Amorim does not want to comment on his appointment as the new Manchester United manager, so Ruud van Nistelrooy will definitely be in charge in the cup match today.

To me Ruben Amorim may not be the best coach Manchester United needed because if he was that good Liverpool wouldn't have rejected him during the time they were looking for a manager and I believe the reason of there rejection is either he is not that good or something else and I also believe that Manchester City reacted the same way as Liverpool against Ruben Amorim, so actually with the situation of Manchester United they don't need a coach that was rejected by any club at all, unless his faith will be as that of Kompany who surprises everyone but I don't no if Ruben Amorim is capable of that, actually if Manchester United go through the same thing they did in the hands of Ten hag on Ruben Amorim that would be there downfall.

Liverpool's draw against Arsenal puts Manchester City one point ahead of them so that Manchester City is currently leading the standings. The competition in the top three will be much more interesting because with a point difference that is not far away, it will provide opportunities for the three teams to shift positions in the standings. Manchester City is still very strong and Liverpool needs to work hard to make this season more proud for them.
The current very thin difference in points between Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal really reminds me of the same moment last season. because I think last season the same thing happened. And it is hoped that the competition this time will be as fierce as last season until the end of the season. At the start of the season Arsenal looked more promising. but now I see them sometimes playing not according to expectations and it makes me have doubts. But hopefully my doubts are wrong. because I still want to hope that Arteta can finally bring Arsenal to win the Premier League title.

Yeah, I hope the trophy comes at the end of the season, Arteta must push the team for the wins but still take the Champions League seriously.
Silverware is all that is missing now from cementing Arteta and his squad's progression.
Arsenal could be so good for so long but not win the Premier League title.
Arteta must rotate the players given the competition and opposition but Arsenal can’t be trophyless this season.

Erik Ten Hag was finally fired, this is a decision that came too late. I couldn't understand M.United management, why did they fire him so late.
Erik Ten Hag has no success and this guy managed this team.
Very good news for M.United, I hope the team can return to its old days.

Manchester United patiently waited a long time to fire Ten Hag, but it is also great news that Ten Hag has been fired; he is no more Manchester United's head manager. This is the good news we have been waiting for before the beginning of the season, and the team chose to extend his contract. It was very annoying when I discovered the management extended Ten Hag's contract from the start of the season because their performance from the previous season was so poor and he did absolutely nothing to convince the management to renew the contract.

However, before the club chooses a manager to take Ten Hag's place, Ruud will continue to act as manager. It will take a long time for a manager to improve the team, and I don't believe appointing a new manager is going to improve Manchester United's performance right now because the players are so terrible.  The management should have sacked Ten Hag earlier in the season. Let's see how they perform against Leicester City tonight since Ruud will be in charge.

Yes they did but whichever way they have finally done that which seems to be very difficult for them do to all this while, the funniest part of it all is that the former manager being Erik Ten hag wasn't ready to improve, at a point I saw him as someone who has run out of ideas and was helpless but not ready to say his mind because of ego, am very happy that manchester United realized that it's high time for them to do the needful and save the club from a drawning reputation that has been kept over the years, I heard some folks say he is a good manager yes he was but not in Manchester United anymore, may be he can continue being good elsewhere but not necessarily Manchester United .

Exactly, though it takes time for the players to adapt with the pattern of a new manager be it a manager on acting capacity, it is not still that easy but I believe whosoever thats handling the team now will want to create a good impact, no doubt they players are not what they use to be, its now that the management will know whats really wrong with the team because most times players decide to frustrate a manager when they no longer want them and these things are not always noticeable, i think tonight game will prove some points too.

yeah that's right. Last season the same thing happened in the competition in the Premier League. Where Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City continuously take turns in first position. And something similar could happen again. It's just that last season Aston Villa and Tottenham surprised everyone because these two teams had overtaken the top ranking in a few weeks. But in the end, Arsenal and Man City are still in tight competition until the end of the season. And then Man City became winners as has happened in the past few seasons. And about your hopes regarding Arteta. I think there are many of us here who have the same hope. because if Man City wins the title again this season then it will really be a bit boring. because I want a new team to succeed at the top of this league. And Arsenal is also a suitable candidate. But we have to admit that up to now, Man City still deserves to be in first place.

