Aston Villa should have won against Bournemouth. Now I understand that they at least got one point but it is definitely not enough. They should have been able to win. If they are unable to win these kinds of matches, they are not going to be able to stay in the top four positions of the table. If they were able to win this match they could have gone ahead of Arsenal and on the third position of the table. But they have lost that chance. Still, they have a chance though because they are just behind on goal difference compared to Arsenal. Aston Villa has to be much more consistent. Because the competition is only going to get harder for the top 4 position

Don't really know what went wrong with them, but it was a massive opportunity missed. I believe Bournemouth was happy to have that draw at Villa's park. Late minutes in the English premier league can be very frustrating especially when the referee adds more than 4minutes of playing time, which I believe not every team can hold up for that long. Villa conceded In the 90+6 minutes of the game, which actually leveled the game to a draw. Now that they've missed this chance of going above arsenal on the table, I doubt if they will ever get the same chance till the league ends. Chances most times don't occur twice. We've seen it happen in the English premier league.

Manchester United wouldn't have rushed to hire a new coach when they have Ruud Van Nistelrooy, a player that made his mark in the team and have the United spirit of sportsmanship. They would have tried him a couple of times to see if he is capable of handling the team or not before opting for a new coach from and entirely new background. Just one match of him handling the team, he was able to motivate the boys to get five goals, a result ETH rarely have. I have the confidence that he would have been a nice substitute for ETH for the mean team maybe until January when they will be able to evaluate him using many matches he would have played.

Hiring Amorim is a done deal. That's at least according to Dave Brailsford, Ineos’ director of sport (Ineos owns Man Utd). There's still uncertainty over when exactly will Amorim join the club, but probably won't be too long. In a recent interview he confirmed that he will be staying in Lisbon this Sunday, so van Nistelroy will again take charge of the team in a game against Chelsea. But even if United won decisively with Chelsea, I don't think there's any chance Ruud would stay as a permanent manager. The contract with Amorom seems to be already signed.

In other matches, Aston Villa failed to maximize their match to win over Bournemouth. Aston Villa and Bournemouth both drew 1-1 which then failed to take Arsenal's position in 3rd place. Even though Aston Villa's match against Bournemouth was played earlier than Arsenal vs Liverpool, Aston Villa deserved to feel disappointed because Arsenal and Liverpool also drew. . Aston Villa and Arsenal both have 18 points, while Chelsea follows from behind with a gap of 1 point.

Amorim inherited a squad that was not in good form from Ten Hag, so he needed time to rebuild the Manchester United squad to a better performance. His first season as Manchester United coach did not go as expected, there will be a transition period between himself and the players to understand each other. Usually, coaches have favorite players who they think can work well with them, as Conte wanted at Napoli to bring in Lukaku. A squad overhaul may be on the cards, but it will all happen slowly.
This is a hot seat we're talking about here, the managerial role is not easy as it seems. Only possible most of these best managers can handle this crucial position without relenting or having some form of weakness. The current assistant coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy is building a good thing in the club. In his first game, he recorded a striving win of 5-2 against Leicester City and its consider a stunning record for the team. Manchester United sacked Erik Ten Hag and now settles for Ruud van Nistelrooy as temporary headcoach, he has good vision and his plans to execute them wouldn't be any problem. As for the Sporting headcoach, Ruben Amorim will coming to Old Trafford November and that puts him in good stands to obtained the necessary important winnings for the club.

I believe Amorim can't help Manchester United to return to their glory days on his first season. He has a lot of things to be done, and yet again, he should have sold the players who were not used by the club. And i think the club will not back him with lots of money in the winter transfer season. This was because the FA might sanction Manchester United for violating the PSR rules.

Ten hag has left a team with a bad form and mentality at the moment, but I think ten hag has actually also left a strong team full of star players, so I think amorim will have an easier job later at Manchester United, because he just needs to improve the performance and mentality of the Manchester United players later and find the right strategy to make them better, every new coach of course needs a transition and it is often a big challenge for a new coach like Amorim in EPL, but considering if squad inherited from Ten Hag is filled with good and talented players, of course he will not need much time to understand the strengths and weaknesses of his players and rebuild the team to be more competitive, if Conte brought Lukaku to the Napoli squad, Ten Hag brought Anthony previously to Manchester United,So I think Gyokeres will be the player brought by Amorim to Manchester United later to occupy their main striker position.

Arsenal and Liverpool played against each other in the Premier League where Arsenal managed to score two goals against Liverpool while Liverpool managed to score two goals against Arsenal. We've seen Liverpool and Arsenal play a lot of attacking football but neither team has been able to get that much against each other. A personal win against Liverpool would have put them in a better position on the points table but they were not able to do so but thanks to Liverpool and Arsenal for putting on a good game.

I honestly thought Arsenal might be able to actually win this match. But the player that was supposed to leave the Liverpool club, Salah, saved Liverpool in the 81st minute. But honestly, Liverpool didn't deserve to lose this match in my opinion. They have played well in this match. Actually, I am going to say that neither of these two teams deserved to lose this match. A win was needed for Arsenal though. Because the point difference between them and Liverpool is 4. Now Arsenal is going to be under pressure from Chelsea and Aston Villa. Liverpool is playing really well by the way. This is one match that they have drawn remaining quite a few consistently.

