^  Tho Watford letting Silva go under bad circumstances and due to Everton's approach that might have caused Watford's deterioration last season has still left a bad taste in their mouth.

Watford could play extra motivated for this match.

Today I think it is an interesting game between Everton and Watford. The bookies see as favourite Everton which maybe true but the fact that Watford during the beginning of the season performed really well don't let me bet on Everton to win. I think we may see a draw here in this game.

Anybody watching Newcastle vs Wolverhampton?

I had the game on in the background while doing other stuff. Didn't seem particularly exciting but you've got to feel bad for Newcastle. The Boly elbow on Perez was a clear penalty in my opinion (https://gfycat.com/WellmadeDamagedFreshwatereel), and the second Wolves goal came in the 94th minute. Having said that though, Newcastle's defending was atrocious. Watch this replay - https://streamja.com/JZgE. 4 Newcastle defenders in front of the ball, none of them try to tackle, none of them try to even close him down or put pressure on, none of them look around and mark any of the other Wolves players. All 4 of them just run with Jota in to the box and give him plenty of space to get a shot off, and Doherty is completely unmarked for the rebound. Shocking play.

@buwaytress - I think only Liverpool & City will contend for the title to be honest bro. The others drop too many points against the lesser teams. I’m in my early 30’s & I’ve never seen us win the title. The last time was 1990/91 season & I was very young so wasn’t even into football. I still think City are favourites but we have a real, genuine shot of doing it.

Will be a huge game vs Napoli on Tuesday, managed to get myself 2 tickets. I think we’ll do what’s needed to qualify. It’s then Man Utd at Anfield next Sunday, the big games just keep coming. This is what we want though, right.

I pray this is a season to remember because Kiev still hurts!

If the way all the teams have been playing continues throughout, then yeah, it's just going to be Klopp amd Guardiola's men sweating it to the finish line. If that be the case, then so be it. Like you said though, the top 2 are the only ones who've dropped points only to strong teams (yes even Wolves are strong)... And yes, it's all the big games coming thick and fast that will give us the momentum. There's no other way to have it.

I'm on the latter stages of my 30s but too missed out on everything great the Reds have done, save the millenium haul of 5 and of course Istanbul, the Gerrard FA cup final, ... So there's a whole adult generation of us who've seen enough false dawns and broken dreams on the last leg. I never really got over the Gerrard slip and for sure Kiev is burning my ears.

Enjoy Napoli. I hope we let loose and go for broke. It'll be hell of a way to qualify, but whatever happens, we won't forget this season so soon... Already have last gasp famous victories at Anfield... Divock's goal, Bobby's one earlier against Paris.

Walk on, walk on...

Ahhhh man, epic times. Had to sling you another Merit for this post.
Remember Gary McAllistar’s late free kick against Everton when we were fighting to get top 4 in that 2000/01 season.

Good times, man.

YEAH man well deserved TOP OFF the league place .... its good they could fully profit of MAN CITY not being with complete team, hope for LFC to hold it on that first place

sorry for the OT but in belgium ... my city "antwerp" took the 2nd place come on (there playing against the youngest HAZARD right now, his nothing like the other 2 Roll Eyes  )

wtf they post HAZARD as forward Roll Eyes
He was pretty awful as a forward, which is not surprising tbh, but the moment he decided to switch from the forward position to his natural position, a winger, Chelsea scored thanks to his assist...what a player.

indeed what a player he is

Lol.  Congrats.  A hell of a day for City to pick an off day.  But what can you do...  The next games vs the top 6 will be so crucial for City to get that lead back.  And obv they can't afford to lose points vs the rest.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool. I watched the game until the 3rd goal, but despite the score at the end (0-4) I thought it was an ok performance from Liverpool, the only one who stand out was Salah who seems to be recovering that great form from last season. I believe Liverpool is now one of the few teams in europe that are still unbeaten this season, not bad.

And that's why I have a lot of hope for Pool. Playing only half of their finest levels, players still somewhat struggling to hit top form except for Milner and the flanks and defence... and still unbeaten in a really tough league that probably has the best team in Europe.

Don't want to jinx anything but it's nice to sit at the top for a weekend, let's just hope they keep this string past United and Arsenal, and carry it all the way. Sweetest would be to end 3rd January having qualified to Champs League, past 3rd round FA cup beating Wolves and then deliver City another loss. If any team can do it, it's pool.

Thank you Sarri Hazard and co. for the gift.

As far as i remember the odds for Chelsea ML was @3.xx at that time and i was bet for them but the results according to my predictions that Chelsea win and overall the competition in the top 4 is very tight currently that point difference from Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City is not far

Odds for Chelsea was 3.85 at my bookie, which I was happy to collect =)

Now at least there's hope for a 4/5 horse race for the league winner.

Big match available today Chelsea vs Manchester City and recently i have seen the odds between both of teams that the odds for host team was higher but this time i was pick for Chelsea ML because i expect they can able to defeat Man City however this weekend Liverpool will against weak team and i do like if Liverpool win and they can taking over first position if Chelsea won too

Chelsea's poor performance in the previous match against Wolverhampton Wanderers hopefully won't give an impact on this big match. The game will be tough and it will be very difficult to predict who will win. The draw result will probably be the most ideal result for both teams.

Chelsea fans should feel proud yesterday as their team are the first team to beat Manchester City this season in the English Premier League, I guess there is just no unbeatable team in this world. Even though Liverpool have overtaken Manchester City as the leader on the English Premier League table at the moment, Manchester City are still in a good position to challenge for the title this season, I hope their morale is not affected when they play against Everton next week.

Man Utd vs Fulham. That was probably the best performance from Man Utd this season, especially the first half...then again, they were playing against the worst team in the EPL.

Chelsea vs Man City. Sarri's defensive gamplan actually worked, because it was pretty obvious that they were trying to defend the draw from the beginning and they had no desire to display offensive football, yet they somehow still managed to find themselves two goals completely out of context because the Citizens were the ones dominating the game. Overall, I expected more from this game, but it is what it is.

Sorry I'm late! Thanks for the PM reminder.

Chelsea v Man City 2:1
Leicester v Tottenham 0:2
Espanyol v Barcelona 1:3
At. Madrid v Alaves 2:0
Hertha v Eintract 1:1
Juventus v Int. Milan 3:1

Almost! Fuck I had just a bit of hope for Man City to score one back. But hey, this result was no surprise for me at least Cheesy Too bad I didn't have enough balance and was just sketched out enough about it that I didn't dare back the result with money. It was an amazing game though

Not special about Mourinho IMO
Man u better lose him for another coach
And yeah would be good for LFC if hazard was in a monstrous form today Wink

It was a good win for Manchester United, but same can't be said about Mourinho his costliest player can't even make it to the pitch. Though Manchester United won they yet could not keep a clean sheet, and I hope the board yet considers letting Mourinho go soon. It was a classic Liverpool victory, and a goals fest as usual now onto City vs Chelsea it'll be a tough match but City are the favourites to win it.
