Yes, stopping is not easy, especially if you are addicted. Still, we are responsible for ourselves, so if we are addicted, we should start introspecting and looking for a cause to heal ourselves. However, most gambling addicts will find it difficult to recognize that they are addicted to gambling because all they have is the desire to continue gambling. But when awareness from within says that we are addicted to gambling and this must be stopped, we really need help from other people to stop gambling.

Yes, most people don't want to admit that they are addicted to gambling, maybe they feel embarrassed so they don't want to admit it. However, if his gambling addiction is allowed to continue, he will spend more money and leave a lot of debt. The best option is to try to stop before all the money is gone and you go bankrupt.

If a gambling addict cannot overcome his addiction on his own then it is better to ask someone else or a professional for help. It's not good to be an addict although I'm not against gambling, but anything in excess definitely has a bad impact

True, if it's really hard for someone who already addicted but he already admitted the addiction inside him, asking for help from your love ones  to assist you to work your problem with professional to know what's the best practices and remedies to lessen  or to completely move away from gambling can be a good resort, with the guidance of professional, it will be possible to trace the root cause and eliminate it inside your mind. A big help to realize  and quit away from your gambling addiction.
Often even the scenario is as follows: an addicted gambler begins to steal money or sell things from home, his relatives give him to doctors or psychologists, the gambler pretends that he has taken the path of correction, doctors or psychologists see that he is lying, the gambler truly admits the problem and is cured.
I think there are exceptions when the player himself notices his addiction and goes for treatment, but this happens very rarely.
I find a similarity between gambling addicts and drug addicts where both people when they are addicted try to say that they are not addicted but they do the same thing afterwards. For example, someone sells various household items while managing gambling money. Although they present themselves well to others, it is not difficult to understand that something else is going on behind the scenes. I agree with you that people who are recognize their addiction can eventually recover from their addiction. Although that may be difficult for many but not impossible.
What you just explained is what I term self-deceit, there is nothing more dangerous than this when someone is fighting psychological issues. If you are deceiving yourself and finding excuses for ignoble acts and seeing things as though they are normal while they are obviously not normal, then you are still not ready for a change. It's better that friends or family get help for such people because they will not be able to fight within themselves unless they first recognise that they are not doing well. Those people in this category have lost their minds and consciousness, these are what could have been preserving their mindsets into doing the right thing. This is why we should not lose it in anything we do, the more we are cautious and conscious in gambling, the better control we have in what we do and preserves our minds as well.
It's easier to render support and help to an addicted gambler or drug addict when in the first instance they have accepted and acknowledge their addiction. For admittance is the first step to finding solutions because you can bother to bring solution to a problem you don't believe exist in your life. That's why some of the gambling addicts that family members and friends tried to help escape from their addiction ended up no being able to be saved reason being that even the individual you want to save from addiction doesn't believe he's suffering from addiction. So for people like that it's very hard and they are the worst to give advise against their addictiveness either to gambling or drug, they will always attack you immediately with counter words all of the times.

By the way, this was the only gambler girl I know at the moment. She was a very smart analyst, and became interested in betting. At some point, she started winning eight out of ten bets and lost control. But at the same time, after losing a lot, she realized that she had accumulated too many loans at bad interest rates, and she decided to stop. She confessed to her mother and they cured her.
It would be good if the girl could realize that she had made a fatal mistake in having a large loan. And she was willing to admit her mistake to her mother so they could cure his attraction to gambling. Maybe the girl has not yet reached the stage of gambling addiction because she can still realize that she is already in debt or has started to experience a gambling addiction. And she wants to cure her gambling activity so she can overcome it. Indeed, gambling can have an impact on a person and it will depend on how the person reacts to it. If someone realizes that he is gambling too often, he can reduce it or even decide to stop gambling outright. Everything will be his choice.
It seems to me that in general it is much more difficult for girls and women to reach such a level in their games that they actually require treatment for gaming addiction by professional   psychologits or psychiatrists, or even medical treatment prescribed by doctors.  Firstly, few women are interested in gambling compared to men.  Secondly, women are less risk-averse in general, they are more cauttious, and I would say they would never make such a risky bet for a large amount that a man can decide on.  So you remembered a really rare case.  And by the way, on the issue of treating gambling addiction in women, the picture here does not correspond at all to the ratio in the treatment of drug addiction, where the ratio of drug addicted men and women is approximately the same.
But I think there are about an order of magnitude fewer women suffering from gambling addiction than men.

