Maybe this season the competition is more leaning towards Man City and Liverpool, both of whom have always performed consistently and are only one point apart in the standings. Arsenal are starting to fall behind Man City and Liverpool, although they are in third place, but cannot improve their ranking even if both their rivals lose at the same time in one match. Arsenal performed very well last season, but this time their performance has dropped a bit. Arteta needs to fix every mistake in his squad to collect points. They must always treat every game like a final to keep the competition in the title race.

Most often this is what happens, City compete with either Liverpool or Arsenal for the title, and I don't remember Liverpool and Arsenal coming to the end of the season together and fighting together for a long time, one of them always has a slump and they drop out. That's why City has been considered the most stable team in the Premier League in recent seasons, Guardiola has taught us that City can be stable.
Manchester City have been able to win the English Premier League in 6 of the last 7 campaigns in the competition so it's very safe to say that they're the most consistent team in the league for the past decade and the only other team that's once won the league in the last seven seasons is Liverpool which also explains that despite Arsenal's strong competitions, they've never been able to to overcome Manchester City or Liverpool. Though Arsenal have been Manchester City's biggest rivals in the league in the last two seasons but considering the performances of Liverpool this season, I strongly believe they'll be Manchester City's biggest rivals of the current season. Arsenal will have to significantly improve from what we've seen so far to stand a chance of winning the English title that they last won 20 years ago.

The current very thin difference in points between Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal really reminds me of the same moment last season. because I think last season the same thing happened. And it is hoped that the competition this time will be as fierce as last season until the end of the season. At the start of the season Arsenal looked more promising. but now I see them sometimes playing not according to expectations and it makes me have doubts. But hopefully my doubts are wrong. because I still want to hope that Arteta can finally bring Arsenal to win the Premier League title.

I think Arsenal have always been like this for the past two seasons; they always start the season with a very good performance, but they end up disappointing their fans. And as you said, it is about to happen this season again. Although last season they became stronger and also competed with Manchester City for the title, the season they don’t look stronger again. As you said, maybe they will buckle up again this season. The season is still in its early stages, and I’m still expecting Arsenal to do better this season.

I think the two previous season were Arsenal failed to win the league after starting the season in a good form has been a very big lesson for them which I believe they are working together to achieve a better performance and season this time and looking at how they started this season I don't think they dropped in their form as they look so solid like before and their experience about how to go about matches in the league has also been so I think they will have a better performance when we least expected because we are yet to get to the middle of the season. Arsenal is stronger this season they may not be the number one in the table but their performance alone says a lot about their experience and how they are trying to avoid injuries that could hinder them from challenging Liverpool and City in the title race, let's not underestimate the chances of Arsenal winning the league because they stand as one of the favourite Thai season.

Liverpool's draw against Arsenal puts Manchester City one point ahead of them so that Manchester City is currently leading the standings. The competition in the top three will be much more interesting because with a point difference that is not far away, it will provide opportunities for the three teams to shift positions in the standings. Manchester City is still very strong and Liverpool needs to work hard to make this season more proud for them.
It seems that this season's competition will be a little different from the previous two seasons, Liverpool are starting to enter the favorite team to win the trophy based on their current position, they are also only one point behind Manchester City who are at the top of the standings. Arsenal are also still in the title race, but their performance is not as consistent as last season, they are also starting to fall 5 points behind Manchester City and 4 points behind Liverpool. Matchday 10 gives Manchester City an advantage to maintain their position as they face Bournemouth, while Liverpool face Brighton and Arsenal face a tough game at Newcastle.
Well that's what you actually think, in my own perspective I still feels that Manchester city is gradually turning the English premier league into a farmers league, just like the German bundesliga, because all this fire the Liverpool team is showing right now will gradually dies down just as it was last season.

Though their is a new manager in charge of affairs, and most fans are expecting something different, but will Manchester city ever drop points and come down from that first position again? Don't I really don't think so.
I have the same thought as you at the moment, since Manchester City managed to dominate the Premier League we don't see the possibility for other teams to break their dominance, 4 consecutive seasons they have won the Premier League and I think it's time for other teams to be able to destroy their dominance or we will see no difference between the English League with the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 later,  Manchester City have great squad depth and consistency that makes them very difficult to beat, I hope Liverpool can show high spirits by maintaining their consistency throughout the season, so that we can see the Premier League can be competitive again with teams that take turns to win the league, but indeed breaking Manchester City's dominance is a huge challenge so Liverpool should not make mistakes later.

