Even though the match was played at the Emirates, Liverpool had an opportunity to take control and secure all three points. Arsenal also performed well, they were clinical and took advantage of their chances in front of goal. It was a good game, Liverpool could have capitalized more on Arsenal’s weaknesses, due to the injury crisis Arteta had to play some players out of position so in my opinion, the draw was more beneficial to the hosts, Arsenal, than to the visitors Liverpool.
They had the chances and at the same time they were been careful so they don't lose to Arsenal. It's always a difficult task when playing against a team at home and you can see how Thomas Partey was there all through out for Arsenal but they play more defensive game than Arsenal because full time they are defending and watching how Arsenal attack carefully but as soon as they get that opportunity, they return the energy and then come back to defend.
Liverpool created more chancrs actually, if not thag Arsenal was the one playing at home it would be a finish game for Arsenal but Liverpool were been careful due, they have the confidence to beat Arsenal but their position at the top, they didn't want to lose it and yet they couldn't take it back from Manchester City and I'm not sure if Guardiola is going to entertain any form of loss from that team again.
Regardless of the performance of these two teams in this match and the result they got, I think Arsenal is not lucky at all.
Arteta trying to have a good performance in Arsenal and he hired some palyers to improve his team and have a better performance but it seems having many injured players can cause problems for Arteta and his team.
Against Liverpool, Arsenal lost another player and it seems their Brazilian defender, Gabriel Magalhães got injured.
Checking the list of injured palyers in Arsenal they have Tierney, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko, and their captain, Ødegaard.