Yes, in my opinion, we don't need to be ashamed of the condition of gambling addiction, because somehow it must be cured. A gambling addict tends to be more emotionally and psychologically unstable, especially if he experiences lose while gambling. Another thing that is more frightening is that maybe they will commit crimes for money or end their lives because they can no longer afford to pay their debts. So, before something bad happens, it's a good idea for us to open up and find a solution to this condition

It seems that it is more difficult for most people to get out of online gambling addiction than offline gambling. If necessary, perhaps he should abandon everything that might make him access gambling sites, as that would force him to stop gambling online

It needed to address before things get even worse, if you can aide the person that have this kind of problem there's a lot of patience that you needed to provide, it's not as easy as it is to make them realize but if you value the person, you will take all the risk just to help him straighten this issue.

I guess the easy access to online gambling is far more difficult to handle. Offline gaming can be avoided just not to go in the place, but with online is just a device away from doing it and continues playing.
Gambling addiction is a risk that every gambler must face. In my opinion, online or offline gambling addiction is equally difficult to overcome because when it comes to gambling addiction, several psychological or psychological aspects of those who experience problems.
You are right that if someone has a gambling addiction problem, it must be addressed immediately, otherwise it will be detrimental to the person who is a gambler and can even harm their family, those closest to them and even their environment. But the problem is that someone who has a gambling addiction sometimes always denies or doesn't feel that they have a gambling addiction problem. If they finally realize it, it will definitely be too late or it will have a very negative impact on themselves.

There must be family, friends, colleagues or other people who assess and make a person aware that he or she has a gambling addiction. If someone still has other people who still care about them and make them aware then perhaps the problem of gambling addiction can be overcome with various methods including rehabilitation.
But not everyone can have the courage and empathy for people who have gambling addiction problems, even in their families. As @komisariatku said, someone who is addicted to gambling sometimes becomes emotionally unstable if they are reminded or made aware of their gambling addiction problem and this causes not everyone to want to deal with someone who is addicted to gambling.

That is precisely the issue now, everything is so convenient that a great deal of what we want is just a few clicks away from our door, but this convenience is dangerous and it makes some addictions harder to overcome, for example there are those that area addicted to shopping and right now is incredibly easy to get a credit card, plus almost anything you could dream of buying can be brought to you regardless of the distance from your home, so it should not be surprising people like them have enormous problems leaving their addiction behind.

nice to see you are gambling for fun and your friends too.
playing with small amount of money which we can happily afford to lose is fun because our emotions don't take control of us.
if we lose a reasonable amount in one or two bets, it's highly possible that emotions will take control of you and you will try to recover that amount by placing huge bets,
sometimes we can recover but many times we bust our account in that process,
it's better to stop at that point so we can save the remaining balance.

When we make a bet, we must prepare a sum of money that we are willing to lose, so that there is no word of regret when we lose. making small bets for fun and adding fun when gathering with friends is always fun to do.
The big bets that are often done by someone sometimes they do it not with friends but when they are alone, because if they do big gambling in front of their friends then there will always be people who try to stop them, while when making big bets it takes a calmness because it has to consider it.

If a gambling addict could stop gambling, he would have the opportunity to change his mindset and try to reduce his gambling time and money. But unfortunately, not many can stop gambling because they are still interested in chasing wins and recovering their losses. That is why they will continue to gamble and not stop after getting their big win. And even though they have won big, maybe they won't stop because they still want more wins.

A gambling addict may be able to open his eyes when someone else says they have a gambling addiction and needs to reduce it immediately. But it will go back to the gambling addict because most will still say he is okay and everything is under his control. That is the difficulty of changing the mindset of a gambling addict who cannot see the impact of gambling on him.

