salt bea received a lot of backlash over what he did in the field, he seemed so egotistic and so disrespectful, the part where he pulled messi to take a photo with him is just pitiful, i wouldn't let it slide if someone who i don't know touches and pull me like that, i didn't know how much of an a$$hole that guy is, he for sure deserves the ban.

It is clear that Salt Bae got waaaay too spoiled because of all the attention he got. Famous people all around the world kept going to him and shoot videos, and that caused him to think he is celebrity above celebrities, he started to think like he was hot s-t and that went to his head.

Why would he be allowed on the field when it was Argentinians that won the cup, players families and organization people from Argentina and so forth makes sense, but Salt Bae has absolutely nothing to do with this at all, he is %100 irrelevant to this win and the cup itself. If you bring him out and tell him he has the right, you just feed his ego which got out of hand that's it.

Argentina's win brought me so much joy. When France almost snatched the cup from Argentina with their equalizing goal in the second half i was wondering if the 23 years old Mbappé will have to win the world cup two times in a roll without any opposition but was delighted when the penalty shoot ended in favour of Argentina and finally Messi won the only cup he hasn't won in his career he can even decide to retire anytime soon.

I can't fully agree with that the whole world never believed that Argentina can able to take the Fifa Trophy in their home. It is true that after the match with Saudi Arabia, Argentina fans were a little disappointed but they managed to turn in to their form in the next match. And since then they haven't lost another match and ended the tournament by winning the cup outright. I think Argentina was one of the favorite teams in this World Cup, so I think if people think any other team is capable of winning the final match, Argentina should be included in that list.

After a long wait of 36 years, Messi team Argentina finally won the breathtaking final and became this year's world champion. Argentina supporters and the whole world never believed that Argentina will win the World Cup this time. And Lionel Messi has made this impossible possible. But this champion trophy was much more important in Messi life. Congratulations Argentina, congratulations Messi. I am very happy to get what I wanted as an Argentina supporter.

Morocco doesn't even really deserve to be called a weak team. They beat Belgium, Beat Spain and also beat Portugal to be in the semi finals. So I will not agree if someone says Morocco is a weak team regardless of how the game strategy.

In fact Santos doesn't think so, he believes more in players who score goals and even score hat-tricks like Ramos against Switzerland to play against Morocco. But unfortunately the plan failed, that's because of the strength of the Moroccan team.

You seem to have misunderstood something, but you have to admit that Ronaldo had been on a downswing even before the World Cup started. At club level he has dropped, but he can still contribute to the team even if he doesn't score many goals. If there is someone to blame, then I think someone needs to blame Santos and his plans, and Morocco who played so well against Portugal.

Before this world cup was held, I had said several times in my post regarding Ronaldo. I think the Ronaldo era is over. and it proved, as long as he played for his Portugal national team. he didn't contribute much, and if I'm not mistaken, the only goal he scored was from the penalty spot.

IMO, if only since the beginning of the match Fernando Santos had given more space to other players. maybe the results will be different, because we can see when Ronaldo was backed up for the first time. how Portugal's game is more collective, everyone plays freely without having the burden of targeting Ronaldo.

You have to differentiate with Neymar, Brazil's fault is Tite. Before this World Cup, Argentina played with Messi only once in the 2014 final against Germany and lost.
At the 2018 World Cup, they lost in the round of 16, and at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, they lost in the quarter-finals, so I don't understand what kind of lost semi-finals for Messi you are talking about.

It's not that everyone in Portugal is a weak player except Ronaldo.  All of them are good enough players to qualify for a tournament like the World Cup.  But Ronaldo is a famous player so most people's eyes are on him and opposition players always think goals can be scored mostly through Ronaldo. As people think, Messi plays the most role for Argentina, Neymar for Brazil and Mbappe for France. But it is true that people not only support someone but also support someone and trust him through his good performance.

You are right, Portugal lost the match against Morocco in the World Cup. A legendary player like Cristiano Ronaldo was not allowed to play full time despite being in Portugal. But I think the coach of the team has not made a very wrong decision because the current performance of Cristiano Ronaldo is very bad. Why are they making a big issue out of it salt bae holding trophy ,clicking selfies.  There were soo many people doing that already why not him.  If he wanted to be part of celebration and appreciate his favourite team why can't he?

Seriously? If Portugal's game was so much better without Ronaldo, then they would have won against a weak team such as Morocco. Game will be centered around Ronaldo when he plays, because the opposition realizes that he is the player who is most likely to score goals. And this gives opportunities to the other Portuguese players to make attempts on their own. What next? Brazil playing without Neymar and Argentina playing without Messi, so that the game doesn't get centered around these players? In international football things doesn't work like that.

Well, he earned it and much deserved it as well. And it's not just Lionel Messi alone because it was a team effort that got them in their situation now especially Emiliano Martinez who defended the team in the most intensive shoot-out. It is true that, the World Cup was one of his biggest areas of inadequacy. He also filled that in the Qatar World Cup. He has won everything possible in club football. He also completed the national team's achievements by winning last year's Copa America and this year's World Cup for Argentina. But a personal award is yet to come his way. Although he won the Golden Ball twice at national team and club level, he did not win the 'Golden Foot'. Golden Foot is not the top in terms of status. But almost all the best players of the last two decades in world football have already won the award. This prize can be won once in a life. Offered to active players at least 28 years old.
