Temporary forum vacation

Arteta seems to know what he’s doing, City fell apart a bit when he left too. I wouldn’t write Arsenal off from finishing in the top 4 next season my friend.

As a Spurs fan, of course I always hope that Arsenal do not do well,,, or at least, never finish above us;) But I agree here people like Arteta have a good sense of coaching and as former players they also understand the guys on the field who kick the ball. I think Arsenal can go up if they fix their very old issues of mentality (same as Spurs, mentality issues).

Great, another team to join the same route as Chelsea's and Man city's last decade...
- In other words: As an Arsenal fan, there will be little to no chance of finishing in the top 4 next season [again] Cry

How reliable that source is?

This is not easy for them as now competition is wide open and few teams doing good for next season hopefully we have good resistance from all for top 4 spots.

Excellent news for the fans of Newcastle United!
SAUDI Prince Mohammed bin Salman will soon become majority owner of the Newcastle for £300m.

Exciting news for the club but they shouldn't get their hopes too up (speaking to the fans) as I doubt the like of the top 4 teams will seat down and let Newcastle overthrown then in regards to paying in the champions league. They might have the funds available but that doesn't mean they'll get the players they want as these days the players tend to choose clubs reputation over their wages, (e.g Ighalo choosing to stay at Manchester United irrespective of the outrageous wages his current club, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua F.C. is willing to pay for his return).

Players want to win medals and trophies so I don't see the like of the top players choosing to play for Newcastle over the big clubs that could get them those medals in the shortest time possible irrespective of what Newcastle offer to pay them. The reason why the likes of Chelsea and Manchester city story was a success is because they were already top teams but for Newcastle, maybe completing for the top 6 will be their highest achievement but that too won't be easy considering the competition currently in the league.

Not sure from the article about their original source in this story.

Excellent news for the fans of Newcastle United!
SAUDI Prince Mohammed bin Salman will soon become majority owner of the Newcastle for £300m.
The club's chief executive will become Jamie Reuben and it's expected that he will be active in the market and bring many new players.
Money will not be problem.
It looks like the new coach will be Massimiliano Allegri and he will receive a budget of 400 million euros for the next transitional period of footballers.
It's obvious that the new leadership of the club preparing the team that will attack the very top of the league.

There is rumours that the flag in Newcastle emblem will be switched to a chainsaw? (of course not).
I see this as an awful way from him to clean his bloody picture in Western countries, a bribe or anything similar to this. The group supported by him should be ashamed to be backed by someone as evil as him!

Good news, I saw an article today also saying possibly the PL restarts early June, hopefully there’s some truth to that.
A restart from early June is far from reality to me. That's just roughly 2 months away and the new infection and death tool curve for the UK and most European countries hasn't even flattened.

Yeah Spain and UK have different situations at hand and yet somehow they are quite similar in many ways, well all nations all around the world, we are all same in a way right now, the way that we should stay at home otherwise we will get infected and if we get infected the chances of us infecting someone else increases so as many people as possible should stay isolated right now, spain or UK or any other nation.

However UK has 88k cases of infected with over 10k dead, thats a HUGE number, comparing that to Spain who has 170k infected yet only 16k dead, you see thats still a bit high but at least understandable. The example of "good" result is probably Germany, still sad that they lost a bit over 3k to it they have 130k people infected so thats a very great number if you ask me, thats why I think Bundesliga may come back sooner than any other league, Premier league still has a long way to go and Spain is right in the middle.

I just saw a news article Spain are relaxing their lockdown.

We couldn't say the same thing for UK as you can see the death toll in United Kingdom recently surpassed the 10,000 mark and as of today there are 4,000+ new cases for them, the pandemic situation in that country is simply not getting any better for them. Also when Spain says they will "ease" the lockdown it only means that certain jobs related to producing goods will be open for business since they also need these businesses to produce the basic needs of that country, it doesn't necessarily mean that even LaLiga will resume their season soon.

This is a sad news for Liverpool(and fans)and also every football fan, Kenny Dalglish is a legend who has achieved quite a lot, I hope he recovers quickly without complications.

Does anyone have news on the recovery process of other footballers and mangers who have contracted the virus, like: Arteta, Hodson, Dybala and others, how are they doing now?

Daglish has been discharged from the hospital in order to recover at home since he was still not showing any symptoms 1 and Arteta should be fully recovered already, the last I read about was that he was in a very good phase of recovery already. I'm sure others too are not having any complications and they'd have been reported if they do.

If there are no news regarding the others, that could mean their recovery process is not as good as Daglish's.

Also this, not everything will be reported as some manager tend to hide the situation of their player incase they suffer from some thing

So they definitely watch and try to control what they eat. Ignoring what they eat just because the workout every day would be irresponsible. Why do you think Ronaldo Senior had problems with his weigh despite being an athlete? Hazard after the move to Madrid?

What a player he was, the original Ronaldo R9, such a shame he had such bad injuries. He would have been better & done more than Messi & Cristiano if he’d stayed fit.

And I agree about good food being important, Firmino always comes back to pre season training a bit overweight. Football players are normal people, they don’t want to work all year round like most of us. When the cat is away the mice will play if you understand me. When the coach isn’t there watching every day some players will break a few rules. Actually I just remembered Firmino got banned from driving during the Xmas period a few years ago for being drunk behind the wheel.
