On this match week, there is a Manchester United v Tottenham match. What are your thoughts on it? Do you think Erik ten Hag will be one step closer to getting sacked?  Huh

After this terrible start to the season, I really can't predict his future here. Jim Ratcliffe wanted to give him another chance but there is still no improvement. Tottenham are a really tough opponent. Even though they are in a similar situation, they are still a big challenge for ten Hag's team. To tell the truth, my choice for bets would be both teams to score. I wouldn't bet on a side.  Grin
They just played a draw against Twente which means MU's performance is still not stable yet, Erik ten Hag must need strategy improvement to win the match on Old Trafford.  they haven't been able to find their best game plan like when destroyed 7-0 Barnsley on the league cup. We don't know what happen with them, even they were spent a lot of money in the transfer market, but their performance is the same like they don't have bought any new players. Both have the same record on Premier League which has 2 win, 2 lost and 1 draw on premier league, but Tottenham is better than MU on the last 2 matches. The spurs was able to create the winning on the last 2 match, and able to beat Coventry city away from home. I think draw is possible, but if MU's performance doesn't improve yet, Tottenham is possible to win the match with 1 goal difference.

Slightly off-top as this is not a Premier league game, but Man City noted another win yesterday against Watford at home in the EFL cup 3rd round match, winning 2-1.
Not a spectacular win, looking only at the score, but City has created a lot of chances and Watford was lucky to only lose 2 goals. Guardiola let some first squad players to take a rest and gave the bench a chance, which was a good move.
There are not many teams that can compete against Manchester City. IMO Manchester City games are boring because their opponents have resigned their minds to play for at best a draw. I’m surprised you talked about the EFL and only mentioned Manchester City’s win. I think Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Bolton is more current and should be talked about.

Arsenal's main and only task in the second half was to fend off Manchester City's attacks. In the second half Arsenal players did not make any attempt to score.

Obviously they hope to make a Chinese wall in front of the goal. Another key is Man City's patience, They patiently continue to play the ball. So that Arsenal's great wall finally collapsed. This is also due to Arsenal playing with 10 men. I think Trossard's second yellow card was correct. He elbowed a Man City player on purpose. This condition makes Arsenal pile up players in front of the goal. Arsenal hopes to maintain the final result with a victory. But it was broken and 1 point I think it was very good for Arsenal.

Previously we saw that the match was quite aggressive from both teams even though in that match Manchester City was able to dominate a little over Arsenal, but Arsenal which got strong pressure from Manchester City, they were still able to rely on counterattacks to trouble Manchester City defense, the two teams continued to take turns attacking each other and that gave us an interesting spectacle in first half,  but after Arsenal got a red card and took a 2-1 lead over Manchester City then we see how Arteta instructed his players to defend completely in the second half ans make the match very boring to watch, outnumbered numbers player clearly forced Arteta to defend completely in the match to secure their victory, but unfortunately for Arsenal who since the start of the second half were able to maintain the advantage, precisely in the last minute they had to concede and force the match to end in a 2-2 draw.

In the match of Arsenal vs Manchester City we saw only dominance of Manchester City. Arsenal are very lucky in this match to secure 1 point from the match. If you compare the overall gameplay of the two teams, Arsenal will be far behind.

Arsenal played well in the first half of the match. They did not play defensively in the first half. Even after Manchester City scored the first goal of the match, Arsenal were leading 2–1 at the end of the first half. But Trossard's red card changed the entire scenario of the match. Arsenal's main and only task in the second half was to fend off Manchester City's attacks. In the second half Arsenal players did not make any attempt to score.

What has the celebration of Alejandro Garnacho got to do with Erik Ten Hag? C'mon man, do better!! Erik Ten Hag has never done such a thing truthfully.
Pay attention to the images below and they're big chances missed by clubs isn the Premier League Competition ( Man United players not doing badly, they just need to be clinical with them finishing ).

Yes yes, I understand , but Ten Hag doesn't make it so obvious, let's remember everything that happened with CR7 , and I saw all that in several places, although things may be as you say, personally I do have a lot of ideas about Ten Hag because he has shown it and he doesn't like it when he is Exposed , however it is only with him , the MU is for me still a very good club , but they have to get what they have from the true Red Devils, at least from the times when there was the Ferguson era , with that great team that were scary , now the MU is not Scary , they see it as a team that they can take the points from , and it is not because of its players because they have a great squad , it is because of its Direction , it is so that at this point they are Placed in 1st or 2nd fighting side by side with City.