After Ten Hag, Manchester transferred Sporting Lisbon's Coach Ruben Amorim for 10 million Euros.
Coach transfer is not a common situation, but it can happen sometimes.
According to the news, Manu will also pay a large compensation to Ten Hag.
This situation does not affect a club like Manchester at all. They should have fired him long ago. A move that was too late.
Amorim has no angry stick in his hand. He too will need time.
This will be a lost year for Manchester.

But, if for example Manchester United postpone to appoint Ruben Amorim and give time for Ruud van Nistelrooy to become interim manager of Manchester United, it seems like it will still be okay. Because after all, Ruud van Nistelrooy also managed to make Manchester United win big in last night's match in the EFL Cup, and Manchester United managed to win with a big score of 5-2. Also, having four goals in the first half I think it was a very good performance.

Indeed, there is no guarantee whether Ruud van Nistelrooy will be able to consistently make good improvements for Manchester United or not, but I think giving time for Ruud van Nistelrooy until the middle of the season or maybe until the end of this season, it seems like it will be interesting too and maybe Ruud van Nistelrooy is also the right person to become head coach of Manchester United.

Somehow you're making a valid point but on the other hand it doesn't really depend on the size of the league where the coach comes from because even Jose Mourinho was brought in from the Portuguese league where he was incharge of FC Porto and he did very well with Chelsea winning some titles. I think we should rather focus on what the coach can offer, let's wait and see what his own football philosophy would look like, let's see if he would be the kind of coach that would discipline his players and also create a team that would turn out to be champions rather than worry about where he comes from.

It is not actually nice making some fast conclusion about a new coach that is yet to start work for the club he must have been assigned to manage. It is only bad and to think of a coach less since he hasn’t showcased what he’s capable of doing for the success of the club. The premier league is indeed more intense than the Portuguese league he’s currently managing a club in, but it doesn’t mean he won’t perform well if he comes to the premier league to manage a team. Such was Kompany spoke lowly of, but today he has been doing tremendously well for the Bayern Munich team and could continue of this success path till the end of the season. We just have to wait to see what he can do for Manchester United before we can make conclusions.
Most times coaches fail to make impact in their new assignment not because they are not tactical sound but because of some factors that are within the club settings, such interference within the club's hierarchy and the inability of the coach to take certain important decisions which he sees fit to enable him create the kind of changes that he require to enable him discharge his duties effectively and these and many more are some of the problems which I think have impeded the progress of Manchester United over the years

Especially for a complex club like Manchester United that owned and run by Core business men who might want to interfere and scrutinize with the coaches choices of players especially when the transfer window open, so if the coach is given the liberty to run his team it might go a long way to affect the output of the coach which will in turn affects the results.

After reading the many praises given to Man United and also the pride of Ten Hag dismissal which gave a positive result in yesterday's match, do you have confidence in the upcoming match that Man United can win against Chelsea? Even the bookmakers give the same odds between MU and Chelsea. Do you have a prediction in this match?

Their victory in the previous match gave a new atmosphere and new discussions about their performance for the next match. But I think they also forgot that the opponent they defeated with a landslide score in the previous match was not a very tough club. Not to underestimate Leicester, but when you look at their position in the regular competition, their position is also at the bottom, yes even though it is only one rank below Manchester United. Now the opponent they will face is Chelsea. Chelsea itself is in a good trend this season. They showed a good revival this season, unlike the previous season which had a disappointing appearance. So this is also a big question whether they will be able to or not.

I did not know about Ruben Amorim before the sack on Ten Hag and rumor, news about chances that Ruben Amorim will be appointed as a new head coach of Manchester United.

He started his coach career in 2018 - 2019 season but his success began to be big with Sporting Lisbon with a league trophy last season. In this season, he has won 9 matches with Sporting Lisbon in Liga Portugal and did not lose any point so far.

Lisbon history since 2005 - 2006 season: https://www.transfermarkt.com/sporting-lissabon/platzierungen/verein/336/

His stats with Sporting Lisbon are impressive but moving to Manchester United and Premier League will be very big challenge for this young coach.
Of course, I'm the same as you. A coach who is not famous usually won't get much attention, unless he has already received interest from a big team. We may have watched Sporting Lisbon play before, but didn't realize that its current coach has received interest from Manchester United today. Amorim of course has to adapt quickly to the team's current needs after Ten Hag left, so he doesn't have much time to think and he has to come with all his abilities.

I just read the news about when Ruben Amorim will join Manchester United. It is said that Amorim will handle the team after the international break, meaning that Manchester United will still be managed by its current interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy for the next 3 matches. I don't know if this has been confirmed, usually there isn't much reliable news in situations like this.

Previously I had never heard of Ruben Amorim, who now looks like he will coach Manchester United. Ruben Amorim may not be the most famous coach in Europe so far and Manchester United want to give him a tough job. The Manchester United squad that Ten Hag left behind clearly had problems, so Ruben Amorim needed time to do everything as well as possible.

