^ ^  I fear Lampard's status as an 'immortal' at the club will be affected in a really bad way if(when?) he fails.  It would've been best for him to avoid being a Chelsea manager at all.  He could wait for Abramovich to sell the club at least...

Or maybe the opposite if he does well and he will be immortalised if he does a brilliant job. The odds are stacked against him though and he's already a lot of the bookies favourite to be the first sacked and it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. He should have stuck with Derby for another season as he narrowly missed out on getting them promoted but if he could have got them up this season that would have been a huge success and speak volumes about him as a manager. I don't think he's ready for such a big club yet and there's a lot of pressure on Chelsea especially when there's at least three other teams that are far superior to them.

I am not so sure. He is a club legend and I believe supporters will be considerate enough to let him work with full support even if the results are not the best. Anybody taking Chelsea after selling of Hazard would have a tough time. He was the only one propelling Chelsea to victory on so many occasions I even lost count.

Of course the above can only be true if the players show a will to play at 100% even though they don't have a class to battle for the very top positions in the league.

Their main problems are the following:
- Can't buy new players in the market
- the owner of the club is not known for patience
- lost their main and the best player in the last 10 years

If Lampard gets the chance to build his team from scratch this year, without the pressure of great expectations, than he will have chance for success.

From DetikSport.com, WILFIRIED ZAHA felt annoyed and sad to be reported to ARSENAL. The thing that made him sad and annoyed was related to the transfer rumors for him. Judicael Zaha, Brother ZAHA expected his brother to PALACE, but he did not know about the growing rumors of transfers.

Frank Lampard is announced as the new Chelsea's Manager.
I think he will do great. He is already respected in the whole league and especially from Chelsea fans, so they are reluctant to see results. Also, everyone knows that he will do his best with the current players as Chelsea suffers from financial fairplay restrictions.

We all think it's great. But we are talking about Chelsea. If they made few lost games in the row, he will be sacked like anyone manager in Chelsea. if it does not get fired at the end of 2019 it will be a surprise. Especially now, without Hazard and no new big players.
That's what will happen someday when becoming a Chelsea coach. Because most of the previous coaches were fired if they suffered poor results. But I'm sure Lampard will start a new record for Chelsea. And will not experience the fate of the previous coach.
great trust from the club's management to make Lampard a Chelsea coach even though he hasn't had too much experience as a coach, hopefully he is able to train big clubs like Chelsea.

If he doesn't do it as a Chelsea coach, of course Lampard will never have experience later. So it's really good if Lampard is now the Chelsea coach. We are just waiting for its performance for the season to be coming. Very much awaited every game.

I think this move is too early for Lampard. Chelsea don’t tend to give their managers time in the job, it would be very detrimental to Lampard's career if he gets sacked. I suppose because he’s a Chelsea legend Abramovich might be more lenient if things don’t go well but I think this move is a couple of seasons too early for him.

Frank Lampard as a player will always be fans favourite, but as head coach of Chelsea he won’t last long. Every new coach needs one or two transfers to make his mark at the club, but he’ll be getting none because Chelsea are banned from buying players. Their most important player Hazard has been sold to Real Madrid, and those who remain back are not good enough in my opinion. It’s pertinent to note that their owner is known to be impatient for results, and when he sees no results he’ll not hesitate to pull the switch on Lampard.

Tottenham signs their first player after a year with no transfers and with it they broke thir owne history of the most expensive club record transfer fee.

Ndombele is coming from Lyon for transfer fee of $70 million. is one of the most prominent French talents  i think Tottenham is the place to give him a full chance to emerge and mature but the most important thing for Tottenham is try to renew Ericson to keep off Real Madrid from snatching him.

I am thinking Ndombele is signed as a replacement for Eriksen. Seems to me like Eriksen is set to leave the club and this is last chance for Spurs to make serious money on that transfer. Daniel Levy is usually the one who keeps his purse very tight and he will do his best to squeeze every last penny from Eriksen transfer.

I hope Mourinho doesn’t come back to the PL to be honest. I’m sick & tired of his childish antics, moaning & general shitty behaviour over the years. Hopefully he takes a really highly paid job as far away from the PL as possible. I’ve heard China pay well, Jose Wink

He's the manager every league needs for enterainment value as long as he's not in your club.  Lolol.  Wink

Remember Mou poking somebody from Barca's eye when he was Real manager?  I think it was Pep's assistant (RIP).  Cheesy

I think Mourinho will not try to go to the Chinese League because even though he will get a very large salary but as a coach it is tantamount to a career decline.

I had a dream Bale went to Newcastle to play under Mou (who became its manager after the City oiler's cousin bought the club) and lead the club to a top 6 finish.  Grin

Bale cooperated with Mourinho and the results didn't bring something successful.
Mourinho didn't gave him enough opportunities and it seemed that he didn't believe in his abilities. Of course, In a team without so many stars like Newcastle facts will be different, but still I am not interested in seeing this scenario.

That dream of yours can possibly turn into reality as Mourinho is not getting any job offers from top clubs, Bale is not wanted at Real Madrid so both could benefit if Newcastle is brought by City’s cousin owner. When Mourinho was at Real Madrid more focus was on Ronaldo hence Bale suffered, and Bale has always liked Mourinho so he’ll surely play well under him. I’ll agree Newcastle do not have big stars but if the club is sold then the new owner can definitely pump in lots of money, and buy big stars and revive the club.

Huh?  Didn't Mou already leave when Bale transferred to Real?  Lol.  And Mou never managed Bale in football...  Unless you two are also dreaming.  Lololol.

But Bale still knew that he will be Ronaldo's shadow in Real.
Nevermind, it would be great if he will be given another opportunity of proving himself in Premier League and Newcastle. If Mourinho joins Newcastle then I will believe that something serious is going to be built in the English club.