This clearly shows how City was only playing half the field against Arsenal. They struggled to break their opponent's defense. This is because their opponent did park the bus. It's even forcing Pep to sub some key players to equalize. They have been so awful since Haaland scored their first goal.
I was disappointed that they couldn't get the three points. But, I take the joy of them equalizing the scores in the last minute.
I don't think City played badly in that game. Arsenal really had a solid defense in that game. It was amazing when they were able to hold City to a draw even though they had to play with 10 men. I can't imagine how Arsenal would have performed if they played with 11 men. I think Arsenal would have been able to get the win if they had played with 11 men. A draw seems fair for both teams. Arsenal are strong contenders to win the EPL even though they have been unlucky for two seasons in a row.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed in City's game this weekend.
With this much of a dominance:

With home advantage and one-player advantage for the entire 2nd half, you'd expect nothing less than 3 points.
Oh well, it could've been much worse if not for the super-late equaliser by Stones.
At least Haaland has proven he can also score in big games. He's now leading as the top scorer with 10 goals, which is 5 more than 2nd place.
Manchester City who took the lead first in the match actually appeared very dominant and if the opponent they were facing was not Arsenal, of course with the dominance statistics and also the shots they did maybe they would have won big in the match, the total defensive game implemented by Arsenal really frustrated manchester city players and even Guardiola had to lot make substitutions to increase the intensity of their attack in the match, the superior number of players in the match should have given them an advantage to win the match but at least Stone goal in the final minute could have prevented them from losing for the first time this season.

Last season he failed to score a goal against Arsenal after being closely guarded by saliba, but luckily in yesterday match Haaland was able to escape from Gabriel and saliba guard and score 1 goal after they were too late in anticipating Haland's movements, so far Haaland has recorded 10 goals in the Premier League and an additional 1 goal against. Arsenal made it equal to Ronaldo's record as the fastest goalscorer with 100 goals in 105 matches.

Liverpool are currently at the top of the points table although I think Manchester City have enough to do to win the title this season. We have seen Liverpool win Bournemouth game with Liverpool and they have added points from that win to top the points table. Anyway Manchester City is going to face Arsenal today, these two teams are very strong in EPL, I think Manchester City will win this match today. Manchester City is much stronger than Arsenal now and they perform well in every match so I think Man City will win this match today.
Surely you haven't forgotten what happened in the Premier League last season. Liverpool held the top position of the points table until almost midway through the previous season and we discussed Liverpool to win the Premier League title last season but they had a poor performance towards the end which meant they could not finish the season in a good position in the points table. Liverpool have started this season in a similar fashion but there are doubts whether they will be able to sustain their good form in the end. Arsenal and Manchester City are in tough competition with each team so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a tough competition between Manchester City and Arsenal towards the end of the season.
Liverpool was very tough last season too and it the last season they beat Manchester United 6-0. And the two clubs that are always at the top is Liverpool and Arsenal. These two clubs play tremendously every season. For predicting Manchester City to win this season is like an illusion because they can't and if you look at it very well, this season in EPL is more stronger than last season because the clubs that were not performing well in the last season are doing well in this season so we don't know if they can do better. Though it will be add to beat Arsenal and Liverpool but miracle can happen.
Liverpool have been performing at the start of this season as they did at the start of last season. Last season, Liverpool continued to perform well until the middle of the season, but they did not perform well towards the end. It must be a huge failure for any team that performs well for most of the season and goes from being number one in the points table to being bottom of the points table for most of the season. In your opinion, if Liverpool are doing better this season than last season, they have a better chance of winning the title this season. Liverpool will be delighted if they win the title this season but they need to continue their good performances.

Brighton walked away with 1 point, and they dropped 2 points. Their defense was so sloppy defending in the late game. They were also showing how they struggled against Nottingham's low-block strategy. They have no one with the skill set to break down their opponent's deep defence.

They fought back well in the first half after a poor 40 minutes. They scored their two goals after escaping their poor play. Their poor defence at the second half let their opponent equalize the score.

Although they got a draw against Nottingham, they still keep their unbeaten record. Their defense needs to improve to beat Chelsea in their next game at Stamford Bridge.
Another unfortunate draw in the Sunday’s fixtures. It looks like Nottingham Forest are making a statement in the premier league this season, after defeating Liverpool at Anfield last weekend they go again to get a draw at Brighton’s home after taking lead. Nottingham were able to fight their way back from a 2-1 scoreline. For Sunday’s match against Chelsea, the odds are in Chelsea’s favor by 63%.

