I think Bitcoin is helpful to the economy because it helps the people, may they be employed or unemployed. It helps the people to be productive especially on their vacant times or when they are not working. Bitcoin is getting a lot if attention in many countriesnow because it really helps the people.
I could say that it is helpful but only if the government will make it as legal and become one of the source of income of every person who is interested this kind of opportunity. But it will remain unhelpful if the government will not make a legal action for this and most probably if they will declare it as illegal aside from removing the chance from people making a profit through it the income that can possibly come by asking a tax from it will lost to nothing.

I can say bitcoin is helpful to the economy if the government in that country is collecting tax from bitcoin. And also many of bitcoiners now are unemployed people and bitcoin is really helpful to them so I think that would help the economy because bitcoin will lessen the unemployed.
for some people, bitcoin really does help the economy, and for some others it is not true, because they are just all in seeing others get success. well, they also want to like it without knowing the exact system of how to benefit from bitcoin. well, but I think it will make them learn.

Yes of course it helps the economy as unemployed individuals has the chance to have financial freedom. Even those highly developed countries got interested in Bitcoin because they believe it will bring good result to it's economy and the people who are interacting with it. As a person who suffers poverty I can say that Bitcoin makes everything convenient and easy. Taxation is also present that is why we enthusiasts has contribution to the economy and the country. 
Just imagine Japan which is already a 1st class economy country but they still accept the blockchain technology with arms wide open and embraced it. Their economy has even boosted and grow more compared to the years where blockchain was not created yet.

Bitcoin has helped state improve economically by helping its citizens earning money. It is understood if the people living in a particular state are stable financially and most of them are running their own businesses, they are going to pay all legal taxes, eventually helping the state to become stronger financially.
