The question should be whether Mikel Arteta has lost confidence in his strikers and has resorted to using wingers as a usual or the strikers on their own have lost form. I remember when Jesus Gabriel was in good form, he used him also for every match even when there was a striker like Nkeitah. Arteta just sticks to what works for him for a very long time.

It seems that the burden for Arteta is still very large and they are slowly getting out of the way of the current competition.

Honestly, I find it quite strange that their scheme is 4-4-2 rather than 4-3-3 when until now Saka's role as a winger was much better than being kept as an attacking midfielder. In addition, they also have a midfield that is not very good although their individual skills cannot be doubted but in the end we can see their ball flow is not going very well in this match which makes them seem to lose motivation in attack even though they dominate the game.

Comprehensive improvements must be made now although it is undeniable that the reason for the players' senses and the tight schedule conditions made them lose the stability of their performance but for a big team with good expectations at the beginning of course this is not too good for Arsenal.

For some reason Newcastle continues to be a thorn in Arsenals a*** and there is nothing they can do about it...currently Newcastle leads the gunners by one goal to nil with less than 20 minutes  to go and continue to show signs of potentially getting the second goal which will be bad for the title challenge...

Personally I think Arsenal losing this afternoon could be a case of tired legs and mental fatigue which Arteta needs to manage if they are going to be considered title challengers!!!
I was surprised to see Newcastle for a wonderful performance today, it remain little I would have loss today, because I wanted to stake the match against Newcastle losing but out something changed my narrative to stake, it was out of surprised I saw arsenal losing, to the extent that Newcastle defend their one  goal properly and arsenal couldn't equalise, its unbelievable, shall it's a game anything can happen, even Brighton scored Liverpool at 14 minutes with serious pressure that upset me to quit from watching the match, but at end I saw that Liverpool won Brighton 1:2 so it's a game it's unpredictable shall.

It's Arsenal who played awfully in this game. They have 0.00 xG, which completely explains how crap their attackers are. They always pass the ball to their wingers. Their opponents predicted it. I also rarely see them attacking more centrally; this is probably due to losing Odegaard. The problem is that only Odegaard could provide a line-breaking pass. When they missed him, they had no clue what to do.  They have no good backup at Odegaard's level.

It seems like Mikel Arteta’s luck has finally run out. You cannot continue to depend on your wingers to give you goals, I said it before that Arsenal will regret not signing Victor Osimhen or any other natural number 9 to fuel their attack. Arsenal were nonchalant in the transfer window and they are now seeing the consequences. This defeat to Newcastle has taken Arsenal off the title race, this season is now between Liverpool and Manchester City.

In the match against Newcastle United, I believed that Arteta made the wrong choices in formation and in starting 11. I don't believe that G.Jesus is so down that he cannot start as a natural 9 and I also do not believe that Sterling who has the ability to run and commit defenders doesn't deserve a start. Although it all boils down to the coaches choice.

We can't use the past results of Chelsea vs. Manchester United to predict the upcoming game. Things have been changing a lot. I know, Manchester United always did well against the blues at Old Trafford. But statistically, Chelsea is well prepared than them.

that's enough to assume if Chelsea is a bit better than Manchester United at this moment. Importantly, Chelsea has had fewer injuries than Manchester United. So, I'm optimistic Chelsea will win soon. In Maresca we trust!

It's obvious that you're a Chelsea fan hence your assertions becoming more favorable on Chelsea than the Manchester United guys. If you had mentioned this opinions couple of weeks ago before the recent change in the coach of the club, I would have most likely agreed with you, but right now, the dynamics have changed and after the exit of Ten Hag, Van Nistelrooy have tried to reform the team within the shortest time available as the team now seems to be more standardized and stable now.

Newcastle is one team that every top club should avoid not never to underrate last season they were far from their best after having a spectacular season before it and many thinkb they were one season wonder then but I kept looking into the team and what I saw was that the club had many injury crisis which has been their biggest obstacle for over more than two seasons now, if you look properly they didn’t start this season too very strongly but going to that Chelsea match they had many players back with the likes of Isak back and banging goals. So to it is the 2022/23 Newcastle we are currently going to experience from now on.

Arsenal on the other hand have seriously been poor just one point from a possible nine with losses to Bournemouth and Newcastle now, they definitely need a creative midfielder against this low block teams and we can’t deny that they miss their captain Odegaard dearly.

Lucky for Arsenal today Manchester city lost meaning no invincible for any team this season and their status as the only club to have done it remains intact

I think in a match, strategy, performance, consistency and team spirit are very important to win a match, and the defeat Arsenal suffered today was not because Arteta luck ran out, but because the strategy, performance and team spirit shown by Newcastle was much better than Arsenal, We can see how the strategy used by Eddie Howe was able to break up every Arsenal attack and make them lose their concentration, as the Newcastle players continued to press every time the Arsenal players had the ball, making the Arsenal players often make wrong passes and also often lose the ball in the match, I see if the main focus of Newcastle game in this match was in the midfield and also in their defence, so Arsenal found it very difficult to score throughout the match.

