Maybe this season the competition is more leaning towards Man City and Liverpool, both of whom have always performed consistently and are only one point apart in the standings. Arsenal are starting to fall behind Man City and Liverpool, although they are in third place, but cannot improve their ranking even if both their rivals lose at the same time in one match. Arsenal performed very well last season, but this time their performance has dropped a bit. Arteta needs to fix every mistake in his squad to collect points. They must always treat every game like a final to keep the competition in the title race.

Arsenal is still very much a competitive team in the premier league but i doubt if their performance this season can equal or be higher than how they were in the past two seasons because they are not showing any enthusiasm to be as strong as they were in the previous season even though they only lost one match out of 9 games they have played currently. For me, Mikel Arteta needs more quality defenders because their defense has been disappointing them in some matches they would comfortably won. Liverpool and Manchester city almost have same strength, but we will find out who is more stronger when both teams will face each other.

Honestly, it is clear that Arsenal is not as strong as they were last season. From my observations, what seems to be causing their drop in performance is that they are trying to change their football pattern. Arsenal’s current style of play appears to focus more on defense than on attacking, and this may be the reason why they are finding it difficult to score many goals this season. Last season, when Arsenal focused more on attacking, they scored many goals, especially when playing against smaller teams. Recently, however, Arsenal has been finding it difficult.

Anytime I see people say that Arsenal isn't strong like last season, I disagree immediately. They are strong but what they don't have is number 9 and that's the only their weak point. Don't you see how Manchester City is killing most of their games, the only thing that differentiate them from Arsenal is that number 9 and that's what Haaland is doing for them, if Arsenal can have a number 9 killer like Haaland, they will kill and bury any team that comes their way.

Some teams have tactical ways of winning matches but Arsenal can't recreate similar thing because if they really can, they should have succeeded by now but this is their 3rd attempt with Arteta playing this same game over and over and there is no improvement. It's either he get number 9 or Arsenal sack him by next season, it's as simple as that. They had the chance to sign Osimhen but they screwed everything.

Many are already seeing Arsenal as the team that will put an end to the league title streak Manchester City are on for some years now but when they needed them the most, you’ll see them fumble and allow them to be defeated by some mediocre team in the premier league. Even at the start of this season, Arsenal was already seen as the team that can withstand and challenge Manchester City for the league title but they don’t look to me so since their performance began to reduce in the premier league quest.

The season may not have even reached half yet, but for Manchester City to still be on a winning streak and not lost any match, also maintaining that first position on the league table, we may likely see them prevail for another league title this season. Liverpool are beginning to look like the team that may stop Manchester City from winning the league title again, but before then, Liverpool needs to remain consistent and be able to beat them when they meet head to head this season.

With Arsenal having not won the Premier League title for over a decade, and although they have failed to stop Manchester City's run of success, but being runners-up in the last two seasons, they are getting closer to clinching a spot at the top of the table. With changes to their game plan, strengthening their squad, Arsenal need to continue the adaptation. More reliable under Mikel Arteta and better in the final third, both in attack and defence.

City and Liverpool have been the dominant forces in recent years, whereas Arsenal bring a mix of youth and experience to stay competitive. Their form this season has been a little up and down, but that's to be expected in a competitive season, especially with the number of games increasing. If they continue to maintain that level of consistency and take their chances in key matches, yes, the league title could become a reality. So, with those tough challenges, Arsenal are still very serious contenders for the Premier League trophy this season.

Manchester United has been a club that is mismanaged for over a decade now, and even more important part is that they are not recovering neither, they are doing a bad job and everyone can see it and yet whatever they try, they fail. After Ratcliffe came in and INEOS was managing the team, I thought maybe things would change and we would see something else, but seeing how things are, I would say it is not looking like they are doing a good job neither.

Extending ETH's contract and then ending up with firing him anyway after a few months, means they are going to pay him a huge sum of termination clause and also they are getting another manager that would cost them money to get as well, all of which would cost a lot of money. Instead, they could have just got someone for free, save about 20+ million euros. Not that they would spend it on anyone great, they would just go buy some shitty Dutch player and hope for the best I am sure, even a fifa FUT player would do better transfers.

If we should judge them based on their current position in the Premier League table now and from the way Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal are performing currently, I would say the competition is focused on these the teams. The truth is that both Manchester City and Arsenal the two teams are not performing as strongly as last season. Comparing Manchester City’s performance with last season, it is clear that their performances has as bit reduce. Given their current performances, I can’t say they will be this season’s Premier League winners. In fact, it’s even too early to talk about the top two teams that might likely win this season’s Premier League, as their performances seem to be on a similar level.