I can't deny that I was also a little happy when I found out that the club had finally made the decision to fire Erik Ten Hag. because with Ten Hag gone we have new hope even though it is still uncertain. And yes of course it will take time for the new coach to improve everything in the Manchester United squad. But now I'm more curious about Manchester United's match against Leicester City, which will be Manchester United's first match without Ten Hag. Somehow I have an optimistic feeling. My prediction is that Manchester United players will surprise everyone. they will play better than usual. This is just my wild speculation.  Grin

Way too fucking late, but it's something i have guessed it in the past. they seemed still optimistic about Ten Hag, so they kept him a bit longer. I think it was a fair call to see what he could do with some changes to the club and to fix the mediocre culture. But this season has shown that Ten Hag wasn't able to change, and so, he deserved to be sacked by the club. Hopefully, they get the right coach to replace him.

Manchester United has actually been patient, but of course now Manchester United's patience has run out and it is now natural that Ten Hag has been fired by Manchester United. In my previous post in the different thread. i have mentioned that if Manchester United has reached an agreement with Amorim. Manchester United has agreed to trigger his release clause from Sporting Lisbon. It is around 10 million. So, other names than Amorim are not relevant anymore.

It's not only that. Sporting Lisbon is also offering Manchester United. They want Manchester United to trigger the fees to release Amorim's coaching staff. I think they will do it. Then, they will replace their staff with Amorim's. They want 5 millions to release Amorim's coaching staff + additional fees to release them immediately caused by there are still 30 days contract remaining.

Yes, just as these three teams finished the season very competitive last season, they are very competitive this season. Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal, the points of these three teams are not very big, so the three teams are trying hard to occupy the top position of the points table. Although currently Manchester City is a very successful and strong team due to which they have been able to occupy the top position of the points table since the beginning. The teams are competing as fiercely as last season, but the way Arsenal are going with their performances is certainly doubtful. But much of Liverpool's play is strong enough to change their position and lead the title race by the end of the season. Anyway, currently we can see that Manchester City is an unbeaten team in the Premier League so far, they have not lost yet. If they reach the end of the season with their strong performance like this, then they will play a role enough to win the championship this season as well.

City are temporarily at the top of the league pending the outcome of today's star match between Arsenal and Liverpool. I also think the match will end in a draw because the last two games in the Premiership between both sides ended in a draw. A draw will favour Manchester City, but a loss for Liverpool will also be better for them.

It seems that this season's competition will be a little different from the previous two seasons, Liverpool are starting to enter the favorite team to win the trophy based on their current position, they are also only one point behind Manchester City who are at the top of the standings. Arsenal are also still in the title race, but their performance is not as consistent as last season, they are also starting to fall 5 points behind Manchester City and 4 points behind Liverpool. Matchday 10 gives Manchester City an advantage to maintain their position as they face Bournemouth, while Liverpool face Brighton and Arsenal face a tough game at Newcastle.
Compared from Arsenal, this season Liverpool has a great chance to continue to maintain their form and even overtake Manchester City later, so far they have shown great consistency and continue to be able to be Manchester City's closest competitor in the standings with only one point behind, I think after the draw they got against Arsenal then every game starts to become very crucial to determine their chances of becoming This season's cup contenders, although Liverpool have looked tough so far, however, we can't ignore Manchester City as the main favorites to win the league, they have a very strong squad and experience in the title race, so I think it will be difficult for other teams to stop them from defending the title this season, while Arsenal, it seems that their chances are getting smaller  to become championship this season, not because of their point difference with Manchester City or Liverpool at the moment, but I think player injuries that are starting  disrupt stability and consistency will be a big obstacle for Arsenal this season to win the championship.

The 2-2 draw between Arsenal and Liverpool only gave Man City an advantage in the championship race. Once again, “The Citizens” took the initiative in the championship race.
Man City's schedule is relatively light, helping them easily maintain the upper hand. Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City players will want to maximize points from their games against Bournemouth and Brighton to maintain the pressure. Liverpool have a difficult time when they return home to welcome Brighton and Aston Villa - two opponents who have caused them trouble in the past. Arteta's Arsenal are different now than they were two seasons ago, but the mentality is weighing on them. Plus, after the Liverpool game, they will face Newcastle and Chelsea, teams that cost them points last season.
Liverpool and Arsenal are unlikely to have enough courage to stop Man City, I doubt Pep Guardiola's team will continue to dominate the tournament.

Leicester is not an easy opponent, and they are their neighbors in the table, so anything can happen, but for the new manager, elimination from the cup can be in his favor, because he will need to strengthen the team and the fewer tournaments, the more time they will be able to devote to work in training.

The EPL is always interesting every year because the competition is not only for the first and second positions but the competition in the 3rd and 4th positions is also no less interesting every season, even at the end of the season the competition to escape the relegation zone is also very interesting to always follow.

