well, I guess my 'wording' could have been better, but 'yes'? ... lol... I was always not '100% sure' how certain aspects of what I was planning were going to function fully.
But... thanks to our amazing lead dev. @𝑐𝑎𝑡 - we have come up with solutions for any of the 'issues' that were potentially there, and there have been multiple commits made recently to address them.
There is not much left on the 'to-do list' now...

I have a very exciting announcement for everyone who has been so patient and stood by us through this long process of development, etc...
Initially, the plan was to make 2 platforms...* - this has since changed. Now... we are going to Combine the ideas of Qortal, and the ideas of QORA2, into the QORT platform.*
What this means simply, is that QORT will not only be a TOTALLY without central authority trade portal... it will also have the social media, blogs, and web hosting capabilities of QORA2's plans.
QORT will essentially be QORA2, and QORT.
This I think will alleviate some 'confusion' for people, as they weren't seeming to really 'grasp' my nonsense rants in regard to my plans for two platforms previously anyway....
SO...
We are now going to have a platform capable of ... well... quite simply... BASICALLY ANYTHING.
All with NO central control of any kind, no centralized management over any aspect, no 'permissions' needed aside from those that are between the two explicit parties wishing to execute a transaction, in the case of the trades, OR... between an account and the blockchain itself, or services hosted therein, again with no need for any centralized management or ownership whatsoever.
The community will TRULY RUN THE PLATFORM.
Our initial ideas for the Minters, will be the initial governance used for voting and control over 'direction', etc... followed by the implementation of the other algorithms for both the trade portal, and the content hosting and distribution aspects, allowing the community to literally have full control over the things they see within THEIR platform.
This is something that I feel is WHAT BLOCKCHAIN WAS MEANT TO BE, before it was bastardized to hell by many greedy parties, looking to make profit.... as is most everything in today's world it would seem.
The platform will be without any ONE control point, but instead with MANY decentralized control points, with a vote-inspired influence over platform direction, development direction, content 'management', coin 'listings', etc etc etc.
Whole idea is that the 'founders' and the higher level initial minters, the ones that come over from QORA forgers, will be the baseline for the group that provides these votes.
After which, the new line of minters, taking the time to support the network and therefore level their accounts up, can become as influential as they like, and include their more influential vote in whichever proposal they find suitable to their specific desires for the platform.
Founders' influence will diminish over time, to a point that eventually, unless they keep up with their sufficient level of required network support and input, will become 'just like any other account'.
if they DO keep up with things, they will be able to maintain a marginal 'lead' in influence at the beginning, during the time the platform will require that strong party of people supporting it and keeping it online, before handing it off to the people wishing to become minters and take over those duties, as well as the larger chunk of the block reward scheme.
Eventually, though, founders will be set at a very slight advantage over any 'normal user' who has dedicated his efforts into supporting the network by running a full node, and thus completing his end of the 'give more get more' bargain that is inherently within QORT's design.
Then, at a point as of yet undecided, and will be based on the level of 'need' for the founder's influence needing to be higher... founders will become 'a level 10 account' just like any other. Albeit, with the founder title still remaining, if for nothing other than 'recognition' as one of those that put blood sweat and tears into making the project become a reality.
The level system with regard to the minting accounts, is incredibly important, and a core factor to the success and longterm viability of the project. Basing the rewards and voting influence on the platform, directly to the support given by the minting account, to the network itself.
Essentially, if you prove yourself as a viable non-bad-actor full node on the network, and continue to provide yourself as such, remaining in stable uptime, connectivity, and full node status... you will be rewarded more greatly than others, and have a vote with a higher influence when cast than others. Directly relating your network support, to your reward and influence, is the whole idea that will begin at the launch...
The focus will still be to get the trade portal going as the first 'service' on the chain.
Then, we will put focus on the the 'blogs, web hosting, social media' aspects, and deal with any issues there for the initial implementation... giving way to 'THE INTERNET 2.0' blockchain hosted data, essentially fully 'unhackable' content hosting, services, etc... run by the same trusted network of full nodes that have been providing support and gaining levels within the system.
Later, the implementation of a method for 'verifying good content', such as some sort of 'upvote' or the like, will be executed for those of us who prefer to do more support by way of posting useful, helpful, or informative / funny / useful in whatever way... content on the system, for other users then to make use of.
Then, people will be able to not only make more by supporting the network directly, as a full node... but also by supporting it by providing useful content, providing useful services that the community enjoys, providing comedy, tutorials, the sky's the limit.
While at the same time we keep the system rewarding those providing good reliable full nodes, too... as of course, those will continue to remain an extremely essential portion of the platform, ... (as is ANY blockchain platform, however it seems the focus on actually HAVING full nodes on the network, has seemingly gone by the wayside in many projects... a problem which I believe is extremely devastating to the long-term viability of a blockchain based platform.) After all... without those full nodes sitting there verifying the information and being the extremely important data hub that they are... the blockchain becomes weaker, and more heavily controlled into more selected hands, inevitably leading to the centralization of that chain to those who are clever enough to be able to host a full node, and/or intelligent enough to understand the fact that they can end up being majority force of the system, by being that node... This type of situation is something we're going to actively AVOID in QORT, hopefully leading us to a REVOLUTIONARY and STRONG decentralized platform for anything anyone can dream up and build on the node network.
This project is the culmination of MANY MANY YEARS of thought, practice, development, planning, and more... within the hearts and minds of MANY extremely intelligent community members, developers, strategists, etc.
and I am EXTREMELY EXCITED for what we will be seeing in the launch, so soon now!
We will be launching not only with a fully constructed model and design, but also a fully functional and VERY EASY TO USE user interface, built completely from scratch by our development team. Nothing we have done is able to be done in any fashion other than 'completely by hand' given the complexity and extensive nature of the project. No using pre-built anything for our team.... we literally had to do EVERYTHING from SCRATCH here.
however... we do believe that all of our work is going to be very well taken, and will pay off quite well for not only the developers and core people who have supported us and guided us along the way... but anyone who feels like they are down to experience and become part of this new idea in blockchain networks.
Anyone still holding QORA will be rewarded for it.
Anyone forging QORA blocks keeping the QORA chain moving, will be rewarded for it.
Anyone being a full node on QORT, will be rewarded for it.
The system doesn't descriminate based on amount of coin held, nor any other aspect aside from the basic 'support' of the network.
if you have the will to ensure you are being a useful part of the community and system... you will be henceforth rewarded for those efforts, and as you continue to prove yourself, the rewards will grow, as will your influence over the platform's future.

it's about time for a system that challenges everything that is wrong with the current designs.
a system that is REALLY built BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, and gives those same people a voice, and a method to get that voice heard.
no possible way to regulate the system, as NO ONE OWNS IT. EVERYONE OWNS IT.
only 'regulation' comes from the system itself, and the users by way of proposals, and voting.
Anyway... I will organize my thoughts a bit more, and post an announcement in the forums, sometime in the near future.

just take away the essence of what I'm saying here, and know this... WE ARE VERY CLOSE NOW.
I will still not be giving a date at this time, as I refuse to put any added stress on the developers, who have done amazing work for everyone without any complaints, and very little payment. However, I can say that daily we are coming up with new things, daily we are making more headway, and daily new commits being pushed, and testnet updated, testing being done in many aspects. Simulated tests, real tests, as much as possible to be done prior to the official launch.
When will we see all this? Web hosting on Qortal blockchain ? Blogs ? Chain messaging ? etc
I mean...it was stated in September 2019.
Soon for 2 years already and there is still nothing but illiquid trading and a very often not operating network - forking, sync stucking.