Arsenal performed very well last season, but this time their performance has dropped a bit.

Liverpool's draw against Arsenal puts Manchester City one point ahead of them so that Manchester City is currently leading the standings. The competition in the top three will be much more interesting because with a point difference that is not far away, it will provide opportunities for the three teams to shift positions in the standings. Manchester City is still very strong and Liverpool needs to work hard to make this season more proud for them.
The current very thin difference in points between Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal really reminds me of the same moment last season. because I think last season the same thing happened. And it is hoped that the competition this time will be as fierce as last season until the end of the season. At the start of the season Arsenal looked more promising. but now I see them sometimes playing not according to expectations and it makes me have doubts. But hopefully my doubts are wrong. because I still want to hope that Arteta can finally bring Arsenal to win the Premier League title.

This season I think Chelsea and Liverpool had up their game thus would challenge Man City unlike last season where Arsenal was the only team that put up a fierce challenge against Man City, though City is leading the table now, however I don't think I would be a smooth ride therefore other teams would not relax and allow city to continue to extend their point lead and this season it's obvious Man City would struggle in some of their matches for instance they narrowly won Fulham 3-2 when a comeback against them was likely in addition they defeated Southampton with a narrow 1-0 margin a match soccer pundits and analyst was expecting a wide goal margin.

This three clubs are always dragging when it comes to position and it very important that there must be a winner and it's a completion and every club wants to win everything is now left for them to decide wether they will be able to win or not because this season have even be more unpredictable, know to win this season is very difficult to predict. It will still be among Liverpool and Manchester City because we don't know for arsenal this season. The only two people we can talk about is not other than the city and Liverpool.

Arsenal looks like they are going back to their old self and that is more like them, and last season was when they had the opportunity to be able to win the trophy, this season they won't even smell it, because the usual winner Manchester City we are the number one, and we are going to keep winning till we get tired of winning thay trophy since anyone is not capable for now.

Don’t you think it is too early to exclude Arsenal? They are currently in third place, and Liverpool, which is in second place, is currently ahead of Arsenal with just four points, and Manchester City, which is in first place, is ahead of Arsenal with five points. Just nine matches have been played, the league is still early, and I don’t expect any of the three clubs to win all their matches, both Manchester City and Liverpool can have a drop in performance before the season ends, and Arsenal can end up taking over the first position.

Actually, I'm not saying that Arsenal will be winning the league, but it’s just too early for us to conclude on the club that’s going to win, and 4-5 point difference isn’t so much that can’t be cover up, so let’s see how Arsenal are going to perform in coming matches.

Arsenal performed very well last season, but this time their performance has dropped a bit.
Arsenal performance has dropped this season, but anything can still happen, there might be changes in their performance in the next few matches. I am sure Arteta will be doing everything possible to improve the club's performance, so don’t think the club's performance will remain like this till season end.

Manchester United is a year late in sacking Ten Hag, and now they’re about to sign Amorim. I think it would have been better for United to go with a manager who has a stronger track record of success instead of Amorim. According to some rumors, Manchester United were going to stick with Ruud until the end of the season, but from the news about Amorim, it seems those rumors aren’t true.

They don't have the money to do that right now and even if they did, I'm not sure they are going to break the bank to do it. They just settle Inter $50m about the deal of Onana to Manchester last week and also settled Ten Hag of another $15m to let him drop his job for another person to take and now here is Amorim coming to take the job which means another settlement will come to their bank, if they are too go for to high level coach, they might spend much.

Someone stronger might not be able to win a trophy, that's not how things work in football. Someone stronger might not even have anything to offer you but someone with less do have much to offer because of the zeal to prove they are worthy. Assuming they didn't renew Erik contract, they would have made a better arrangement for a new coach but perhaps they were under a spell back then and it's only clearing from their eyes right now.

Today, some teams will be playing in the EFL Cup but I wonder if they will play their main squad or just their second string players. Because at least, they also still have to focus on the Premier League and the Champions League, so rotating in a match like this seems possible. With such considerations, I am not entirely sure whether a team like Liverpool will win or not, because Liverpool will also play away against Brighton, and also about Chelsea who will play away against Newcastle and so is the match between Tottenham v Manchester City. But yes, there are still other matches like Arsenal and also Aston Villa which I believe both teams may still be able to get a definite winning result in this match.
Gine are the days when coaches rotate their squad to a higher degree because of priority of march or league. This time around every competition seems to be difficult, so no one will take any match unserious. The fixture that will interest me most this night is Chelsea versus Newcastle United. Last week Chelsea managed to win Newcastle United in the English Premier League, it will be shameful for them to take on Newcastle again and defeat them just after few days of the first defeat. Therefore we are expecting a very severe and fieced match there.

