to be fair, we (with Myagui) also "sold" it for dev purpose to a pool owner, i guess that can be useful to test the pool settings and the difficulty Wink

The gpu speed is not so high compared to the cpu (avg 300H/s per card)... cuda is very close to a cpu (with a lot more transistors) and its normal there is an advantage from "compute cards"...

oc miner is a well loved and trusted friend of everyone involved in crypto im sure he used it only for good

Going back to 20k, and i tripled my coin. It's good to have faith sometimes.

Man, I almost lost it.

Small challenges like these often present themselves on crypto related projects. What will separate us from the many others is our ability and tact for solving them as they arise. Thanks for believing in us.

Precisely why we're not particularly worried about this right now, we feel it is more efficient that we complete the tasks we've already started than divert ourselves to solving what we consider to be a minor problem that can be solved should it become necessary. Thanks Epsylon3.

In fact, it's still more profitable to buy and stake than it is to mine on the proposed GPU miner.

i just have released cpuminer-multi v1.1 with axiom support.

https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi/releases/tag/v1.1-multi

BCT Thread is in my signature...

About the GPU Miner, you have to know i wrote it yesterday for private use (almost 24h of non stop work), so the top 10 of suprnova is not "GPU Mining" with mine. They have this speed since beginning. And djm34 just started today to work on it
No public release will be made because its a "cpu only" coin and i respect that...

u are only sharing your gpu miner with yourself for your own gain i cant complain abt that if  i had the skills i would too  thanks for not selling it to a chinese farm so no one gets any coins

I do have a good feeling about this dev. And gpu miner is unavoidable, so it's nice that we've finally recognize its existence and now this coin can move on.

And wow, the buy support is coming back in abundance.  Shocked

Thanks for the update @AxiomCryptocurrency, a few of us still have faith Smiley. I agree that this is a minor issue and hope it can be resolved quickly (and yes i am a newb so take it with a grain of salt).

We're more than capable of modifying the algorithm, adding in another one, or creating our own to eliminate the use of a GPU miner should it become problematic. We would rather be spending our time developing our in wallet decentralized OTC trading system, or our implementation of Curve25519. Should the time need to be spent resolving this, we'll allocate as necessary.

Please do that  Grin I am supporting this coin and I believe in its bright future.
Nice to see hard working dev(s).

Please do not use this event to try and defame the developer team as having a GPU miner, we never had one and we refused to buy it because we don't believe they are necessary. If this becomes an issue, we will simply make the necessary changes to eliminate it.

This is just a minor situation that is being magnified by few who are more interested in reducing the price for their own benefit than addressing the actual issue and realizing that it's both minor currently, and completely resolvable.

We have yet to see this GPU miner in action, we've got nothing more than a screen shot posted that is simple to create using an editor as basic as microsoft paint, or as simple as modifying the existing minerd code to post a 750Ti and adding a multiplier to the hash so the output is higher.

Bottom line We're investigating the GPU miner and if it turns out to be an issue in which few get an unfair advantage the problem will be resolved.

Axiom Team

There is nothing that cannot be resolved. People will be watching how the dev team handles this and if they manage to steer the boat clear of the rocks people will have more respect for the team especially of they pass this test of character. I haven't observed anything scammy about the dev team so far so I am following a wait and see approach to see if they have enough resolve to fix the issue at hand.

People in crypto do not have a lot of elasticity meaning that a small change can have a fast and big impact. This works both ways in that a small issue causes a big drop and if it is proven to be a non-event or fixed it can very quickly lead to a sharp rise again.