Manchester United patiently waited a long time to fire Ten Hag, but it is also great news that Ten Hag has been fired; he is no more Manchester United's head manager. This is the good news we have been waiting for before the beginning of the season, and the team chose to extend his contract. It was very annoying when I discovered the management extended Ten Hag's contract from the start of the season because their performance from the previous season was so poor and he did absolutely nothing to convince the management to renew the contract.

However, before the club chooses a manager to take Ten Hag's place, Ruud will continue to act as manager. It will take a long time for a manager to improve the team, and I don't believe appointing a new manager is going to improve Manchester United's performance right now because the players are so terrible.  The management should have sacked Ten Hag earlier in the season. Let's see how they perform against Leicester City tonight since Ruud will be in charge.
Amorim does not want to comment on his appointment as the new Manchester United manager, so Ruud van Nistelrooy will definitely be in charge in the cup match today. Changes in the team are always difficult, but in this case it had to be done and it had to be done a long time ago. Leicester is not an easy opponent, and they are their neighbors in the table, so anything can happen, but for the new manager, elimination from the cup can be in his favor, because he will need to strengthen the team and the fewer tournaments, the more time they will be able to devote to work in training.

That's good. The better for Amorim take over club after Chelsea's game. He needs an easier start. It will prevent a shock from the EPL's football culture. Also, it will give him more time to train with the players, prepare a tactic, and understand his club better.

But it's really disappointing. We only saw Ruud as an interim for one game. It's a shame he goes out like this. He was strongly linked to Manchester United for months before he ever got going at the club.

At least for now there is new hope although indeed this speculation still needs to be tested because we still cannot give any opinion for Ruud van Nistelrooy considering that he is still very new both in terms of coaching and experience and it must be difficult when he is faced with great expectations and pressure from internal and external.

At least this is still good enough for Manchester Untied because if you force Ten Hag, it could not go according to plan but for a new coach even though there is pressure in it but this is still understandable especially for van Nistelrooy, of course we know that he is not a new name at Mancehster United because he was at this club before so I don't think he will get much more difficult to adapt especially for some new coaches who are still relatively young sometimes understand more about players and can build chemistry quickly even though their status is only an interim coach.

Guardiola seems to have given Ruben Amorim a good assessment. And I believe Guadiola's assessment is always closer to the truth.
Sounds like Guardiola is a god in football coach community and everything he says is the truth, but I disagree with you.

He is still young at 39 years old. His achievements are quite good. In Portugal for 4 years he has had 3 titles with 6 trophies. This means that he is not bad for his current age. Furthermore, everything is difficult to predict. My hope is that he will soon adjust to the differences in Portuguese style of play. In addition to adjustments, of course, with a better game pattern.  Tomorrow Man United will appear in the EFL and this weekend they will play Chelsea. Hopefully Amorim can work soon and I'm quite curious about the style of play. But I often read he often uses 3-4-3 or 3-5-2.
Ruben Amorim is young and his success is in a small league, not top five leagues in Europe so moving to Premier League and coaching a big club like Manchester United will be a biggest challenge for his coach career so far.

Some young coaches gained massive success like Zidane, Xabi Alonso but some failed when moving to bigger clubs like Andre Villa-Boas, Nagelsman and Ruben Amorim will have to look at Andre Villa-Boas and try to learn some lessons from it, and consider more carefully about his decision of movement to Manchester United or continuation with Sporting Lisbon.

The close point gap last season between these three clubs was close to the end of the season, which Arsenal and Liverpool lost their matches, giving City the opportunity to top the table, and that was how the league ended because City didn't lose any of their matches. This season is still very long, and it is possible that one of these clubs, might drop points along the way, which will widen the point gap. There are many matches to play before the end of the season, and no one can predict accurately who will be the winner of this season EPL title.

To me Ruben Amorim may not be the best coach Manchester United needed because if he was that good Liverpool wouldn't have rejected him during the time they were looking for a manager and I believe the reason of there rejection is either he is not that good or something else and I also believe that Manchester City reacted the same way as Liverpool against Ruben Amorim, so actually with the situation of Manchester United they don't need a coach that was rejected by any club at all, unless his faith will be as that of Kompany who surprises everyone but I don't no if Ruben Amorim is capable of that, actually if Manchester United go through the same thing they did in the hands of Ten hag on Ruben Amorim that would be there downfall.

Yeah, I hope the trophy comes at the end of the season, Arteta must push the team for the wins but still take the Champions League seriously.
Silverware is all that is missing now from cementing Arteta and his squad's progression.
Arsenal could be so good for so long but not win the Premier League title.
Arteta must rotate the players given the competition and opposition but Arsenal can’t be trophyless this season.