People who watch football without bias these days will tell you that,  Arsenal should have won this game but tue officials for this game single handedly supported a side yesterday.  Its now very plain that Mikel Arteta has grown to be one of the best managers in the Premier League Competition and I would love to finally see him win the trophy.
Arsenal are not always parking the bus but they had to do thi gs that way so they could either win tat game or share the spoils.  I'm not gunner but I say that they was the better side who should have won that game. The rivalry between them have been interesting and at tue same time fierce. VAR and match officials should do better in the Premier League Competition.

Firstly I wouldn’t be defending any Referee from the premier league most especially not Michael Oliver, he has always been in the spot light for some seasons now and sadly he is currently one of the most senior referees in the league so we will definitely see him still taking charge of some of these top matches. Personally I feel like yesterday even though some calls were wrong he still actually got the major ones correct, the second yellow card to Trossard is actually justifiable because the kick of the ball a way is an act of aggression or say disrespect which is a yellow card offense although he as the referee can still be a little be considerate and pardon him it wouldn’t still be bad also,

As for Arsenal first goal that Manchester city players were screaming about it was a goal to me because Walker had already gone back into his own half so I don’t understand their feud. I also wanted Arsenal to win but the weren’t lucky. The six minutes added time was because of the time wasted most especially when Raya and Martinelli needed medical attention, the additional minutes was because the game hasn’t even started when the 92 minutes clocked and I notice something like the referee signaling a stop of time every time the ball was stopped and that’s what made the extended time. It was just a little bit hard on Arsenal to draw that game.
Once upon a time referees used to respect top matches like this and would tolerate lots of misconducts that normally will warrant a red card or second yellow just to keep the game in a balance. We don’t see those gestures anymore rather players are rashly being sent off weekly and matches going in favor of the other team. Michael Oliver is a “trigger happy” referee and his harsh officiating is killing the entertainment of the game.

Manchester City are not so hard to beat, we saw that yesterday against Arsenal, when you pay attention to their players age, they're all getting worned out and old. A good side with good energy and counter attacking system can hurt them badly. Michael Oliver spoiled that game, the whole world saw what he did. Officials in the Premier League Competition are goddamn biased.
Nuno Espirito Santos is one manager that did well during the pre-season games and he's yet to lose a game in the Premier League Competition. Next week would be against Fulham United, all I see is Nothingham Forest winning that game.

Yeah, there isn't such thing like Manchester City is unbeatable. Every team fails at one point. The only thing needed is to know how to play against them. Of course, having the right players for that would also be more useful.  Smiley  Arsenal had all of that. Arteta looks like a mastermind against Guardiola. But I wish they didn't concede that last minute goal. It was devastating after seeing the way they defend.

Once again, Arsenal are on a really bumpy road. It isn't going to be easy to make it to the PL title as usual. I want to see them reaching there so much but we will see. I just hope they don't drop points in critical games again.
What Arsenal do after losing one player is natural and probably will also be done by Manchester City if they are ahead and only play with 10 men, but I think the match will be really tense if if the two teams play 11 vs 11, although Arsenal fail to maintain their victory in the last minute but at least they are still able to maintain a positive trend by not being defeated, but  regardless of what happened in the match, it is clear that in that match Arsenal showed an extraordinary fighting spirit when facing the champions of the Premier League in a row, Arsenal who are indeed starting to show their current mentality is indeed worthy of being favored as the favorite to win but of course we still have to see how they are able to maintain their current consistency in every game this season.

This is because their opponent is Arsenal, the main competitor in the EPL title race in recent seasons, so it is not an easy task for Manchester City to beat Arsenal even if we look at their statistics last season their performance is almost the same as this season Man City could not get full points when facing Arsenal and this shows how strong their opponent's defense is. But even so, at least Man City was able to equalize in the final minutes and both clubs got 1 point in this match, but Manchester City still remains at the top of the standings and has a difference of 2 points more than Arsenal.
I have never seen Arsenal defend like that. It was the first time I have ever seen Guardiola looking so confused and frustrated playing against Arsenal. I must admit that it felt so good to see City struggle to get points. This is the level I want to see Arsenal and the other top clubs in the EPL playing at, Arteta’s tactics played out well for Arsenal, it’s just unfortunate they didn’t get the best result but a point shared wasn’t so bad imo.
