When you hear the news that the prime minister of a country is treated in intensive care then it really creates the panic among the people and those who do not believe the severity of this covid19 before, would started to believe after hearing such news.
That's something I agree with. Many people will be shocked and will start realising how serious the situation is!
Am I the only one who thinks that it's a bad ideas for the Premier League to re-open only to be played behind closed doors? I mean not ticket sales, merchandise sales even advertising will be low. It's not a good idea in my opinion. I think it's best if football is postponed indefinitely till we're certain that the war against the pandemic is over. When the dust has settled, only then should the Premier League be allowed to be resumed.
Playing with spectators is the best option if it was possible. Currently or even until May (at least), having 25% than normal spectators (separated) with +200% tickets' price might resolve financial problems of clubs but it will be a disaster for the NHS and the community.
It is known now that the spread of corona in Italy, Spain, France was accelerated by UEFA games. Better to not make the same mistake twice. They can make money from additional TV banners during the game or whatever method they like. Fans can cry while watching games in TV, better than being buried without the presence of their families when hospitals become overcrowded...