Erik Ten Hag was finally fired, this is a decision that came too late. I couldn't understand M.United management, why did they fire him so late.
Erik Ten Hag has no success and this guy managed this team.
Very good news for M.United, I hope the team can return to its old days.

Yes they did but whichever way they have finally done that which seems to be very difficult for them do to all this while, the funniest part of it all is that the former manager being Erik Ten hag wasn't ready to improve, at a point I saw him as someone who has run out of ideas and was helpless but not ready to say his mind because of ego, am very happy that manchester United realized that it's high time for them to do the needful and save the club from a drawning reputation that has been kept over the years, I heard some folks say he is a good manager yes he was but not in Manchester United anymore, may be he can continue being good elsewhere but not necessarily Manchester United .

Exactly, though it takes time for the players to adapt with the pattern of a new manager be it a manager on acting capacity, it is not still that easy but I believe whosoever thats handling the team now will want to create a good impact, no doubt they players are not what they use to be, its now that the management will know whats really wrong with the team because most times players decide to frustrate a manager when they no longer want them and these things are not always noticeable, i think tonight game will prove some points too.

yeah that's right. Last season the same thing happened in the competition in the Premier League. Where Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City continuously take turns in first position. And something similar could happen again. It's just that last season Aston Villa and Tottenham surprised everyone because these two teams had overtaken the top ranking in a few weeks. But in the end, Arsenal and Man City are still in tight competition until the end of the season. And then Man City became winners as has happened in the past few seasons. And about your hopes regarding Arteta. I think there are many of us here who have the same hope. because if Man City wins the title again this season then it will really be a bit boring. because I want a new team to succeed at the top of this league. And Arsenal is also a suitable candidate. But we have to admit that up to now, Man City still deserves to be in first place.

I can't deny that I was also a little happy when I found out that the club had finally made the decision to fire Erik Ten Hag. because with Ten Hag gone we have new hope even though it is still uncertain. And yes of course it will take time for the new coach to improve everything in the Manchester United squad. But now I'm more curious about Manchester United's match against Leicester City, which will be Manchester United's first match without Ten Hag. Somehow I have an optimistic feeling. My prediction is that Manchester United players will surprise everyone. they will play better than usual. This is just my wild speculation.  Grin

Way too fucking late, but it's something i have guessed it in the past. they seemed still optimistic about Ten Hag, so they kept him a bit longer. I think it was a fair call to see what he could do with some changes to the club and to fix the mediocre culture. But this season has shown that Ten Hag wasn't able to change, and so, he deserved to be sacked by the club. Hopefully, they get the right coach to replace him.

Manchester United has actually been patient, but of course now Manchester United's patience has run out and it is now natural that Ten Hag has been fired by Manchester United. Hopefully Manchester United can soon get a new coach who can replace Ten Hag and what is certain is that now Manchester United is trying to find new coach.

and I read news on the internet that there are many candidates who have the potential to become the new Manchester United coach, including: Ruben, Amorim, Xavi,Zinedine Zidane, Graham Potter and Rood Van Nistelrooy

Source: https://www.cnnindonesia.com/olahraga/20241029115541-142-1160734/5-calon-pelatih-baru-mu-pengganti-erik-ten-hag/1

In my previous post in the different thread. i have mentioned that if Manchester United has reached an agreement with Amorim. Manchester United has agreed to trigger his release clause from Sporting Lisbon. It is around 10 million. So, other names than Amorim are not relevant anymore.

It's not only that. Sporting Lisbon is also offering Manchester United. They want Manchester United to trigger the fees to release Amorim's coaching staff. I think they will do it. Then, they will replace their staff with Amorim's. They want 5 millions to release Amorim's coaching staff + additional fees to release them immediately caused by there are still 30 days contract remaining.

Yes, just as these three teams finished the season very competitive last season, they are very competitive this season. Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal, the points of these three teams are not very big, so the three teams are trying hard to occupy the top position of the points table. Although currently Manchester City is a very successful and strong team due to which they have been able to occupy the top position of the points table since the beginning. The teams are competing as fiercely as last season, but the way Arsenal are going with their performances is certainly doubtful. But much of Liverpool's play is strong enough to change their position and lead the title race by the end of the season. Anyway, currently we can see that Manchester City is an unbeaten team in the Premier League so far, they have not lost yet. If they reach the end of the season with their strong performance like this, then they will play a role enough to win the championship this season as well.
