United need a whole new spine of their team. Aside from De Gea the spine is weak as fuck.

Who is their beast CB, somebody they rely on?
Who is their main midfielder, their leader who wins games by controlling the CM?
Who is their world class striker who scores 20 goals every season?

The answer to the 3 questions above is nobody. They need a whole new spine before they even think about competing for the title.

Answer No 1. Maguire, 2. Pogba, 3. None. lol, they didn't have a pure striker like RVP. oh my bad, they have but they also sell it to inter Milan lol
Ed Woodward was fooled by many players agents and clubs because he had too much money and underestimated the role of sports director lol

Maguire is a big donkey with the turning circle of an oil tanker. Pogba is either past his best or just doesn’t want to be there. He hasn’t been a regular world class player for Man Utd the whole time he’s been there. United are in trouble, big trouble.

This week there was a very interesting duel, Manchester City vs Chelsea. Do you think there will be a goal party at etihad? Seeing Chelsea's defense is a bit fragile this season. When it comes to scoring goals I don't doubt Chelsea at all. They have a very good attack line. However, the defense needs to be improved. However, there are many players from the two teams who play for their respective countries. I will bet Manchester City win this week.
Manchester City may be suffering from a lot of injuries at this very moment but that doesn't mean that Chelsea are going to be that much of a threat to them in the upcoming games. True Chelsea's defense has been a bit wobbly because they seem to concede a lot of goals whiles they score more. Manchester City defense is also ravaged with injuries with their goalkeeper currently out injured if no return date in sight.
So do you think the match will end in a draw? actually I hope Manchester City can win so they can again put pressure on Liverpool. I respect Chelsea as a big English club in the last 15 years. But this season is not theirs. City and Liverpool are better prepared. So I will be championing Mancester City to win regardless of the conditions of their current squad after the international break and his injury Ederson

I believe Manchester United are in need of a more established striker to complete their squad. The team desperately needs a leader and a winner who has succeeded at various stages in their careers. Halland is a prodigy who has a bright future, but the United fans want an instant impact. I don't think a deal for Madison would be possible this season, he and Leicester are having a phenomenal season so far and I wouldn't advise him to tweak that.

Manchester United are one point away from being 5th and in a Europa League spot next season. Arsenal are joint 5th place with Sheffield United.

I do not see Manchester United finishing in the top 4 until they go on a decent run and that coincides with Leicester City dropping points because right now you cannot say Manchester City or Chelsea will drop more points than Leicester.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham will be there fighting for a 4th/5th place finish alongside Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

From now until 31st December nearly all these teams will be playing 8 Premier League games so that means any team can gain up to 24 points if they will them all. Anything can happen and things will definitely change. Revisiting the Premier League table on 1st January 2020 it will be looking different to what we see right now.

United had Lukaku who was a great striker and it didn't make any difference.
Now Lukaku left the Manchester and he is one of the most "in form" strikers in Europe - maybe the second one behind Lewandowski. United needs something more than just a striker.

If Manchester United able to have Leader in this transfer window then surely they will able to have some good position in league and this is going to be very posiitve for them as right now they are not bad at all but lack of good striker hurting them very badly we all can hope this could be solved and they will be in.

Yeah someone to go along with Rashford and capable of scoring. I think I read news earlier on related to Manchester United interested in buying Juventus striker Mario Mandžukić. He is good and capable but he is getting old so I think United should think of someone playing for them in long term I guess.

They had to tighten their defense also. There are so many things going on wrong for them.

Mandzukic as a striker can indeed be relied upon for his team. I am also happy in terms of Mandzukic play but indeed he is old past in stamina it will not be long, and I think Halland will be the right target for his troops MU,
But we will see the transfer opened.

Probably not a bad idea considering the United situation right now. They need to win and get back their confidence, and even if it's for 1 season only, getting a new deadly striker who doesn't need a very long time to settle in a new team is definitely a good choice.

You can talk about long-term after that. First, you need to win and solve your problem. Getting him on loan is probably not so bad too.

Hmm.. Short-term is also not a bad idea. With lack of playing , I think deal is gonna probably happen in upcoming transfer and Juventus are not hoping for a big deal for him^^ as well as the sources say. It's gonna help out young players in United as well so a very good transfer target.

Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10240942/manchester-united-deal-sign-juventus-outcast-mario-mandzukic/

Whatever it may be, there will be interesting transfers in this upcoming transfer window with lots of additions to major teams in EPL (as I am expecting).

I agree with you if what you mean is this. at least Chelsea will be a threat to the lane champion of Manchester City. but it seems that Chelsea cannot play Pulisic because he is still injured and it can become a benefit for Manchester City in these match
the competition is still long I think Leicester City chances of maintaining second place will be quite difficult considering its competitors are big clubs.Manchester United and Arsenal will provide a pretty tight competition in winning tickets to the champions league.

Man Utd & Spurs are done this season I think. Leicester will finish above them both, it’s going to be Liverpool & City in 1st & 2nd (not sure what order but LFC are obviously favourites). Chelsea will come 3rd & 4th/5th will be a battle between Leicester & Arsenal.

Man.United lately still shows a game that has not been consistent from the last 5 EPL matches, MU 2 won, 1 Draw and 2 lost.  indeed the rest of the match is still long but if Manchester United always play like that it is not impossible that MU will no longer pass at UCL.

If the match is still like that then I don't think Manchester UTD will go to UCL, MUManchester UTD still has to play solid and coach Ole Gunnar still doesn't have good statistics for his players, and I hope in this transfer season, Manchester UTD buys players who can reliable on the front lines.
Let's just wait until the player transfer market opens in January, rumors MU has targeted many players in January later one of them Halland and James Madison. Seeing his current squad, Halland looks set to go to MU to complete their squad.

However Chelsea and Man City must both want to get the victory. Because that is why they can compete in the big 4. This match was indeed a difficult match for both teams, especially for man city who had lost the previous week. Of course there is strong determination in Manchester City.

^  It's not over.  There are more international fixtures (a lot) later and tomorrow.  So if you think your favorite footballers are risk free from injuries, don't hold your breath...  And don't make your bets just yet.  Wink

Did you see Van Dijk was allowed t go home for ‘personal reasons’ after their first game as they qualified Cheesy
Klopp probably rang up Koeman and said ‘please send my guy home now’.

Gomez & Hendo were sent back home too Wink

Klopp ‘doing a Fergie’.

So far pulisic is the only chelsea player that suffering injury during the international break he is not even play yet for USA , safe to say that the key players for chelsea this season such as abraham , mount and tomori is just fine Grin , we have kepa play for Spain tonight and jorginho + emerson for italy ... wish them get rested , important game this week against Manchester city which could be the real test for Lampard to answer Mourinho doubt on how chelsea this season under him can't win against big clubs.

I personally expecting a draw against Manchester city is more than enough to maintain the current fabulous form considering how terrible Chelsea whenever play against city at Etihad in the last 2 years.