The next interesting matche is Manchester United versus Leicester City. At least everyone would want to see the ideology of Van Nesteroy as it differs with Erik Ten Hang.

It is commonplace that less prestigious competitions will be a place for second-string players, managers will be happy to rotate their players to accommodate playing minutes to be fair. There is no significant pressure in the Carabao Cup, managers will be more free to experiment with any strategy, regardless of the opponent they will face. For teams like Manchester City and Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United the trophy is just entertainment. However, Tottenham, Newcastle and all the other contestants will try seriously to win it. Of the 6 matches that will be played soon, the Tottenham versus Manchester City match looks the most interesting, because it is certain to be a tough one.

As a Liverpool fan, the EFL Cup is quite far down on the list of priorities but it gives us a chance to rest some of our stats and we can give some of the lads who haven't played much in the early part of the season some vital match fitness. We might need some of them to step in if there are injuries so it’s not a totally pointless cup.

Maybe some of the young players can use this match to show Slot what they’re all about. Any way, I will obviously be tuning in, cheering the boys on.

It's not really easy to treat every game as final, the players are not robots, they cannot be overstretched, currently they are even overstretched considering the numbers of competitions they are involved in. Arsenal has injury problems as a couple of players are out injured, Saka just managed to play their last match and he was very impressive, though he was later substituted.  I believe there is still ample time for Arsenal to recover and give a serious fight for the league title.

I don't want see Liverpool as serious contender, at a point last season when they where at the top of the league table, a lot of people felt they will end up lifting the trophy and then suddenly they fell off the hook, so in as much as they are the league leaders now, i strongly doubt their consistent ratio.

Playing their main squad or second eleven will depend on the intensity of the opponents they will be playing in the Cup; and some teams don’t even have squad depth that can satisfy them, so they have no option than to play their normal squad they used to play in both Premier League and the Champions League.

However, most of the teams playing in Champions League do have second team, but now if you noticed all the big teams in the EPL, they all have injuries which will force them to give their second options chance to get more confidence so that they can be used to play in the champions league and the Premier League.

Both Tottenham and Manchester City will play to be safe. They both need the win so they will all display their main squad with maybe slight changes; but for Arsenal, they can display some of their benched players and some of their players that are just coming back from injury to give them more confidence.

This is round of 16 matches of Carabao Cup and yesterday Championship division team QPR and the team from League two Barrow A.F.C has successfully to beat their opponents and advances to the next round and compared to other Premier league teams who will fight today i think Arsenal gets easy match this because their opponent is Preston North End and certainly Arsenal can win from this match

I think the match is not so interesting because Premier league teams will fight used their reserved players but i am interested about the match between Newcastle vs Chelsea this because several times ago both teams has been met in Premier league match and Chelsea is the winner so today i would like to see whether Newcastle can able to gets revenge from Chelsea or for this match Chelsea can beat Newcastle again

Premier League in recent seasons, Guardiola has taught us that City can be stable.

Manchester City have been able to win the English Premier League in 6 of the last 7 campaigns in the competition so it's very safe to say that they're the most consistent team in the league for the past decade and the only other team that's once won the league in the last seven seasons is Liverpool which also explains that despite Arsenal's strong competitions, they've never been able to to overcome Manchester City or Liverpool. Though Arsenal have been Manchester City's biggest rivals in the league in the last two seasons but considering the performances of Liverpool this season, I strongly believe they'll be Manchester City's biggest rivals of the current season. Arsenal will have to significantly improve from what we've seen so far to stand a chance of winning the English title that they last won 20 years ago.

Liverpool Man City rivalry is preferable especially this season, but city's key men are exiting the club soon, how long would City sustain credibility after facing real remarkable changes. Halland is open for Real Madrid, and Pep insists on leaving.

But, from his efforts he's made remarkable changes in Man City, and is quite sure that the club would stand strong without him and few more players. Hence, we'd have to be speculative and watch if truly the Cityzens would outperform their adversaries despite the absence of Guardiola.

The EFL is not the main target for big teams, so they should have done a rotation to keep their main players, because the journey in the Premier League and the Champions League is still very long, while they have a tight schedule like this and one of them is their match in the EFL. I'm sure the priority for a team as big as Liverpool is the Premier League and also the Champions League, so maybe they won't play too hard. To maintain the victory, they can play their main players and then in the second half they rotate by making many substitutions. That's a strategy that I usually see in competitions that are not a top priority.
