It was obvious that Pep guardiola didn't want to concentrate on the carabao cup as there are bigger fish to catch and that's were Pep Guardiola attention is at. When we see Manchester city playing in the champions league and the premier league, there's a difference compared to when they play in smaller tournaments as the carabao cup. Manchester city has won this trophy many times and Pep Guardiola too has won the trophy therefore he mightn't be that interested in it anymore. Bit still Tottenham played very well and they were determined to win as they know this might be one of the only opportunity for them to win a trophy this season as other tournaments is packed with better teams.

At least, Ruud van Nistelrooy started his career as a coach this time very well, and did not disappoint. This game will make it obvious that Manchester United can do more better without Erick Ten Hag. Just take a look this is their first game after he left but they are scoring 5-2 in the game. No one will be expecting that to come, almost all of use had to start to lose hope on Manchester United, but just take at their new self. I pray they will do more better and play a very good performance with their new coach. We have more to expect from Manchester United. All poor performance has come to an end, everyone should wait and see how the narrative of their performance will change entirely.

Arteta said this at the beginning of the season but look at what they are doing now. Arsenal players are getting unnecessary red cards which are making them lose points. Liverpool are showing promise this season, Arne Slot is pushing the envelope with his team, I know they cannot beat City but anything can happen. I have never seen Manchester City begin the season on a high note like they did this season. City could have been on top of the Premier League table earlier if not for the absence of KDB and Rodri. For many seasons, Arsenal and Liverpool have struggled to take the league title from Manchester City and they have always failed to accomplish that.

Looks like your prediction really came true, sir. Because currently in the Carabao Cup Man United is leading 4-2 in the first half which has just ended. And somehow because the Man United players have really changed to be more aggressive and I think they seem to be free from some shackles. It's just that Man United's defense is still the same, namely it still has many gaps. So in the first half Man United also conceded 2 goals. It's just that the 4 goals scored by Man United players still put Man United ahead in the first half. Now in the second half I think a more interesting match will occur.

Arsenal is still very much a competitive team in the premier league but i doubt if their performance this season can equal or be higher than how they were in the past two seasons because they are not showing any enthusiasm to be as strong as they were in the previous season even though they only lost one match out of 9 games they have played currently. For me, Mikel Arteta needs more quality defenders because their defense has been disappointing them in some matches they would comfortably won. Liverpool and Manchester city almost have same strength, but we will find out who is more stronger when both teams will face each other.

Arsenal have already fallen far behind in the title race this season. And right now I don't consider Arsenal team hot favorites to win the Premier League title. Arsenal is 5 points behind Manchester City. And their performance is somewhat erratic.

Over the last few seasons we have seen the same problem within Arsenal's squad. Arsenal's bench team was weak. So we have seen Arsenal's performance deteriorate whenever an important player in the squad suffers an injury. Arsenal did not take necessary steps to strengthen Arsenal's bench team this season as well. We will see some erratic performances from Arsenal if some of the players in the Arsenal squad are facing injuries. Personally I don't consider Arsenal to be favorites for this season's Premier League.

Manchester United is already demonstrating the effect of the change in management of the club by scoring four goals in first half. Even though it is a cup match against Leicester, who would have imagined that Manchester United that was struggling to score will get four goals in first half. We shall await their next premier league match to see how they will play against Chelsea, another good team this season. Ruben Amorim have to prove himself to be better than Ten Hag else it will be very frustrating for Manchester United.

Getting Amorim would have to change some things in the club, there is no way he would be great if he is there for long term.

Look at all the previous managers and you will see all of them did great on their first year, not so great on second year, and most of them fired on third year or even before. So this means, Amorim could fix the team this season, do great next season (or even this year since we are still early) and then not so bad after that, and then terrible and fired.

This shows a pattern and that has to change, whatever is the main cause of this, I am sure it is not the coach because if it was the coach then why would it be for this many coaches in a row, there must be something bigger going on with the team that nobody really talks about at all.

Amorim has to check his back all the time if he doesn't want a someone back stabbing him, there will be a lot of people who are out for blood, and I am pretty sure the yare going to end up with a lot of problems within the staff as well. This is going to be a tough decision to make, but we are going to end up with a better result eventually when Amorim sets up shop and starts to show the world what he can do with this team and how he can take them to next level again.

Gabriel Jesus who is playing the number 9 in Arsenal is not a bad player though he needs more effort in that forward striker position. But if they have seen another player who is good in that position then it is good to change him. But at the time being, he is trying and Arsenal has not really done bad in this season even though the expectations are not like the previous seasons. In every team, they have their tactics, technics and strategies to win game and when the opposition team knows the then it affect the other team. So plays have to change skills to perform well. When this season got started, Arsenal was doing perfectly well and it was lately that they are reducing the performance.

I'm curious which defender should they go for next because to me I think they have good defense but rather affected by injury woes, Arsenal inconsistency shouldn't be blame only on the defense, the team will need to do more than last season to win EPL title this season, everything is not always about signing players though having more can help in the aspect of injuries woes but still yet no player will love to sit on the bench especially one quality and potential.

Though Manchester City and Liverpool are starting better than Arsenal, I still rate Arsenal ahead of Liverpool especially after how last season ended, Liverpool started well but fell off at some point.