I think the results of today Premier League matches are quite surprising for us, Arsenal lost from Newcastle, Manchester City also suffered a defeat against Bournemouth and an incredible comeback has been shown by Liverpool today against Brighton, besides that we can see how Nottingham Forest won against West Ham and temporarily made them 3rd in the Premier League standings  Grin.

The legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson will always be remembered. Since his departure, Manchester United has had several managers, including Jose Mourinho, all of whom were expected to reclaim the club’s top spot in the EPL. Now, with Ruben Amorim poised to become the next Manchester United coach, he should focus on pushing players out of the mediocrity they have been accustomed to in the last two years. The mentality of the players need to change, and I believe the new manager will be able to do just that.

Since Erik ten Hag didn't work, I will go back to supporting and backing the new manager just like I did with Erik ten Hag. Don't forget this is the same way they praised Erik ten Hag when he came in and performed during his first season, change is good and I hope to see that the seventh manager for Manchester United in ten years finally gets it right. Players like Casemiro, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans,  Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Antony are most likely to leave the club within the next two transfer window. This could be due to high payrolls, age and also poor performance so far.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹

We have seen the first feature of the matches which was against Arsenal versus Newcastle. Little did we know that Newcastle was going to win Arsenal, irrespective of the fact that the goal was scored early enough as early as 12 minutes into the game, Newcastle was able to maintain the lead till 90 minutes. It was a big blow to Arsenal who is a major contender to the English Premier League title this seasonn. If Arsenal records such a poor performance again, their chances of winning the English Premier League might be ruined totally.

In the same vein, Liverpool has started it with Brighton. Brighton is currently leading Liverpool and before we know it it is the end of the match, both Arsenal and Liverpool withdraw points leaving all of us at the mercy of Manchester city.

After reading the many praises given to Man United and also the pride of Ten Hag dismissal which gave a positive result in yesterday's match, do you have confidence in the upcoming match that Man United can win against Chelsea? Even the bookmakers give the same odds between MU and Chelsea. Do you have a prediction in this match?

Manchester United is one of the top clubs in English football. Historically, it has been difficult for Chelsea to secure wins against them. I'm not surprised that bookmakers are offering similar odds, considering the fierce history between the two clubs. I believe Manchester United will have a slight advantage over Chelsea, especially as the players will be motivated to win for their interim manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy and secure their spot in the team.

I agree with you a lot has really changed,  When I look at the game today and the odd which is given, It's a very hard game to take side considering the fact that Manchester United is at home soil, Ten Hag no longer in charge, and even on Chelsea's side they no longer have their old boss, new manager in charge, Obviously we are going to see a different ball game, but I kind of think both teams may likely Lockhorns.

It's Arsenal's mentality. They lack the depth to challenge for the title. They are getting thrashed due to one player's injury. They're only a midtable team that gets carried by Odegaard, and when they lose him, they finish. They were falling apart when the second things don’t go their way.

Arsenal have many advantages this season. Manchester City are without Rodri and KDB for months due to injuries. Liverpool have a new coach. Arsenal, however, missed three points and bowed out of the title race.

Arsenal is finished this season, and look at that, look at how they're only making one shot on target in this game. They're done now.

I think Amorim is a good appointment for United but they have been employing different managers for 10 years since Ferguson and failed. Mourinho, LVG, Ten Hag are all multiple title winners but haven’t been great for Man Utd.

Can Amorim return them to their former glories? I have my doubts but like the others before him, he will be backed in the transfer market.
Manchester United have hired and fired several managers at their club in the last few seasons for success but none of the managers have achieved anything good for Manchester United. Recently Manchester United sacked Ten Hag although the manager was given enough time to prove himself before the sacking but even after that time the manager was never able to do anything good for Manchester United.

Now there are many rumors about who will be the next manager of Manchester United and many names of managers are coming in all these rumors but in the end it is certain which manager will take over the responsibility of Manchester United but no news has been received. Whoever takes charge of Manchester United will first try to groom the team and then prepare the team for the big matches.
It is true Manchester United have hired and fired several managers over the past few seasons in pursuit of the success they once had under Sir Alex Ferguson but claiming that none of these managers have achieved anything is inaccurate. For example, Jose Mourinho won the Europa League and helped raise their standards to some extent. It is possible Mourinho could have achieved more in United if the club hierarchy gave him the needed support. It’s also on record that Erik Ten Hag won two trophies in his first two years at United, which is an impressive record.