Gambling for a small amount is showing what you know as a gambler. Limit yourself to the casino, then have your friends with you. When it's like that, you'll really feel like you're having fun because you're with someone.

It's just that I had an experience in the past when my friend was gambling with me. I always lost until I ran out of money, while my friend always won. In short, at that time, he had a lot of money, and I told him he refused or stopped, and he followed. I felt jealous of him, but he scolded me and let me eat fast food.

Definitely agree that gambling as a primary source of income can be dangerous and stressful but life is all about managing risk right? Sounds like you suffered a huge loss lately maybe? Agree to the extent that using gambling as a means to earn regularly can trap one in a cycle of dependency, where the next bet always feels like the chance to "make it all back" - but at the end of the day maybe you have to separate work from pleasure so that your day job doesn't become an addiction

E.g by placing a limit and reducing the number of time and energy you put in at the initial stage and this could mean a lot because someone may think that not quitting 100% may not yield any positive result for the addict but believe me it will eventually and on the long run.
I have done something like this when I am addicted to smoking reduce the habit after a few months, I will get used to reducing it finally stopped completely and it was the same as what my friend was done, he could stop gambling that way, it was true that the addict would find it difficult to quickly recovered and will not be able to instantly stop just like that, it takes time to change habits slowly after being accustomed it will be easy to stop gambling.

It is true to limit time and money when gambling gradually because that way it will make it easier to get rid of habits slowly and must be accompanied by high intentions to stop because without that it will not be possible and even very impossible to do that, the point is always confident And sure also do it consistently and the results will not disappoint in the end.

Quitting a habit that has invariably taken over you could possibly be the hardest thing you'd wanna try... But if you've got solid reasons to do so, then you'll be driven on that motive..
It takes alot of resilience and self-motivation to avoid them sites and supress the urge to gamble; especially if you were already on your winning streak...The social media has made things WORST this day as you'll be redirected to several more sites with more sumptuous offers just after signing out on the former.

I agree with you on the part where you stated the obvious how hard it could be for someone who is already addicted to quit the habit, you rightly said it will be harder if the habit is already earning something in terms of gambling and being on the winning stride,  but if there is a will there will definitely be a way,  so for that ongoing what have already been part of you could be hard but not impossible but best easy way is to give it a long term approach and not by quitting at once.

E.g by placing a limit and reducing the number of time and energy you put in at the initial stage and this could mean a lot because someone may think that not quitting 100% may not yield any positive result for the addict but believe me it will eventually and on the long run.

As long as the person is not addicted to that habit, he can easily change it without much of difficulty.  It is the addiction that makes things very difficult.  Like in gambling, if one falls to gambling addiction, it would be very hard for him to pull himself back to sanity where he is in control of his activities.  I do not blame the social media here because they are there to advertise but you are the one who is in contorl wheter you let yourself get influenced or shut these social media advertisements down and ignore them totally.

I say, don't blame others for a mistake done by ourselves, instead reflect and see how we can change things for the better if we find ourselves in pits of trouble due to gambling excessively.

We could say such think is a consequence of how marketing and directed advertisement work nowadays. Once Google and other big technology companies are aware of one's product preferences and tastes, then it is just matter of time before the stream of ads start to come. Sure, it is not a thing which is exclusive to the gambling world or ecosystem. No many of us would be mad by finding something actually useful and appealing through these new mechanisms; but certainly will make life harder for anyone who wishes to disconnect from an habit or specific service which is generating problems to them.

Sometime you may think that you are playing for the fun, but unknowingly to them that they are already going out to chase a particular direction,  although a few gamblers are smart enough to set a limit to their involvement in casinos.
But above all, you should maintain a standard limits to your gambling operations and making sure that you are not going all out too much in any direction, because is very important to maintain such to avoid getting into something that won't be avoidable such as a case of addiction.

Quitting a habit that has invariably taken over you could possibly be the hardest thing you'd wanna try... But if you've got solid reasons to do so, then you'll be driven on that motive..
It takes alot of resilience and self-motivation to avoid them sites and supress the urge to gamble; especially if you were already on your winning streak...The social media has made things WORST this days as you'll be redirected to several more sites with more sumptuous offers just after signing out on the former.
