[ANNouncement] - New QORA web-accessible nodes Smiley

http://qora.us - with blockex linked - http://block.qora.us

http://qora.tech is back up with blockex linked - http://block.qora.tech

http://qora.online is still up with blockex now linked - http://block.qora.online

Also, we're currently working on a forum specifically designed for QORA, which should be up soon. It will be similar to the forum for BURST for now. http://forums.burst-team.us

Eventually, we'll be making a decentralized version with QORA hosting.

Then of course, the new web wallet, there were some issues that we had during the uploading of the wallet, but I think we've found a way to make it happen, and I'm relaying the information to the developer now to get this accomplished. Will post more updates soon. Thanks!

great! thank you

Qora is very stable! nobody is selling qora at the moment, the web wallet is on the way!

Many alts went down during the BTC price increase, but Qora ist just rising a little bit!
It's obvious for me that we will see major "UP" movements in the next few days!

I am ready to lift off!

Yes, I agree.

Qora is very stable where a lot of coins have gone down during BTC price increase.

This only shows how much people believe in Qora.

There is no doubt it will go up.

Hi there, I am a developer from BURST Coin, who is working on a very big project. I am making a Web-Browser with built in functionalities that even the leading web browsers do not have. Some of these functions are in-built VPN, Proxy changer and local wallets for BURST Coin and QORA Coin. This project will revolutionize the crypto-currency world. I will now explain about the two Alt-Coins that are used in the project.

QORA Coin:
New 2nd generation cryptocurrency designed from the ground up to solve Bitcoin's biggest problems.
Built from scratch and will not rely on any other cryptocurrency • Uses a new proof of stake algorithm making it future-proof Developed in Java.
Relied on IPO for initial distribution of the supply. The total amount of Qora in existence is 10'000'000'000 (10 billion)

I take it u just reiterated his statement. Quora is alive and is STILL alive. Is shocking for me coz it was a dead jinx for years, no trading activity, just a name in the hall of shame. As u build a browser, u spark some booming news with ur posts which is that same "alive element" he was talking about.

Ur browser seems like late innings here. U should have built it last year mate, otherwise tough luck with getting this moved.

Sounds great. Qora already has some advanced features unlike other coins and with the browser coming up, I hope its userbase will grow to tens of thousands of users in the next few months Smiley

-[ANNouncement]- connection issue fix for QORA Smiley

After a group discussion this morning, we've found an issue, and the reason that people are disconnecting from nodes, and not getting as many connections as we know that are out there.

The issue is on the person being connected TO side. So, if you'd like other people to be able to connect TO your node for sync, you'll need to open port 9084 on your firewall.

Port 9084 being blocked on incoming connections causes QORA sync to not connect.

There was a hiccup in the network today that has lead us to this discovery, and also we've updated the main peers file that everyone downloads in github with some new solid static IP peers.

the new solid peers are...

188.166.16.64
23.92.218.205
128.199.45.81
192.111.150.248
192.111.150.249

then another node that will maybe not be static forever, but is up now...

71.94.87.188

To everyone running QORA nodes, please open port 9084, and/or port forward 9084 to the IP of the machine that is running that node.

Hopefully this will also give Poloniex many more connections and allow them to stay sync'd and receive new blocks. Thanks everyone!

great! thanks!

and the web wallet?
best wishes!

Here is the settings.json file that has all those peers in it.
Just replace the one in your qora folder after closing the wallet properly by clicking "File" and "Quit".

a webwallet would be great  Smiley

Exactly. It would make things much easier and convenient for you to send a receive Qora instantly. If added, it could help attract newcomers into the Qora platform, thus making it even more useful. Since, Qora is a decentralized web server, I think that it is possible to implement an online wallet with it that would be free from censorship, and most of all truly unstoppable.

Also, a Qora application for mobile devices would be pretty handy. Most people have smartphones nowadays, so it is a good entry point for newcomers to get to know more about Qora and cryptocurrencies. If devs decide to take these routes, then it would be pretty ideal in order to help Qora grow in the long term. Just suggesting.  Grin

little secret...  web wallet is almost complete Wink

That are awesome news! Shocked
Thank you!

Rather keep my coins on my Rasp Pi, but that's awesome news for people who doesn't have one and can't have a PC/laptop running 24/7 to keep their wallet online Cheesy

There are a few final little issues we're working out, just need to communicate with one of the core devs about one final thing, then I'll be ready to get it out there I think.

After that, I'll be looking into doing some release videos, and pushing them and some press release documents to the news agencies.

That's good news. Any updates concerning the issue with Poloniex wallet?

I've given Tristan vbcs' Skype address, and told him to talk to him, so they can hopefully figure it out together, because I've tried all the thing I know to get him working... Seems to me it's some weird networking issue on their end... because I have multiple QORA wallets running without issue at all...

There is any countdown? Grin

lol, not a countdown. I'm not going to be doing any sort of pre-announcements anymore, but I figured that since this was nearly complete I could give a little mention due to the people talking about it. Once the final issues are worked out I'll let everyone know Smiley

Hmmmm.. promises?

All it needs is a a little marketing and people to realize its true potential.
