Wow, that's great. I tried to quit Facebook, but I work in advertising and it's rather difficult to ignore such a big part of online media altogether.

I am not using Facebook for more than 4 years now. Before that, I used to spend a lot of time every day in Facebook. I might have spend thousands of hours playing the Zynga games such as Farmville and Mafia Wars. Gradually I realized that the time spent on FB is not very productive.

Oh well, same here. I've been wasting my time on that farmville too and the backyard monsters.

But after that, I didn't know when was the last time I opened my facebook. I stopped using facebook when fake news, porns started to show up in my wall and I really don't like that. So I started to read more on forums than FB.
I really haven't played Facebook games or anything like that on Facebook for a long time, for many years my only use of Facebook is to check out some Facebook groups rarely, I'd have deleted my account otherwise.

Facebook itself is not bad it depends on the person who used it if they will use it for hurting others or they will use it in good purpose... Facebook has a lot pf advantage it makes the impossible possible now.. It help us to communicate with other person all over the world and through fb also we convey our feelings,  thoughts and ideas...

I've been a facebook user since 2010 but then thinking of quitting using facebook because toxic people are starting to spread on facebook. I'm now more on using twitter than facebook. Facebook feels like too crowded already that is why I started thinking of quitting facebook.

It has been almost a year already since I decided to stop using facebook. Tell you what, It feels great not seeing all these showbiz personalities, the faces of these stupid politicians, the drama etc...Would you quit facebook?, just try it and I assure you of one thing and that's "Reality".

I personally enjoy FB.
Thanks to FB I can find my ''old'' friends from school or home city, 20-30 years ago see how they live, their family photos Smiley
Of course I don't like spamming, ads etc.

It's not a good idea to quit Facebook, since it is the easiest way to communicate people around the world. We also enjoy uploading and posting our photos.

Why only Facebook, that's only the beginning. Try to limit the usage of internet and gadgets and you may discover so many new opportunities, u won't believe

I'm a fan of FB bcos of the creativity and success. I have an account but I only login like once a month or so, really at times when I have nothing to do. Actually its good to see old friends posting on FB which means they are doing great. And also serve an a reminder to me, I have not met some friends for quite some time so perhaps a call is a good idea.

Of course I think everyone got to be careful on their posting/info. Bad intention people are always waiting for a piece of right info for them to strike. Sharing too much is not always a good thing.

I am now on a hiatus from fb. And it's not the first time i do it. But i still need fb to maintain communications with old friends and new friends. But whenever it felt boring, i will always take hiatus just like i'm doing now. And i already been blocked for sevwral times based on reports by bigots who overdosed on religious and politic fanaticism. It quite fun anyway. Hahaha

Do the Facebook died? Yes and no. It is more of a social network of baby boomers now.

Do the Facebook died? Yes and No. They own Instagram, Whatsapp and Oculus.
I have tried quitting facebook for some time during the past few years and i can testify that quitting something that you are addicted to is not very easy at all, if quitting a digital addiction is that hard then how about a physical one.

Well, for my own opinion in quitting facebook, it depends on the people on how they used it. The creator of facebook made it because he has a purpose, to entertain people, to kill time, to communicate, to let out what's in your mind.

As I said it depends on the people, if they think facebook is useless then do not used it. Somehow if they find it has a good impact to their selves they loved to used it in their daily life. If you do not like what is popping up on your feed then go to security setting and change what would you only want to see.