Luckily Ruben Amorim loves the Premier League and everything it has to offer and that is a sign that he is ready to take on the challenge. The pressure within the Manchester United club is much greater than others such as Tottenham, Aston Villa and several others, so Ruben Amorim must be able to do his job very well if he wants to last longer.

I think Amorim is a good appointment for United but they have been employing different managers for 10 years since Ferguson and failed. Mourinho, LVG, Ten Hag are all multiple title winners but haven’t been great for Man Utd.

Can Amorim return them to their former glories? I have my doubts but like the others before him, he will be backed in the transfer market.

Firstly I will say they should let go of these players who have seen more managers been sacked than the trophies they have won, they're hell toxic and a problem to the development of the squad in the dressing room. Also, the ex-manchester United class of 1992 set of players should let managers implement their style and not force them to go back to that traditional british style of play. Why do I feel like they're also doing too much to fight the club? I'm not expecting nothing from.him, he should learn from the mistakes of the previous manager or perish. Bye!

There is just something about football that you can't explain when a manager is sacked...last night I thought Manchester United would struggle against Leicester City because currently they aren't playing as a unit and the foxes can be a nuisance when they want to, but instead the team rose to the occasion and brought their A game to the party and players that haven't performed were firing on all cylinders and am thinking...if players want to punish the manager they can do it on purpose and results will be there for all to see..but yester night was nice to see the boys get 5 passed Leicester.

Great new beginning team United, we hope to see more wins after ETH was sacked.

Well, I actually learnt that the Manchester united boss, in the person of Erik Ten Hag finally got sacked, I learnt about this today a few hours ago, and I was like "finally".

The truth is that, his sack was inevitable, and this is possibly why it didn't come as a surprise to many of us, and  so far, speaking of Manchester united's team performance against Leicester city, we all should understand that the team aren't working for the manager, they are working for the management of the club and for the general good of the entire club, letting the just sacked manager affect their game play or performance would have been a misplacement of priorities.
And to believe that their underperformance previously was a way to punish their previous manager is also absurd, an improvement in their performance going forward should be simply seen that the new manager possibly has better managing abilities than the previous one.

Well, Ten Hag has really changed Manchester United's culture by his own. He degraded Manchester United's culture from a winning team to the mediocrity team. One of his biggest mistakes is bringing too many Ajax players to his new club. He should have gotten a reliable, experienced player. That was unacceptable.

After Manchester United fired Ten Hag, they hired a new manager, Amorim. This also clarifies that the rumor about Ruud joining Manchester United is fake.

They may be undergoing a new transformation under Amorim.
Sacking Erik Ten Hag was the proper decision taken by the team's board? Yes because he couldn't explore handling decisive actions of the club interms of improvement, which was very poor. Erik Ten Hag brought horrible results for such elite club status and you expects the fans to be happy about the whole situation? He's one coach that have singlehandedly ruined things at Old Trafford, watched Manchester United league home games and you will be shocked with the level of mediocre performance exhibited by the team. Rúben Amorim is leading on the list when we're talking about coaches that are securely provided with margineable means. He's brave enough to handle his new role, it's all just a matter of time to see the new boss parading in Old Trafford.
The difficulty level of the Premier League is much higher than the Portuguese League. That's why Amorim, like Ten Hag who was brought from Ajax, may not give a good image. Manchester United is taking a big risk. They are bringing a coach from a small league to the team again. I thought they realized this mistake and would not make it again, I can say that I am very surprised.

Same thing I was telling somebody about this new manager Manchester United have gone for, there are topnotch coaches all across the World, why not go for something big, Manchester City broke the Bank and went for pep guardiola, and today look at the amazing result he has been delivering. Ajax is not on the same level with Manchester United, the level of competition in the premier League is different as all eyes are always on you and unfortunately Ten Hag brought along with him that Ajax mentality. Ruben Amorim doesn't have that CV yet to manage a big club like Manchester United, except he would be learning on the job on how to manage a big club like United.

Well this is exactly as I said before and but it has been covered with some new pages and I'm too lazy to look for it Cheesy, the possibility of Ruben Amorim is not much different from Erik Ten Hag because in reality coaching a club as big as Manchester United is not easy, it requires a coach who has above average abilities and has experience coaching big clubs, replacing Erik Ten Hag with Ruben Amorim is like replacing an old mistake with a new mistake, I think Man United will regret being too quick in making a decision without reconsidering their decision to recruit that coach.
This is not just about the League level because it is clear that the Portuguese League cannot be compared to the English League. If based on that, of course every coach will end up badly, so instead of comparing the quality of the League why not compare Erik Ten Hag achievements at Ajax with Amorim achievements with Sporting? This comparison is clearly ridiculous, because it will bring up other ridiculous comparisons such as the quality of coach Arne Slot when he was in the Dutch League with Feyenoord. Isn't that even more irrelevant? Why can Arne Slot make Liverpool at the top of the standings while Erik Ten Hag is the opposite?

In the end what determines is the quality of the coach, not the Domestic League competition that has been played.
