The fans created this mess, as long as people are paying to watch games and wear merchandise, players will demand huge salaries and teams will be worth billions.  Funny how many bandwagon fans this recent owners have brought, never meat a manchester city fan until they started winning titles, lol.

You are not living in Manchester maybe.
Do you know that historically Manchester City had more fans than United? Check it more. Of course the number of fans is increased by the time they started winning titles but they exist long before that.

Fans were always here and football is played for them, I am blaming television coverage and social networks.

^  And try winning something with no money.  Cheesy  Leicester did it...  But we all know it was a fluke.  Even Tottenham is having a hard time winning something.  And if they don't spend big money this summer, they'll risk losing Poch.

There is no guarantee that if you have a lot of money they can get a trophy. Because the EPL competition is very difficult to predict, even a very low club can become an EPL champion. And you have to remember that there is one trophy won by MU, the Best Grass.  Cheesy

Chelsea were crap & rarely won anything before Abramovich & his money. Man City were a joke before the Sheikh & his state funded money.

Money doesn’t guarantee success but it goes a long way towards guaranteeing it.
I really agree with this, with the money of a club, it's easier to win a league title because you can buy many quality players and also great coaches.

^  Yup.  It's all about the money these days...  That's why the most impressive club that balances their books well is Bayern Munich.  Speaking of which, Bale could go there on loan.  I hope it happens.

in the last few seasons Manchester United are not MU they seem to lose their identity as one of the strongest teams in the world.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Not just a few seasons, but after being abandoned by the SAF. Manchester United are no longer known for strong clubs. Even the EPL bottom club can win the match against Manchester United. Isn't that very embarrassing, I admit MU is a very strong and feared club when the coach is SAF.

Man Utd do have the financial power to spend a lot of money. I guess the problem is will any top players want to play for them? No Champions League football & a rookie manager. They’ll probably have to over pay on wages.

but history records that many wealthy clubs who won the English league compared to clubs that were not financially strong could be proven by data. if there is a small club that can win the English league then he deserves to be a rich club.

sssttt ... you should not clarify this I have smoothed my words so that MU fans feel mediocre. I think that is indeed the case and MU must improve more.

since SAF retired, I don't know how much money has been spent by MU management for coaches and players investment.
many top players and coaches their recruiting, but the results are far from expected.
player investment important, Like ManC when they was first bought by Sheikh Mansour, they immediately competed in the league board.
so actually what can improve the team quality to compete in EPL, in my opinion they need to fix between players and coaches chemistry.

Errr...  No.  Pogba hasn't had a good season since he got to United imho.  Sure he had flashes of brilliance but it's really far from his real potential.  I'd like to see him leave and play under Zidane at Real.
I agree. pogba doesn't play well at MU, his play unstable, often loses the ball when playing with tricks.he didn't really play to win, just looking for a personal stage. maybe in real Zz it can handle it.

The premier league is already strong.
I don't think that we are going to see big signings from teams in EPL this season. Probably more outgoing that inbound.

I think Man Utd will make signings, they have to. They’re still a massive club deapute recent struggles. If they want to get back amongst the big boys competing for the big trophies they’re going to have to spend to compete.

Manchester United has many good players.
They just need to sign a good coach that will make them work hard. Pogba is an example of a great player that made a bad season because he didn't work hard. And also don't forget that those teams has many young players from their youth clubs.

yes they have to do it, rumors of Pogba going out of Manchester United so strong this makes MU also have to make purchases of players with positions left by Pogba and also several strikers.

Pogba had a good season at Machester United but not the season he and all of us were expecting.Maybe because Mourinho didn't made him play in his natural position and that is why his performance was not the top as always. The new coach didn't make any progress either with Pogba so it is only natural that he may want to go out of Manchester United.

not only Pogba is propably going out Lukaku also could be seeing a move. i think it will be hard for them to lose Pogba more then Lukaku because Pogba had somewhat of a good season while Lukaku have been a hit and a miss at the same time as he never reached the potential thzt the fzns wanted to see from him also United still have Rashford infront that will also means for Martial more time to play next season as he can play left wing or second striker behind Rashford. as for the possible entries for United Aaron wan Bissaka is a priority alongside Diop from West Ham while Maddison should be brought instead of Pogba if he leaves eventualy.
I think MU must be quick to recruit players with positions left by Pogba and Lukaku, in the last few seasons Manchester United are not MU they seem to lose their identity as one of the strongest teams in the world.
