Man City play Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal & Leicester before Christmas. I think City will drop more points in the coming weeks.
With Chelsea and Leicester City I am smelling them to lose few points. May be they will be able to defeat Utd and Arsenal easily. Liverpool is going to see Palace, Brighton, Everton, Bornemouth and Watford - and I can tell that if we do not make any mistakes then we should be winning all these games.

At this point only Liverpool can harm Liverpool. We are at the top and we need to maintain the level now.

That is so right. Liverpool holds the title on its hands even if it is still November.
City has so difficult schedule that it is very possible they will lose points and the gap would be wider. But something similar happened last season and Liverpool was ahead of City and they lost the title.

but yes there was a hand ball which City could manage to get a penalty but again this is a part of the game. You can not expect referee to see everything.
The referees does see everything that's why VAR exists, it's a video assistant, so whatever the referee misses they pick it up in the studio. The issue is it was a 50-50 situation. And I believe the VARs were split on which decision to make, the fact that Liverpool scored from the ensuing play made it even more difficult. The second incident for me was clearly not a penalty, the ball was played from too close (distance from Arnold's hands to the ball) and his hands were not spread wide, it was similar to the Bernardo Silva handball in the first half; too close, and so can not be given.

The rules regarding handballs are constantly being updated, and we would have such arguments and debates as fans are swayed by club affiliation.

-no offense- the last time is against manchester city where i think manchester city deserve a draw.
after the ignored handsball and mo salah offside goal , the VAR checking is not helpful at all, klop himself says that nothing perfect we can not expect for perfection in VAR , there a lot of space to improve in VAR implementations.
It seems this was the first time we had issue with VAR.

Man! it's a part of the game now. Salah was not off-side but yes there was a hand ball which City could manage to get a penalty but again this is a part of the game. You can not expect referee to see everything.
In the entire match except last 15 minutes, Liverpool dominated the match and they deserved the win.

everybody wanted liverpool to get slipped , instead slipped they are unstoppable now.

8 points clear from leicester and chelsea on second and third place is a pretty huge gap , won't be easy for any team to chase liverpool unless if liverpool themselves get hits by injuries which so far they are just fine , luckily.
indeed the curse continue , it seems the ball keep failing landed on the wrong aguero's foot and the wrong time making the shoots undirected and weak i can see that how unlucky aguero at anfield .

Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield for 900 days now.
This season belongs to Liverpool. I think it's very difficult to beat liverpool now. They are strong on all fronts. Allison Becker has returned and this is adding to their strength. Maybe this season they will lose just once, when they visit Manchester City Stadium.
But Leicester also has a chance of beating them because this season they also look very tough.
such a great records will hard to break but of course there is nothing last forever .

they did not play as good as leicester city good football , liverpool seems get the lucky factor in most of the games that they have won -no offense- the last time is against manchester city where i think manchester city deserve a draw.

the next liverpool EPL match is against : crystal palace, brighton, everton, bournemouth and watford, they won't struggle with those mediocre teams.

Man City play Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal & Leicester before Christmas. I think City will drop more points in the coming weeks.
Off all the upcoming games the only one that will trouble Manchester City will be the Leicester City game because by far they are the most impressive team, I am sure Chelsea will prove to be a little bit trouble but Manchester City will eventually carry the day but with Arsenal and Manchester United it will be an easy win for Manchester City.
I still believe in the abilities of Manchester City coaches and players even though they were defeated by Liverpool, they will rise as fast as possible
because they have a great champion mentality

What a quick turn around. Just a few days ago lots of people said Liverpool will slip and blablabla, and now they start saying this is Liverpool year.

Another reminder that most football comments don't hold any values.

Nobody likes a loser, people love winners.
Liverpool is now the winner no1 and does not be surprised if some of Manchester City supporters change opinion and continue to support Liverpool.

Yet there are still 26 rounds. Still, need to play against Leicester, Chelsea, Man. United, Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham it would be too much to expect to finish the season with only one or two draws.

Chelsea Vs Manchester City would be one of the most interesting games in the season so far, two teams that only love to attack, I do not think anyone of them would pay too much attention to parking the bus, city are more mature than this current Chelsea team and I see that being the edge for them, city win 3.1.
I think in this match City will settle for a draw or even they may lose the match. City is under pressure. The fame, the expectation and finally the attacks from Chelsea will give them hard time. And Chelsea knows if they can win this match then they will go one step ahead than the closest competitor.
I agree that the game will be difficult for Manchester City, but I don't think the chance of Chelsea to win the game is much higher than Manchester City.
Manchester City will play at their home and it's a great advantage. Except the game against Wolverhampton, Manchester City hasn't lost any game at their home in this season of premier league.
I think you are predicting the result based on Liverpool vs Manchester City game. That game was totally different. No team can defeat Liverpool.

When Liverpool never lost a match in this season and playing really well who will claim that they will slip if you watch the rest of the matches.

Comments from someone you can't trust are only predictions that have no value, but Liverpool can show their best.
I accept with the first part as there might be a ton of comments without value  Tongue.

Chelsea is doing really serious business in this season and unfortunate City is going to face them in the next match..
Chelsea and Leicester City are the two most entertaining teams in the league so far this season, and really no one gave this both teams any chance coming into the season, Chelsea due to their transfer ban were expected to stuggle, while Leicester were expected to stay mid table as usual.

But they have proven otherwise, Chelsea Vs Manchester City would be one of the most interesting games in the season so far, two teams that only love to attack, I do not think anyone of them would pay too much attention to parking the bus, city are more mature than this current Chelsea team and I see that being the edge for them, city win 3.1.

Chelsea is doing really serious business in this season and unfortunate City is going to face them in the next match after the defeat of yesterday. I am expecting an exciting match in that match and even Chelsea may manage a win or even a draw. If this happens then  City will have a break in their confidence.

We may see a good contest for 2nd position in this season.
true this match it will be very interesting, the point difference for the second position table is very thin, while there are three teams that compete fiercely for the position. Chelsea is on enjoying their winning streak, obviously ManC must be careful. if don't want to get pain deeper.
in my opinion this match will end in a draw.

Maybe they think Liverpool will be humiliated from Manchester but in fact Liverpool were the one who humiliated Manchester with a 3-1 goal.

12 rounds done, 26 rounds remaining means that there are still many chances to happen in the league especially for the current top 4 teams as the point difference is not that big.
Liverpool needs to be consistent in the remaining rounds, they should not slip many matches in the future as it the other 3 teams (Chelsea, Leicester, City) may overtake their position.
I think Liverpool will lose against a mediocre team only which will be a surprise, like what they got a draw against United when United was in a very bad form. Who knows? Smiley

with ederson absence? you still think manchester city should win?

I had a slight hope that they are determined to get close in table difference b/w them and Liverpool but guess Liverpool had a good team and really played well yesterday.

BTW Sergio Aguero's saga of never scoring a goal at Anfield continues. He had good chances yesterday.  Grin

After the International break is over, here are the first set of Premier League fixtures.

I might change some of my scores depending if any players were injured or any other set backs because we are 12 days away from these fixtures.

If you would like to participate post your projected scores and I will add you. Hopefully will have a minimum of 6 players.

No betting involved, just a bit of fun so we can compare the scores at the end of the weekend  Grin
