Watford are doing well at home winning back to back games on their ground their shape for the past two games is average but their wins came at home and they are going to face West Brom whom have been awful sitting at the bottom of the league with 7 points short of the first safe spot their form is too poor as they are on a 5 games losing run and there are some spectaculation of another loss will make the manager Alan Pardew manage his last game with Brom so for this game I think the hosts have better chance to take the three points West Brom are just not good enough and most of the time they are underperforming so a home win to go for

@toke: Liverpool to finish third below United? They still have that Utd-Pool game left to play and I'm pretty sure Liverpool will get 3 points to leapfrog them into 2nd! We already have sidebet in the pool thread, care for another $10? I win if Liverpool finish above Utd, you win if the opposite happens;)

Lots of tempting bets today, and I'm going for a risky acca of Leicester and Southampton to both win @3.3
Liverpool I get dependable goals so over 3 at 1.68 is all I'll do.

^  Would it be safe to say that this will be the top 4 at the end of the season...?

EPL Top 4, in Order:

City

United

Liverpool

Chelsea

That looks about right barring anything extreme happens, like a double injury for Salah and Mane or something.

I think Tottenham will get in the top 4, Chelsea to miss out imo.

Be careful if you’re betting on the PL games today, weather is terrible all across the country, severe snow, lots of games could be postponed due to the weather.

Your list is missing Tottenham, they could easily push into top 4. Champions League will also be a big factor. The teams that manage to progress to next stage will probably mix their team in the league. Lpool & City will go trough for sure, Man utd probably and I can't wait to see Tott and Chelsea games.

I don't see much value in today pairs. Tott and Lpool are big favorites but the odds are minimal. I will only play Leicester to win today against Bournemouth @1.85. I also think that Burnley could snatch a 1:0 win over Everton but I will play that one only for minimal stake.

March is a very tough month for Chelsea as Conte's side have to meet big teams in a row in either the Premier League or UCL. This weekend Chelsea has to travel to Manchester City and they should be able to hold even win the game if they still want to compete for the Premier League title.

Chelsea will only be struggling to get into top 4. Their competitor to be in top 4 would be liverpool and tottenham. I think it is about time for liverpool to be in the top 4 because they are really good this season compared with few previous season as well as tottenham. They will be playing against chelsea and the odds are not with them this week as well

They could perhaps pray so that tottenham and liverpool lose their next game but the chance is low for that to happen

With City winning easily against Arsenal, I think now for sure its City's title. Its been a dominating season by City and I can't remember a team being so dominating like City has in a very long time. I must admit as a City fan its been great to watch and entertaining but it would of been nice to see a lot more competition from the other teams to make the title race a lot more interesting. Well the top 3 is interesting to watch to see which teams finish in the top 3 at seasons end.

In truth City won the league since December when they acquired that 15pts lead. There was no way they could lose it from there. I'm not one to usually play this card, since it beginning to be the norm of football, but here it goes "money buys titles". It has simple as that. Man City have spent the heaviest and it is no surprise they are where they are at the moment. Nobody can compete with such funding support in the EPL. That being said, I take nothing away from Pep and the style of play he is using in the Prem. Maybe if Pochettino had same amount of funds (and profile to attract such players), he would be very close to City. Honestly for me football started losing it's true meaning when it became too commercial. I think the turning point was the arrival of Roman to Chelsea; he opened the flood gates.

I disagree.  I mean sure City was ahead and was playing well, but I wouldn't start considering them as 'having won the league' at that point.  Not before the winter transfer window at least.  Wink

Arsenal already humiliated by Manchester City yesterday and they looks can't stopped dominance of Manchester City and for upcoming match against Manchester City again next weekend although Arsenal play as host team but on my predictions this match will belong to Manchester City again

Humiliated pretty badly, complete dominance in yesterdays game. And yes I would also say the upcoming match would be also dominated by Manchester City, but it might not be a clean sheet, as the game is hosted by Arsenal, so they will have some advantages. I would say it would be something like the game between Manchester United and Chelsea, 2-1 the other day.

Guardiola has created a war machine!
his Manchester City is almost at the levels of his Barcelona.
This year Manchester City can do the "Triplete" (Premier League, National Cup and Champion's League).
This team can dominate European football in the next few years.

Somebody pointed out that we haven't seen City vs a top club in the CL, so we can't really judge where they are against thr likes of Bayern, Barca and Real...

I'd like to see them play vs Bayern at some point in the CL.

