Not sure what to think of Manchester City  tbh Roll Eyes someone says Rodri went with the keys to the locker that holds the goals for City which is why there is some kind of goal drought for the Citizens, and some say troube started when the Ballon Dor was robbed off vini... and in some camps fans are saying the age group of the team is hurting them because those currently playing are atleast over 29years with a few young stars 🌟 which is why currently they aren't as competitive as we expect them to be..

But this winless run is worrying even for us football fans that don't support them...will they over turn this anytime soon...hopefully boxing day things change  Tongue

Previously, I might still be confident that Manchester City will be able to recover quickly. But honestly, after Manchester City's defeat against Aston Villa, it seems that Manchester City will not be able to recover quickly. Instead of recovering quickly, it seems that for now I believe that Manchester City will really be out of the top six in the near future. About Manchester City's chances in the boxing day match later, even though they don't get a difficult opponent, I might start to doubt Manchester City even though they play against a mediocre team. Because yes, Manchester City is really experiencing a bad trend at this moment, I'm just surprised how Pep Guardiola can be completely destroyed right now, to the point of failing to make his team recover.

I get the humor, but all of this things said are nothing but pure speculations, we can never be sure of what went wrong with Manchester city except the management will decide to open up to the public, which personally, I believe is unlikely to happen.

But still, until the management decide to whether or not to let the public in on what is happening, or things decide to change for the club, nothing much we can do other than to keep watching and anticipating, and maybe see the constant loses as one of the realities of sports, which is that, the going won't always be sweet all the time..

I don't know what is happening to Man City, but what is clear is that they are facing serious problems. Not only in the Premier League, they even have a hard time in the Champions League. If victory becomes a target that is very difficult to obtain, then they could be knocked out of there. I hope this January transfer can be a way for Man City to solve their problems because it would be a bit strange if there was no Man City in the Champions League or fighting for a place in the Premier League top 4.

Manchester City started the game horrible. Aston Villa started to dominate from even the first seconds with many dangerous attacks. For now I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them getting ahead soon.

Is this surprising to me? Not at all of course. Guardiola can't find the root of the problem and the wound is getting bigger in time. I don't know how they can re-enter the league title competition in this way...

As a person who doesn't want to see another Manchester City championship this season, there is no problem for me.  Grin  But it is really difficult to understand their very poor condition. The recent form is very bad.
Manchester City dominated the match and has the highest ball possession in the game. Aston Villa from the stat of the match has only 45 possessions while Manchester City had 55 possessions and the gap is 10%. Which means it was the defense of the Manchester City that was not good enough that made Aston Villa to win the match with 2-1. And this were games we all expected Manchester City to win but things are not like before again.

Nottingham Forest is beating Brentford 2-0. And Brentford is controlling the ball but no chance to score yet and they have played 57 minutes and I don't think Nottingham Forest will allow Brentford to score because their defense is good.

Ipswich Town has beating by Newcastle United again. 4-0 is a huge score and if it end like this then it will be a big shame for Ipswich Town.

West Ham United has finally equalized with Brighton 1-1. Arsenal will win Crystal Palace. And that will be one of the interesting match of the Saturday games.

Half time; Aston Villa 1 vs 0 Manchester City

There is still the second half to improve the situation if Manchester City does not want to be left far from the top four competitor.
Is it possible that the management of the Manchester City club will change his mind in an effort to save the club by replacing Pep? I think it's too far, but it is still possible and is considered as one way to decide on this series.

The second half might change. Efforts to repay are being cultivated by Haaland.
It's unfortunate for Manchester city, Aston Villa have scored their seconf goal already while Manchester city is still struggling to score their first goal, now, their chances of equalizing the game and (maybe possibly) winning have significantly reduced.

Personally, I think it will be too early for the management of Manchester city to start discussing or contemplating on replacing pep, this is the same man that gave Manchester city their three consecutive Premier league title wins, it is totally disrespectful to want to replace him in just barely few months that things went south for the club.

He deserves to be given more time, maybe they should just forget about the title, or even making it to the top 4 this season, let them prepare for the next season, maybe things will be mucn better for them by then

He deserves to be a legend because in his era Manchester City fans can have a party at the end of the season in a row. And in the era they can also puff out their chests while saying we can treble winner.
Honestly, I also like Manchester City but not among their fans. I was just amazed at their strategy game during Pep as a coach.

In this fight they also lost, but that does not mean that everything needs to be ended, including planning to end Pep's work period. That's too funny I think.

As I have emphasized before, Manchester City is in great devastation and the performance decline of the players is very high.
Even if the squad quality is very high, if the psychological situation is not good, defeats are inevitable.
Today, they faced a team in form like Aston Villa and were defeated again.
The match score ended 2-1 and City scored their only goal in the 90+3rd minute with Foden.
As always, City was the side that controlled the ball, but Aston Villa hit the post twice.
Now, it is a fact that having the ball is not very important. What is important is what you do when you control the ball. It would be good if Pep understood this situation. You can turn the ball over as much as you want, if you cannot score, you will be defeated like this.

That’s hypothetically speaking but, it makes sense you know. They had this dose of bad luck after they played Arsenal sometime in September, where Rodri got injured and was eventually substituted from the game, bring on and Kovacic. Arsenal began exacting such dominance on Manchester City and were going to win the game until Trossard got sent off with a second yellow card. That was Manchester City’s start to dropping points and the team has never been the same since then. One thing I wonder is; where is E. Haaland in all these, his been all we talked about at a time in the EPL but, his been blank on goals for far too long now!