Manchester United identity has changed completely since Alex Ferguson decided to retire in 2013. Eight managers (three of them interim managers) have been chosen as Ferguson's successors, but all of them ended in failure, including Mourinho who managed to deliver the Europa League and FA Cup titles. Now Rúben Amorim is trying his luck at Old Trafford, he will make his debut on November 24 against Ipswich Town. MU contracted him until June 2027, they also had to pay €10 million as his release clause from Sporting.
Sir Alex Ferguson is the past and the past is only a story. What is important is the present and the future.
A series of names of coaches after Sir Alex Ferguson can indeed be considered to have failed in achieving the desired targets. For me, when the shadow of the past story is always a benchmark, then it is burdensome for the coach's psychology.

Ruben Amorim could be one of the coaches who will be challenged to reap success at Old Trafford, I hope so, but I doubt it and it is likely that his fate will be the same if the past story continues to be used as a target. It's okay, but it has to be realistic.

Update on tomorrow games lineups in the premier league Asernal, Manchester city and Liverpool are all on the line up tomorrow and if we take into account last week games outcome and how this club's played against other smaller club but with with stive resistance from those clubs, this can possibly be another weekend that will be full of surprises for this club's if care is not taking.

Although Liverpool topping the league table right now is going to be a motivation for them when playing against Brighton tomorrow, so for a bet I can give Liverpool a straight winning in the match tomorrow.

Today's match is going to be tough especially, the game of Arsenal against Newcastle, Newcastle has been a tough opponent this season and if we look at their last match against Chelsea we will know that they are a very strong team, although the league that Newcastle defeat Chelsea is not Premier League but defeat is always a defeat and from the performance we all see that Newcastle is a strong opponent, Newcastle is going to pay in their home which will make them feel comfortable when playing against Arsenal. Newcastle is going to be strong because they are playing in their home but no matter how strong they are Arsenal will make sure they have a point in the game, the Arsenal team played well in their last matches against Liverpool showing that they can still fight for the league title.

The next game that I think will be tough is the game of Manchester City against Bournemouth, Bournemouth is not that strong a team when they play in their opponent's home but when they play in their stadium they look very strong and they don't allow the opponents to score a goal and Manchester City team is not complete because many of their key players are injured and we can see that in last matches.
In the last match against Liverpool, Arsenal did their very best and although they ended the match with a draw, am sure the would bounce back from that result in today's fixture against Newcastle United.
With a goal up for Newcastle United, am sure that Arteta would try to change his 4-4-2 formation to 4-3-3 and make the best change to the attack inorder to secure a win or draw. Tomiyasu and Odegaard's injury is a big blow in the defense line up and attacking build up and with the presence of G.Jesus in the bench hoping to come in as a substitute, the chance for him playing well is slim and we just have to hope that Saka does his run and delivers a magic goal to claim the victory.

In the game between Newcastle vs Arsenal... Newcastle has taken the lead with one goal in just 12 minutes of play from a  smart header shot from Alexander Isak assisted by Gordon. In the mean time Newcastle appears to be comfortable in this game probably due to a home advantage and the fans cheering happily.

This is not a game Arteta would avoid to lose as it going to affect Arsenal's position on the top four. Am hoping arsenal will level the scores before the game goes to half time break.

This early kick-off between Newcastle united and Arsenal is going to be a though match for both teams because looking at their present performances now in the premier league I don't really think that Arsenal would be able to get a win against Newcastle united in this game, and even though Newcastle united is playing at their home ground. However looking at their present form I think the both teams are equal to the task. However, I think the game is going to be a 0-0 draw or at worst a 1-1 draw at the blast of finally whistle.

Yes, what Manchester United is doing now is trying to repeat past successes like those achieved in the Alex Ferguson era, but their efforts continue to fail. It must be admitted, it is very difficult for any coach to repeat the success that Ferguson achieved in the past. Ruben Amorim job at Manchester United is not as easy as when he was in charge of Sporting, he has to start something that was destroyed with Ten Hag, plus the competition in the EPL is very competitive. A squad overhaul might happen after he starts his stint there, I think the Management should give Amorim time and support to show his worth.

Manchester United has made several coach changes to be able to achieve success like the Ferguson era, but in fact none of these coaches have been able to do it so far, Amorim is a coach who has great potential if we look at his experience and also his ability to train so far, but setting the success of the Ferguson era as a benchmark of success of course he will not be able to achieve or match it, Ferguson has done a lot and made tremendous contributions to Manchester United over the years and surpassing all his legacy will of course be impossible for any coach today, I think the current Manchester United fans and management should not set the standard of Ferguson success for Amorim  because precisely it will only burden him and the squad, so in the end it will make him fail in building a better Manchester United later.