Yes I agree with this, I think once we see Man City play one of these top teams in Europe, then we will get to see how good or bad City really is because lets be honest there hasn't been much competition for them in the Premier League this season so I'm hoping that they will be up for the challenge for when they do happen to play one of these top teams in the CL.

manchester city still good in local competition
in champion league only always meet not good team
need meet big team, munchen madrid, psg , barcenona, if can win youre statement is true, war machine
the thing makes City a great contenders for the UCL is that they only lost this season on three occasions once against Shakhtar in UCL and the one against Liverpool and last time they dissapointed was against Wigan in the FA Cup while other big teams like Real Madrid and Bayern showed more weaknesses Real Madrid showed more while Bayern seen not that great of a start under Ancelotti now they are doing much better while Barcelona have been the most consistent team but the recent draws could affect their overall performance. So City overall performance make them a team to fear like the other top teams but the UCL will be defintly their biggest challenge this season.

^  I wouldn't call it horrendous.  They did have their moments and had 5 shots on target.  But they're no match vs City.  City just has the best squad in the EPL overall...  United is a close second.

A very close one indeed, actually I may want to say that united has better squad but city has better coach for their strategy. 10 more matches to go and 16 points difference. That means city needs to lose atleast 5 times and get another draw , then manchester united needs to win 6 times while city lose their points. I dont see this as a possible thing, do you?

I was looking at it from the point of view of the amount of point City had already accumulated. The truth is that there where eventually going to drop points before the transfer window or during it. And the fact is that so where the other so called "challengers" - they too would have dropped points, and they did. Besides, no other team showed, and are still showing that sort of consistency. For me it was clear. And with January transfer window being a factor, incoming transfers hardly have a major effect on the team for the rest of the season, especially when the come in from a different league. Even withing the EPL, it takes time for those new players to settle into a new style of management and football.

I like to see someone else manage Arsenal now please...  (I know, I sound like a broken record.  Lol.)

I think the Arsenal fans would agree with you tokeweed. I don’t like to see Wenger getting too much hate but he is at risk of people forgetting all the good things he has done at Arsenal if he stays too much longer & they continue to be this crap.

The problem at Arsenal it´s not really the maneger Wenger, the fact is that they have poor players...
You can not name a top class Arsenal´s player, the last one was Alexis but the team couldn´t fulfill his  dreams...
Their top player now are : Petr Cech ( 35 yod), Ozil , Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and Lacazette.
But those are players that are limited and another bigger problem it´s their is no one in the bench to replace those player and keep the level as City have.

The great work of Pepe Gardiola is to have no first eleven players... He rotates his squad and give everyone a chance to prove himself and that´s motivate everybody to be on his best.
he can mix on the attack Gabriel Jesus, kun Aguero, Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Sané.
on the midfield he has Davi Silva, De Bruyne, Touré, Gundogan, Fernandinho. All them top players...

So Pep has a relly good bench and can he change the history of the game with it.

Arsenal's performance yesterday was horrendous (I'm running out of adjectives to describe how bad 'Wenger and his comedy club' have been this season)

This Man City doesn't even come close to that Barcelona. We can say that Pep's Barca was a great team because that team had won 6 titles in one year, while Manchester City has only won one of the least important titles in Europe (carabao cup).

And just like tokeweed said, we have yet to see City playing against a top club. It's all good you go full on attack mode in the premier league against second-tier clubs, but when you have to face a top clubs (clubs that have actually dominated European Football) with the likes of CR7, Bale, Modrid, Marcelo (Real Madrid), Messi, Suarez, Iniesta, Alba, (Barcelona), or Lewandowski, Ribery, James, Robben (Bayern) ...well, that's a different story.

Yeah... even I who always hope for the impossible underdogs to mess up the rules of Premier League had always known City would win as long as the other 5 below them kept up with their inconsistencies (actually only Liverpool have matched their performance since January, trading the loss against the Reds with Liverpool's suprise defeat to Swansea).

Money doesn't buy titles. I can't really believe in that... but the evidence is certainly there, isn't it? Ever since Chelsea and Mourinho took Abramovich's money and won an instant title, apart from the amazing run of Leicester, money's really been the ones keeping the teams in the running for the title. Arsenal's abject failure to hold their own in seasons past is just another sad example of how they can't compete. Watching the half empty stadium behind Wenger last night was just... heartbreaking.

City spent more on defence this season than most countries do on their own defence budget!

Credit to Pep of course. He's brought his own style, survived the jeers from previous seasons and almost repeated Arsenal's unbeaten feat.

But yes. If Pochettino had the same resources. If Klopp had the same propensity to spend... maybe things might be different. But here's to Spurs or Liverpool next season! Or another surprise outfit.