The Premier League season is still long, so for clubs in the EPL who have not had the chance to join the massacre, please be patient. Because Man City will give the same opportunity to break into their goal. Oddly enough defeat after defeat actually made Pep Guardiola given an additional contract opportunity.

It is a well deserved victory for Aston Villa against Manchester City but it is quite hilarious and more like a surprise considering how Manchester City started the season very nice and the poor performance they are now, it is so bad that it is taken Manchester City a longer time to come up to the outstanding performance they started the season with, last weekend was even better that they had a 1: 1 draw against Crystal Palace at away perhaps a draw would have been better than Lossing, but yeah the major problem is that the defense is becoming too poor and they are also having issues utilizing their gaol chances, i have much regards for Manchester City and i wish they come up soon.

I did not bet on Arsenal's match in the EFL match yesterday against Crystal Palace but from my post it discusses Arsenal's match in the EPL later where they will return against Crystal Palace and this match will be held in a different place, if previously at Arsenal's home ground but next Arsenal will play away so maybe Arsenal can't do the same thing as before I mean score more than 2 goals but I think Arsenal is still quite favored to win I predict a score of 1:0 for Arsenal's victory.

Even in today's game, Arsenal is the favorite team to win, but the truth is that Arsenal has recently been unpredictable. They have been messing up even matches they were supposed to win. Arsenal's last two Premier League games ended in draws  one against Fulham and the other against Everton  which many people expected Arsenal to win.in fact, the most painful result was the draw against Everton, which ruined many people's betting tickets. Everyone expected Arsenal to win the game with minimal effort, but they messed it up and ended in a draw.

So, anyone planning to bet on Arsenal has to be very careful because of their inconsistent performances. Their victory against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup does not guarantee that they will win today's game. One other factor to consider is that this is Crystal Palace's home game, and they tend to perform strongly at home.Let’s see what happens at the end of the game.

2-0 as of now. Villa leads the game and they seem to win this game very soon.

City is terrible in defense and attack. It's hard to saw how they can solve their problems, but it will not happen until Pep buy lots of players in January.

Haaland seems very frustated with none near him, and always got no pass to him. The downfall of City, that's it.

Do you still have hope for City at this moment?
I think Aston Villa will use this opportunity to secure their three points to go above Manchester City with one point in the Premier League table.

The management of Manchester City will wants to save the team, but I don’t think Sacking Pep Guardiola will be the best option for them because he is good, I think they just need to sign more players to strengthen the squad defensively because that’s the main problem of the team.
At this point, it's looking like I am already losing hope for the citizens, Aston villa are more likely going to score more given the numbers of chances they've been having, it's already 2-0 now. The defence line for Manchester city have not been up and doing, it has been porous and easy to penetrate by the Villa attacking force.

I don't think the Manchester City management would want to make a hasty decision on the sack of Pep Guardiola as things are at the moment, they might probably take a decision at the end of the season, that's if things doesn't change though.

Hope to equalize the score? If that's true what you mean, of course from what I observe now who is watching this fight, hope is still there.
But to do the comebacj, it doesn't know what to say.
The entry of Walker is right to inject the spirit of the team because it is in the figure of Walker even though he plays the role of CB.

Yup, Pep is at a loss on how to revive the player mentally now, he has tried various ways but still the city got loss, and and can't do anything else. he only hopes to win when meet Aston Villa tomorrow. This is important match that will determine his next step. Because they got warning from media and fans if he still loss again, that possible his position will be vulnerable to being fired. I think there will be big changes tomorrow, maybe he will dismantle the squad in order to win at Aston Willa home, or he has already found a way to increase the spirit to the squad to does not give up easily.

Arsenal depends on how they start the match, if they do well, everything works out and they score goals then they can beat Cristal Palace, and if the hosts can withstand the initial pressure then they can try to get points in this match. Cristal Palace play quite well at home and rarely lose, maybe for Arsenal this win is more important because they are still trying to catch up with Liverpool, and Cristal Palace are far from the relegation zone, but this does not mean that they will not want to get points in the home match.

Manchester United had a perfect performance against Manchester City with Guardiola in this team and they won the game with a 2-1 result while in a normal situation were not expecting to see Manchester United can even make problems for Manchester City. But the bad performance in Manchester City made this team lose games against weaker teams. Now that Manchester United has also got improved with Amorim this result for Manchester United was not bad at all and they had a great win.
However, other than this result, they lost their player, Mason Mount, in this match. Mason Mount was an expensive player, and the fans of Manchester United said their team waited 65 million euros.

It's hard to call Manchester United's game against City great, they were losing until the 88th minute, and only thanks to a penalty were they able to equalize, then they were lucky to score another goal at the end of the match. I would say that they were just lucky considering how weak their defense is, they were just lucky that City is in crisis now. Yesterday's match against Tottenham showed how weak their defense is, I admit that something similar should have happened to them in the match with City.
Manchester United beating a team like Manchester City is the biggest news. Considering the opponent, Manchester City is much stronger than Manchester United and naturally Manchester City was expected to win this match but the result turned out to be the opposite. Penalties are part of the game, you have to admire the Manchester United side that Manchester United did not miss the opportunity to take the penalty and use it to the team's need. We notice many changes between Manchester United's previous performance and Manchester United's current performance. Earlier when Manchester United came into the field, expectations were always very low but now they have performed well in several matches and our expectations for them have increased and I expect them to do better in the future.
