^  There's only one EPL club that Ronaldo is willing to play at.  Man United.  It would be more of an insult if he played elsewhere in that league.

Tbh I'd like to see him back at United and hopefully make Messi turn his head and follow Pep at City.  Cheesy

...  A guy can dream right?  Lmao.
from the last rumors i'm hearing is that United have asked about inquiring ronaldo but the negotioations with Juventus are in more advanced with Juve and i'm sure if given the opportunity United will pay more then the italien side but i think Ronaldo has chosen Juventus not only for money but this is for the Champions League and the SerieA because Juventus always wins the Italian championship and always reaches the final of the Champions League means a team can bring with him the Champions League while he will find difficulties doing that with United as For Ronaldo Leaving Madrid i'm pretty sure he will be leaving this summer he wants the move also Real Madrid are in good position to sell him for good price he knows next season how he will be doing and he will be also 34 that means no wone will pay the amount that they are looking to coup.

Ronaldo going to a Juventus is a insult to all premier league fans I can't believe none are bidding to get him back, it's a utter shame. So far Lukaku and Kane have absolutely burned the World Cup, very proud they're from premier league and I hope they come face to face in finals. Finally we're moving in preseason phase can't wait the new league to start.

News reports says Karius will be Liverpool's first goalkeeper next season because they failed to sign with Oblack also the deal with Alison looks very complicated and it will be difficult to get him .The decision of Club if  did not change until the end of the summer it will be a great risk, resulting in either success and whole world will praise him or failure that will defintly leads to the departure of Klopp himself. IMO they should look for other solutions some days ago i heared that they will intrested in Barcelona 2nd keeper Cillessen they are willing to offer 35M Euros while his realease close is 60M but Barcelona will gain 20M as they got him for less the 15M. Frankly I do not understand why this goalkeeper is excluded from the Liverpool options. He is good and his price is good and he has a desire to move as well as his personal ambition to prove that he is the first goalkeeper who will pay him to give everything he has to his new team .....

Hey EPL regs.  Do you guys want to have a new thread for the EPL, prolly make it a per season thing?  This thread is fine, but it's starting to get 'old' if you know what I mean.

I'll ask hilariousandco to make the new thread and make it self moderated to prevent spam.  What do you guys think?

next season will be a very new season for the premiere league because for the first time the arsenal will not be trained arsene wenger. liverpool showed a good performance last season, and tottenham and manchester united will destroy the hegemony of manchester city.

Still too early to speculate on this, focus on the world cup instead. The world cup will be the place where alot of new talent will be found alongside some new transfer. Even when liverpool was showing great achievement last season there is no way to speculate the enxt season as Salah might be signed by another club in the transfer window
I agree with you the summer just started and we still don't know which team that will gain or lose from the transfer window United have started early this season sealing two transfers that is great for them it's a lot better when you get your players early not wait till the end and then panic buy City have done it last season as they got their transfers done so early that made Guardiola focus on the game play for the rest of the summer while the other teams waited to the last day and some of them didn't reach agreements for players that have been long target for them I think it is going to be exiting to see if United going to improve this season and will they be able to match with their neighbors while others like Arsenal and Chelsea would they be able to get back in top 4 teams in England.

^  He was decent at City before Pep came in.  Maybe Klopp can bring out the best in him again.

City will remain favorites but I won't count Man United, Tottenham and Liverpool out, depending on their new signings.  Some would think that the top clubs are trying to 'buy the trophy', but it's the way it is now.  They have to spend insane amounts of money to win trophies.  Cos if not, they end up like Chelsea or Arsenal.

Are Manchester United going crazy or what they are now trying to sign Willian for £60m he is 29 yo so i do not think that he worth that much £45m is the limit if it was up to me Sanchez was sold for just little bit more then that price tag. I Know that Mourinho likes him very much but he is not worth bringing for that much so I'm rather see him trying to find another solution that worth the money he will be buying with.
^  Liverpool could also go for Jack Butland.  And I think they could acquire him for cheap since Stoke was relegated.

Another option they could go for is Joe Hart.  He's decent enough and prolly better than Karius.  Lol.
Liverpool is in deed needs a better GK but Joe Hart have been a disaster for the previous 2 seasons and he have not have the age to get better then he used to be I would choose any other EPL goalie for him Butland seems to be a good choice as he made a lot of saves last season.

Is Liverpool really going for Shaqiri or its all just talk and nothing is really happening behind the scenes? I'm mean its really overdue two or three weeks passed since I first saw a news article for a potential transfer, still nothing happened. I know I'm late on this one but was Lichtsteiner really the missing piece into the defence of Arsenal? I'd rather buy a classic sweeper or center back than a right back. Lichtsteiner is old and super slow, I really didn't see the point of the transfer.

Liverpool needs goalkeeper we everybody know about it.There is still possible to buy fabianski from Swansea.Swansea wants only 7 mln gbp WestHam is giving 5mln.Fabianski is very experienced player
He is one of two best polish goalkeeper equal to Sczesny who will be nr1 Juve goalkeeper
Alisson from AS Roma is fine but he will cost much more and he is still young. So there is something to think by my opinion

Manchester city seemes unstoppable and I don't expect this season to be any different look at Managers interview they'll say they'll try to have a good season and play catch up with city, even Mourinho has already conceded it's difficult to win the title right before the season has even began, Manchester United need a new manger like Simone who restores attacking glory days back. Liverpool will not win it, it's their lack of winning mentality that stops them.

Let’s wait & see what happens after the world cup regarding transfers. A lot can change on who may or may not have a shot of winning the title based on players coming in.

Exactly, it's early days yet and a lot might happen in the near future even after the world cup and the whole premier league dynamics might change as to players and managers movement around Europe, injuries etc....

Ya I agree but with the transfer window closing earlier this time I haven't seen any great additions so far to the other premier leagues, I do hope they strengthen because city just need few tweaks they're yet very strong, so far nothing great happening at World Cup to, grizeman is not coming nor is Bale that means only Ronaldo is available and neymar is going back to Real so I wonder which world class player will rejevenuate the sides.

In this modern world of football, It's impossible to win any trophy without spending a whole lot of money and sometimes the money that you end spending correlates to the trophies that you are going to end up winnimg.

This.  But there are exceptions or outliers when a lower tier club runs way above EV while the top 6 clubs are mostly running below EV.  Remember Leicester 2015/16?  Grin

But that's not happening again in 30 years or so...

hard to say, the EPL can be so unpredictable from time to time that I wouldn't be surprised if Fulham or Everton (with the new coach, Marco Silva), end up winning the league title  Grin on a serious note, if the top clubs (Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal) aren't shite and can actually compete with Man City, then there's a high chance that one of them wins the EPL.

Now Liverpool, they always start the league as favorites (I honestly don't know why) but they never fail to have their up and downs each season...they've been so inconsistent for so long that they are the only team from the 'Big Four' that is yet to win a league title in the 21st century...I don't think the trend will change, they'll just keep fighting for a top four spot, not the league title.
Their seasons almost seem to consist of some losses that shouldn't happen but in the end they seem to go on losing. Against the top six clubs, they are formidable but when it comes to the lesser clubs. Its a lose-draw affair for them.
