Actually a different reason why the clubs wouldn't want it cancelled and voided. They get money from the games being played. And TV money when it is televised. Cancelled and they get neither.
Exactly, during the postponed match, all clubs also lost money in terms of ticket revenue. The desire to continue the season can not be separated from the club's financial income, there is a lot of income if the season continues and it seems you have already said.

Serie A is likely to continue and as an EPL fan, I also hope that this season can be continued with various considerations. The health of the player and all staff must be a priority if the season continues.

Sorry I have no merit left. You would surely deserve a few here.

I really like Watford and to me the league should continue Cheesy. I don't know if watford will be going out of regulation zone, if the season doesn't get completed I really hope at least they won't finish it like this, just keep the teams there and do not regulate them at all. That way watford is guaranteed to not go down, better idea to me actually instead of continue to play Cheesy. Guess the best way to find out is time, we gonna have to wait and see whats going to happen.

Even if league continues I think watford has a good chance to stay, if it doesn't continue it hurts Liverpool more than any other team, they could have been over 100 points by now, so lets hope league reopens and we can see a very record breaking and historical season. Historical because both points but also corona Cheesy.

I think they have been referring to the fans of the clubs, not the clubs(owners, mangers & players)itself. I think the players and the clubs would want to finish the season, for the players, they enjoy playing football and have been without it for two months already, so they would want to get their legs busy. The club owners would want it more, this is were they get their money from and they have already invested into the season, they would not want to lose that.

But for the fans, it's different, if you do not want Liverpool to win the league, you'll pray the season gets cancelled Grin.

Of course for the lowest club wants this season to be canceled because by not playing from what is left then they will be relegated of course for them it hurts because this is a very unexpected mistake, but I have not seen news whether in the season there will be a relegation club ?

Why would they (if you are referring to bottom 3)? They still have so many matches left and they still have chance to move up the table. Finalizing the season would leave them in relegation spot. SO they would rather choose the season to continue rather than getting cancelled.

I would say the teams just above the bottom 3 would be feeling like this but apart from them I don't think other teams are wishing for season to get cancelled.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

I’m sure all the crap teams down the bottom want to void the season but that’s not because they're worried about peoples lives. It’s because they’re having absolute failure seasons & don’t want to be relegated.

For the integrity of the sport the season will be completed.

Is it possible that this season there will only be an ordinary championship and no best team or award to other players?

i would just add, it should be completed, since we can not decide whether or or that is going to happen, in EPL my team is Everton, and yes, i have lost interest in this season long before the covid crisis

This season has lost totally the interest of the fans.
With discussions that I am making with people they do not really care anymore about the EPL matches and if Liverpool or any other team is going to get the title. All leagues are a mess and it would something just to be done to finish the league.

Probably they support a team like Spurs or Arsenal who have had crap seasons & now nothing to play for?

Liverpool - About to win first league title for 30 years
Leicester - Desperate to grab a deserved CL spot
Man Utd - Trying to get into the CL
Chelsea - Trying to get into the CL
Wolves & Sheff United - Trying to get Europa League football (outside shot of CL spot)
Then you have City who want to try & win the CL still

Fans of all those clubs will not want the season to end.

I’m sure all the crap teams down the bottom want to void the season but that’s not because they're worried about peoples lives. It’s because they’re having absolute failure seasons & don’t want to be relegated.

I'm 99% sure they'd be happier if the season gets voided and liverpool are not crowned champions  Grin
It is because they hate Liverpool. For real logical fans, I believe they all agree that Liverpool deserve the title this season.
Lol My grammatical mistake, of course I meant the title of football champion of England, not Europe 😀😀
I do know you meant about the Premier League's title, not the Champions League because we all here to discuss about the Premier League.
It would be unfair to Liverpool supporters should have waited so long for a premier league title to finally get so close to the finish line and see it blown away. But I don't think it would be an injustice, it's a very delicate matter involving the lives of millions of people indirectly, and that has to be put into consideration, and the league champion has not yet been mathematically decided.

