Hello everyone! How are we all doing today? Hope well!
I was informed today by the new QORA main dev (catbref) that he had a new version ready for testing! This is the latest beta version of QORA, and is not an 'official' release of any kind.
What this is, is an option for the community to help beta test the new version, and give their opinions/issues so that we can improve/fix them.
The db issues may not be fully resolved, which is why this is a beta test release.
IF YOU WANT TO HELP US, DO THE FOLLOWING...
Install this version. If you're running windows, please try using the exe and let us know your experience with the newly created installer.
Run and test, do anything and everything you can on QORA, and let us know your results.
Document your logs if you have crashes! This is very important for the development team to be able to accurately pinpoint and resolve any issues. If you don't include your logs with your issues, it makes the chances of them being fixed diminish significantly.
so PLEASE include your logs along with your issues' explanation when posting your reply.
post your reply here and let us know your experience.
Thanks!
Here's another step forward with QORA development. Stay tuned for more very soon!

By the way, I though you were the main dev of Qora. Who is this new QORA main dev (catbref) ? Did he get paid for what he has done?
I am not really a developer. I'm a facilitator and team leader. I also handle infrastructure, some web development, writings, and announcements and community management. I have a very large server infrastructure and I've basically been running the entire QORA network while it is being updated and fixed. I'm a large miner as well, which has given me the money with which to pay the team...
I didn't even hold any QORA to speak of until the polo delist when I bought as much as I could.
I'm literally only doing this because I BELIEVE IN QORA. So I wanted to take on the task of reviving it and making it into what I know it can be.
Of course the devs are being paid, I never ask anyone to do work that I'm not willing to pay for.
I'm doing this for everyone, and out of my own pocket aside from donations that come in, which a few have but not very many.
So yea, that's partially why FUD and trolls coming in here with nonsense talking about myself or my team really gets on my nerves. I'm not doing this for any other reason than I want to, I wasn't even one of the original QORA holders who is sitting on a huge stack of coins. I love QORA's tech, and I believe in the project. So I'm helping it move forward.
If anyone WOULD like to help in the way of donations towards the development team, that would be appreciated, but I've made sure that I have enough to get the project done otherwise I wouldn't have started it.
Only reason it took as long as it did, was trolls and nonsense that attempted to dampen my reputation and hinder my ability to do what I said I would do, for the same reason to hurt my reputation.
But the good thing is, time heals all bullshit, and with enough of it it will be so obvious the reality of the situation, trolls will be silenced immediately by everyone. So I'm not worried about it.
I do apologize that it took this long to really get things rolling, but I have no intention on going back on my word, QORA will be the most amazing project most people have ever seen. Even just compiling a list of ACTUALLY DECENTRALIZED SERVICES that QORA can perform, takes a lot of time, because there are SO MANY!
I truly believe that the true decentralization people will fall in love with QORA, as it is one of the ONLY coins that really truly does EVERYTHING decentralized, for real. No central servers or central authorities over ANY aspect. IT is SO COOL! I refuse to let such cool tech go by the wayside, and things that have no merit at all come up to the top. So I choose to demonstrate what REAL decentralization is. With the help of QORA.
Anyway, yea... I went on a bit of a rant here, but I think you get my point.
