Tonight there is only one match and of course there will be plenty on this match.
I am sure Tottenham will continue to have ambitions to win with Southampton because this is to fight for the quarter-finals of Southampton will be conquered by Spurs because their game has begun to show its best.
Norwich are waiting to fight with Spurs, let's see.

It won't be easy. Southampton made some good attack movements in last game against Liverpool. I think BTTS will be a good choice here.

Spurs made it when City were 1 down otherwise City were dominating the whole game. It is yet to say that Spurs are back on its track.

Even though Southampton had made a good attack on Liverpool in the match before it remained, they didn't score or score any goals, meaning that Southampton is still not on the right track and still loses with a lot of scores.
I am sure Spurs have found the real match so tonight's match they won't waste it let alone this is for competition in the FA cup.

I mean to think that Liverpool doesn't have decent youngsters is just plain old wrong, they are one of the best teams in the whole world right now and I know they usually buy their players from other teams but they also get young players they seem to like as well and they train them to their current system so it wouldn't be really a shock to see them win like this, not saying that young team would have any chance in premier league to be in top 5 or even top 10, but beating Shrewsbury Town is something they can definitely do without any issues at all, they are just good enough for that, but it was some serious team at high levels of FA cup, I am sure klopp would just put the main line up just in case, I don't think he just gives up on FA cup this easily.

And they won it!

The youngsters played really well. Made more than 12 shots and 4 of them are on target. Though the winning goal came from an own goal, I think it was well deserved.

Reminder that Liverpool will play tonight against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup. Klopp might field a weak team (like the one who lost to Aston Villa 5-0)..not sure why though since: 1) Liverpool doesn't have any fixtures next weekend. 2) The next important game will be on 18th agaist Atletico Madrid so, the squad could have like two weeks to rest after this game.

No wonder Liverpool ML is currently @2.01 odds. I can't imagine Liverpool's U23 losing to a 3rd division team, that would be pretty embarrasing, tbh..it could mean no chance of winning the treble...I guess Klopp prioritizes getting a bigger lead in the league table over the possibility of winning the treble..weird, isn't it?

I think he explained it before already. The English FA asked all the teams in EPL to respect the new winter break, not to play any games not even in friendlies. So they promised.

Then the FA asks them to play in the break. So he made his promise come true and he played the smaller and younger squad. I think this is not weird at all.

And they won it!

I don't think pep can be fired this season, no matter where city ends up in the EPL table, his performances with city in the last two EPL seasons when they were champions twice in a row should grant him that immunity. And I also don't think city will go totally trophyless, they are already in the carabao cup final against Aston Villa, still also in the fa cup and UCL, so there could be some consolation and maybe even more.
Sure he may not get fired.
One thing i know about PEP is that he's the kind of Coach who wants things to always go perfect and leave a trail of record. So far in Manchester City, things haven't been so smooth for him like they were in Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

I also have  a feeling he will just leave without getting fired

They have one of the best managers out there and they won't just part ways with a proven Champions League veteran to their competition.
His pedigree in the Champions League is one of the main reasons why city bought him and maybe another reason why he'll still be in the job for while, but then that makes his UCL chase a priority, he can't continue to fail in that competition, and things aren't easy this season with Madrid waiting in a fortnight.
City are reluctant to splash the cash until the summer, but i see Pep, calling it a quit and another sabbatical when the season ends. I hope he proves otherwise though.
City is a team garnished with arrays of talents in every position, they just had too many injuries this season, and with the amount they usually spend on transfers, you do not expect the manager to call for players anytime a transfer window(such as that in January)opens. Pep wouldn't be calling it quit with city, I think I read somewhere some weeks back that he'll be in the job as long as city do not fire him.

If there were mistakes like yesterday again it might be a dismissal for Pep,

Pep is not known to get sacked, most times he walks away and flee from the challenge available.
I do not think city will go trophy-less, but their performances this season is far and well underwhelming.

Right now City is very good in two cups Cardoba Cup and FA CUP these two in their pocket and for Champions League they have fairly outsider chance but not in frame for me but this could be also good for them as they will go with 2 domestic cups have chance to be on second or third position may be Pepe will be here for next one more season and he regroup his team for next years title.

That's not certain for sure, a lot of things can happen with still a lot of games left and any manager's position is uncertain especially when their own fans call their head. Just like what happened to Maurizio Sarri when Chelsea had the best sacking experience for him pretending that he was just transferring to Juventus as their manager, but the truth is they really don't want him anymore. But considering this is Man City and their history of testing out their managers for a long time, I don't think that they will be sacking Pep Guardiola this season. They have one of the best managers out there and they won't just part ways with a proven Champions League veteran to their competition.

It is too soon to say anything. Pep is not a young boy, he is one of the best manager world have ever seen. The team may have lost their way in home league but Champions League is entirely different.
Pep has one of the worst season since the day he became a manager and built up his reputation with Barcelona. I thought Pep has been in the worst period in his career. I won't go to surprised if Pep will get sacked at the end of this season.

If there were mistakes like yesterday again it might be a dismissal for Pep, but if it is able to restore Mancity to how it used to be then it can be maintained.
Say this season Mancity will not be the champion because it differs so much from Liverpool then in the next season if Pep still has a chance at Mancity then he must be able to change and apply the game of Tiki-taka like the time when he was coaching Barcelona.

Honestly, even without this they were like 19 points ahead of the closest team, with just 22 point difference nowadays, it feels like the gift was for Leicester City and not for Liverpool, at least now Leicester literally has a chance to be second when its all said and done instead of third place and that would really be the end of Peps time in City for sure since after all that money spent, they can't just accept Pep to finish at third and still keep him there.

I don't know how many managers will be available in the off season but managers change teams a lot easier than players so I assume City could just pay a good manager ton of money to convince them. I am also happy for Mourinho because he didn't deserved to be an unemployed coach, dude is better than that.

Shrewsbury will probably win tonight & set up a 1/4 final with Chelsea. Would be huge for a small clubs finances if they can. I don’t think Klopp will care much though.

It will play in the Anfiled field and of course only 2 will play but in a pretty good performance after yesterday's match too, is it possible that Shrewsbury was able to beat him tonight? is it possible?
Although Klopp did not care about it, they would still pursue it to get the trophy.

And Klopp can't risk getting more injuries (esp. vs a club that could try playing their hearts out) with the CL KO fixtures coming in a couple of weeks.

It's not worth it.

Among all coaches in the world, Pep has spent most money in transfer window for one team in last decade. He had the vision for Manchester City and still trying to build the team of his dream. It will be wrong to fire him after the end of this season because his team is still under development and it may take two more years for squad to fully grow.
However, being a Barca fan I would love to see this happening. I am sure that if Pep is sacked from Manchester, his next stop will be Barcelona and I can't wait to see Messi and him playing together again.