Man City is now at the top of the standings but it is not safe for them because the difference in points is only one with Liverpool and five points from Arsenal and Aston Villa. The match has only been running for 9 matches, of course the EPL is still very long and anything can happen. All teams still have hope, especially with a tight schedule, of course it will affect the performance of each team, which is likely to be teams that will slip. So the EPL league will remain competitive until the end of the season.

I don't understand why the United management has been patient with Ten Hag for so long. Manchester United has a lot of problems and a change of manager will not solve all of them, but Ten Hag is the worst manager I have seen in the last years and his departure will bring Manchester United to a much better place. I am also looking forward to Ruud's performance as Manchester United head coach.

It seems that many people don't understand the reason behind the Manchester United club's patience in keeping Ten Hag longer before he was finally fired. Many have hoped that Manchester United will get a new coach since the end of last season. But the club instead retained Ten Hag and the result is that now Manchester United is really in a slump. And now the club is looking for a new coach. And several names have been associated with this. And what I read is that Ruben Amorim also seems to be a candidate to replace Ten Hag. And it is reported that Manchester United is ready to pay the release clause for the Sporting Lisbon coach. It's just that Ruben Amorim doesn't seem to have made any decisions about this. And I don't know much about Ruben Amorim. So I can't judge whether he will be a good coach for Manchester United or not. But Pep Guardiola seems to have given Ruben Amorim a good assessment. And I believe Guadiola's assessment is always closer to the truth. (Sourch)

With this news, I think Ten Hag failed to coach Manchester United because looking at the statistics, the difference with the others is quite far, besides that with his own record in all competitions, he has a fairly good record in the EPL and FA but in Europe Manchester United can only win 9 matches out of 21 matches.

With the dismissal of Ten Hag, of course Manchester United must get a coach who is right for them, with several candidates who are likely to replace Ten Hag are Gareth Southgate, Xavi Hernandez, Julian Nagelsmann, Thomas Frank, and Ruben Amorim.
Who knows who will coach Manchester United in the future, but what is clear is that they must get a coach who can make them better than they are now.

premierleague

Remove Southgate from the list because I don't think he will make a good replacement of Ten Hang. Manchester united currently need someone that will bring attacking football back to the team because that is how they have been playing before until lately that things changed for bad. I know it will take whoever they bring in as a new couch a couple of times to fix the mess. Amorim will not be bad tracing his records back to Sporting. At Sporting, he stamped his philosophy and built a legacy making the club better and beat the likes of Porto and Benfica. He achieved this building the team from foundation. Truth be told, every manager will be scared to take United job right now because of pressure and high expectations.

Yes, now Ten Hag is just a memory and of course Erik Ten Hag has given Manchester United sweet memories, such as having presented the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and of course I want to say goodbye to Ten Hag and of course I hope he has a better career elsewhere.

No doubt ten hag has given Manchester United sweet memories. What about the pain and hurt that came along with the sweet memories? Manchester United wanted more than just winning domestic trophies. But to have a style and pattern of play. Which the team lacks this. Winning those trophies was just luck on Manchester United side. Else they don’t deserve it with the way they play.
Hopefully the new coach Amorim who is all social media as the potential replacement for ten hag can implement what he has done in sporting in Manchester United.

After a long wait for fans, Eric has now returned to his home country, the Netherlands, after the defeat against West Ham was his last night at Man United, but that's what happened to him, karma for throwing away important players at Man United last season, now karma for him to be thrown away, and I see the current Sporting Lisbon coach is the main view for Man United management in handling Man United, his name is Amorin, he has said yes to the Man United club to leave Sporting and Man United hijacked him and had to pay for it, and I think he is quite good at handling Sporting but there is no doubt for me that he will escape the next sacking at Man United because the pressure there is quite high and I ask that he can be mentally stronger in handling Man United.

Amorin himself once worked at Man United as Mourinho's assistant at that time and now they trust him as the next head coach to replace Ten Hag, hopefully the darkness at Man United will end soon after he comes.

In my personal opinion, it seems that the club management gave Ten Hag time because he managed to win the FA Cup. There were many news and demands from fans to fire Ten Hag in the previous season. But surprisingly, Ten Hag managed to give United the FA Cup title and made them qualify for the UEL even though they were in 8th place in the standings. So the club management was still kind and patient and gave Ten Hag a chance to improve his performance this season. And unfortunately he failed to meet the club's expectations. United still gave Ten Hag a budget to shop for players but unfortunately the team's performance was still bad. I think this is not a late decision because they have only played in 9 matches. Hopefully Ruud van Nistelrooy can improve United's performance this season.