I think some Liverpool fans would rather not be awarded the league and have the respect of all the other teams as the best team of the season, than to be handed a title which would be challenged by rival clubs for a long time.
A decision would have to be made soon by the league, to ease the nerves of the players and club supporters.
No matter how the season finishes (fully finished with all matches or canceled or totally stopped but having chosen winner), Liverpool deserve recognition of the football fans but without a title, one or 2 decades later, no one will remember Liverpool and their performance this season. I think the best one is resume the league; the second one is giving the title to Liverpool like what Ligue I gave it to PSG. The worst is cancel the league, no title, no results of this season will be recorded and taken into consideration for next season.

If the worst case scenario happens for Liverpool, and the season is cancelled completely, most fans are likely to conclude that there is something in the ''curse'' of Liverpool.
A couple of years ago, when they were the best with Suarez, Gerard slipped and it was all over, they lost the title of champion.
This year they had such dominance in the league that seemed that nothing can stop them, and that after 30 years their curse will be gone.
And when they couldn't lose more on the football field, the corona got involved and stopped them  Cheesy

In that case, Liverpool would lose their Champions League title.
It would be a great injustice but nothing is yet certain or decided.

Of course there will be fanatic fans who always want to see their favorite club play even though it is done with very strict guarding, but whether the EPL top brass will make decisions like the French league who made their championship termination this season, PSG.
And if the EPL decides like that, of course it's clear that Liverpool must accept the trophy because the points are so different from the second position so I hope there is a decision like that and the match does not need to be continued.
If titles should be given to dominant club, in Premier League, it is Liverpool. I don't think there are any reasons to say Liverpool don't deserve the title this season. Even Pep Guardiola and Manchester City fans will glad to see Liverpool get the honorable title if the season won't be resumed and finished.

I am sure that Liverpool don't want to get title this way and sure they want to finish the season and get the league's tittle as officially and normally as possible but who knows.
They won champions league last year, they have already won it, there is no coming back from that and nobody can cancel that. Even on the worst of the situations Liverpool doesn't get the league title this year which they totally deserved because they were having a record breaking games and record breaking points probably, so that would be sad, but even on that horrible situation for them, nobody is taking away their champions league champions title at all, that was last year and done with.

I do believe the leagues will resume eventually, but even if they do not, European cups will be played next year, and leagues will have to send some teams, you reckon they won't send Liverpool? There is no way they won't send them, so the worst case in my mind is nobody wins champions league this year, that's it.

Wait what? they also winning the champions league now. Wow.

They totally dominated Atletico in the game at Anfield & really deserved to go through but Atleti rode their luck & qualified for the 1/4 final fair & square. Liverpool are out & there will be a new champion of europe this season when play finally starts again.

Liverpool only need 6 points out of 9 games to 100% claim the title don’t they? I don’t see any problems for them. I think it’ll hurt the teams down the bottom more who are fighting to stay up.
I was referring to the next season. A shaky start due to not having a home advantage could be a deciding factor towards the end of the season for teams who have a great run at home like liverpool and man city.

Even Pep Guardiola and Manchester City fans will glad to see Liverpool get the honorable title if the season won't be resumed and finished.

I don't think all clubs in England agree with this proposal.
Somewhere I read that West Ham and some other clubs, suggested that the whole season should be cancelled if can't end normally.

They will because of what they were going through before the league was postponed and I am sure these will be teams who are currently just on the line to relegation zone. Take West Ham for example, they are usually good but this season they have so many injuries, Pellegrini sacked. This season it is totally disaster for them so obviously they would opt down for the season to be cancelled so that they can escape from relegation scare.

I think season to continue would be the fairest thing to happen but situation is not letting it happen.

I know that Liverpool wants to win that title perfectly, meaning that with all the matches in the EPL, but what if the conditions are still not stable in England maybe Liverpool must accept all the decisions because of winning he has the right to win the title perfectly.
In that case, Liverpool would lose their Champions League title.
This season Liverpool have lost the league title because they have been beaten by Atl Madrid, but for the next season they remain in the UCL competition.
It would be a great injustice but nothing is yet certain or decided.
And I think this is fair for EPL
