Anyway, I would expect some unpredictable results for these midweek fixtures since the players could be so fatigued due to their schedule by now.

Premier league really has hectic schedule around New Year. Yesterday Arsenal played finished with their game and closed one gameweek and today we already have another one starting at 13:30. Most teams are playing games every 2 days. Impossible for players to recuperate, but great for us, the supporters Smiley

What a stupid pinalty from Crystal palace, imagine if they can make a goal on that pinalty. Manchester city will stopped and not get 1 points. but congrats for palace, they succes stop man city winning streak and also many important player injured like de bryune.

And Gabriel de Jesus.  He's out for a month and a half according to some reports.  The good thing about it is City will have no choice but make Aguero their premier striker once again (yes!).  Grin

Currently these injuries cannot stop Manchester City because they already much ahead of other opponents but Guardiola need to be very careful as now crucial time in Premier League for them today first game end in draw after long time but good thing we have some other draw games also

For now they have more points compared with the others but that doesnt mean they will continue like that. Dont you know that there will be alot more schedule for them in 2018? That means Guardiola will need to have some reserve player otherwise fatigue might be taking its toll for his player.

They are gradually losing the momentum here will one injury but if they handle it properly by signing some player then it wont really be a snowball effect for them but we'll see how thing goes

And again another bad result for manchester united, even with pogba manchester united still can't make it. If this thing keep happened, i think mourinho will get sacked. 55% ball possession with 15 goal attempts still can't make a single goal for man united.

Didn't watch the game yesterday, but something is obviously wrong in red part of Manchester. I have a feeling they have to bring another big name during transfer window to wake the team a bit and stay in fight for Champions League places next season. City is out of their reach for sure.
Another big name?
They are over their salary cap by leaps and bounds I would imagine with the swede king on injury and now Lukaku.
They are a sinking ship with Mourinho at the helm.
And now matter how much money they can throw they can not save the crew from drowning.

Get rid of the coach is the only resolve if you have spent as much as you can on top players from the other leagues around the globe. Angry
I don't think that they are going to sack Mourinho yet after somehow a successful season and this season wasn't that bad . They had been in a much worser situations and they didn't change their mangers the first sack for Moyes was when they lost at home against Moyes previous team Everton and it costed them no European Competition for that season and for LVG he was sacked after not fulfilling his target by getting a Championsleague spot I wouldn't be surprised if Mourinho stays even if he misses to achieve something this season .their last transfer news suggests that Pogba is helping them negotiation over Paulo Dybala getting him will definitely boost their offensive statues with him they wouldn't just relay in Lukaku to score goals.

The inevitable has happened to manchester city, injuries.. Apparently, Gabriel Jesus will be out for 1 or 2 months, according to Man City's official twitter, and KDB might not be able to play against Watford. At least Man City has the squad depth necessary for moments like this.

I think it's time Guardiola begins rotations, especially on key players like KDB, Otamendi, Sterling.

Also, everyone's talking about the injuries, but we forgot that the draw today means that Manchester City finally ended their winning streak record (19 games). A record that will most likely give them the EPL trophy.

Just finished watching Pallace vs. City. The game ended with a draw and it could prove to be very costly for city. Jesus and Debruyne picked up nasty injuries and now we have to wait for medical reports. Just hope these are not season ending injuries with world cup in the summer as well.
This is the best news i have had in recent weeks and it was rather unfortunate that Crystal Palace failed to win the game after they got a penalty only to miss it in the 92nd minute of playing time. Well they have at least put an end to the winning streak of Manchester City and with both Gabriel Jesus and their number one playmaker injured, i think things will soon come crumbling down for Pep Guardiola's side.

I think that Guardiola would have preferred to lose this match but not risk losing 2 of his best players due to injury!
the Premier League has already been won, but if the 2 injuries are serious they will have a negative effect on the results of the champion's league
Guardiola will not be able to win the Champions League with his currently assembled team at Manchester City, I am sure the likes of PSG. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will be able tto beat them quiet easily and they better concentrate on the Premier League which is not over yet.
I think so too. Manchester City's greatness in the Premier League is because they have never met with strong teams in other leagues. But, if they can beat other teams of leagues other than the Premier League then surely they can get UCL trophies this season. However, I think Manchester City's better to focus on the Premier League even though they are already in the wind to get the trophy this season.

Manchester City also won in the 18 games they played in the league, the game started well in the away game against Newcastle. Crystal Palace is one of the teams with good performance in the league. I believe they will play a very competitive game against Manchester City. My preference will be both sides goals.

So Manchester United shit the bed again. Will Mourinho get the boot next year? Looks like he is not relevant any more to lead teams in the Premier league lol  Grin

If he finishes third or below in the league and get nothing at the CL, then yup, he'll be given the sack (even if he won a domestic cup).  To keep his job, he should at least finish second in the league and win a domestic trophy, preferably the FA Cup, or finish any place in the league but win the CL...  IMO.

Manchester City is out of Manchester United's reach, but they have now slipped behind Chelsea as well. Mourinho may claim that they were unfairly denied a penalty, but in the end what matters is the scoreline. They were held to a 0-0 score by Southampton and end the year at third place in the league tables.

United gonna be in trouble for the next two games at least as Lukaku was subbed out for injury in the head in the 12 minute while playing against Southampton he is suffering from a concussion which will make him miss the next two games at least while the big Sweed Zlatan have suffered an knee injury that will take him out for a Month now they will have to settle with Rashford and Martial as their main Strikers for the next league game against Everton and one league cup against Derby. It's could be a good thing for Rashford to prove himself as a true number9 after Lukaku having a drop for goals then him being played out post at the wings .
