly to recruit a new striker. Of course, both Osimhen and Gyökeres have equally good qualities, but in this situation one of them will definitely be the main target to resolved. 

For Arteta, he also praised Osimhen's good performance in the last two seasons, however, in this transfer saga, Napoli still set a fairly high price. Therefore, I doubt that Arsenal will spend a lot of money if they want to recruit a striker from Nigeria. Also the competition for Osimhen is very difficult because PSG is also strongly linked with this Napoli star.

I would prefer Arsenal to sign Viktor Gyökeres over Osimhen because our(Arsenal) style of football will not be comfortable for Vitor Osimhen because he is not used to possession football.

Arsenal are trying to satisfy their fans because many of us have been complaining about a reliable striker and the lack of a reliable striker is the main reason we failed to win the League in the last two seasons if not we had a wonderful season.

All players looks very sharp and well prepared as we have seen in their display in our third club friendly match against the Bundesliga's defensive champion Bayern Leverkusen. The match was an interesting one to see, a great display from the players and the must amazing thing in today's match was the warm welcome for the Arsenal former midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Conor Gallagher's exit has got literally nothing to do with the arrival of Dewsbury -Hall. I can recall how he was pushed and offered to Tottenham Hotspur since last season. They didn't even allow the season come to an end before doing all that, indeed the management of Chelsea sucks completely. He was obviously one of the hardworking players for Chelsea last season. Can't believe all Todd Boehly wanted was profits.

Well, Considering that he'll be playing the Champions League and not the conference cup Competition, I see that as a huge upgrades for him. He's that hardworking player you can count on who brings his mind and energy into the game.

I'm no Chelsea fans bit I could see the disrespect directed towards the home grown academy players. Todd Boehly might be a good business man no arguments but this is football. You should know who to keep and leave. Disappointing!! Goodluck to him ahead.

for the past two season now arsenal have been doing a great job and am actually very impressed with what have been going on, and arteta have been trying to build arsenal for the past two season now and i think the strategy of reviving arsenal will actually be a go one, because for some time arsenal was rusty, and arteta is not doing bad at all at some point i was not satisfied but now i think is doing better than other clubs and now we have signed another defender we need to also sign another player to strike for us because one of the things weighing us down is that saka is not getting enough support that he actually deserves, if saka was getting enough support things would have gotten better than it as been because, i want this season to be different for arsenal.

Now one expected arsenal to have improved this way they did because the only challenge i feel that even Manchester city have is arsenal they are always scared of arsenal even this last season we were close to winning the trophy, we need a center striker and arteta should be taking not because the season will soon commence any moment from now because we need to be fully ready before the commencement of the next season, the moment we are able to sign another striker then we have a better chance of winning the EPL, Gabriel Jesus is also trying but at this point we want more. i don't even know if arteta have any player in mind, If he as in mind then he should start making moves we don't have time.
