I never read a white paper when I invest in a project. I don't think most people will study it seriously. It's really a bad habit.

White Paper is the first document I read when I learn another one ICO project.  Unfortunately, there are not many quality papers. Some of them are really have very low quality. When I read the WP I want to see main idea of the project, hard and soft cap, key dates, and perspectives to the society...

I always read the whitepaper if I want to invest into a new ICO, it's importen to know as much as possible. But if I invest into a coin  there's already pass the ICO face, I sometime read the roadmap, but most time I just trade the coin after the market swings, and sell it again.
If a do bounty for an ICO project I also read the whitepaper, before I spend too much time promoting the project.

It is the blue print of the crypto project, where you can see the road map, the team information, company partners and many more. It will benefit to you as a bounty hunter if you see the potential aspect if the project is in demand around the market or if that project is got a right time specially on developing the system. Not perusing white paper resembles one who is tied in with beginning an adventure without a goal. It is essential to peruse the white paper as one would be very much guided in light of the data in that. Perusing white paper would open one to thinking about the project,it's guide, group behind the venture, and so on It is conceivable to know whether a task will succeed or not by simply perusing the WP. So this essential piece of the whole procedure shouldn't be taken with levity.

I have long noticed that many users do not read the technical description of projects and in the future ask silly questions about the project, the answers to which they can find in the technical description.

Reading whitepapers is so boring, but it is the most important thing when you analyze the projects. I am sure that without it you can't make quality analysis.

I agree with you. White paper is sometimes too big and investors do not have time to read it. It is better to ask some questions in the support team.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!

the point from your quotes is promote Mybit and deeponion right ?
maybe i will read their whitepaper soon, but before i read it i want to know, why you recommended both crypto project to us ?

Reading white paper today is a rarity. To be honest, I do not read it myself often. I read only general information about the project and a little technical documentation and that's it. Of course you need to read it completely, but then there will not be enough time

While it might be true that reading whitepaper is an important thing to do when considering a project, as it really gives insight as to what a project is about, and could go a long way into determining whether or not it is a good project, it is still something a lot of people consider a s a total bore and usually a long read, and don't bother themselves with it at all. Mostly, they go for the reviews, or just read a few lines.

I think the most recommendable are the first ones, like the Bitcoin and the ethereum, those white papers are really amazing and open your mind to a world of possibilities, there are also some good ones like EOS and the airdrop/bounty that I am now (Dstra) is also quite interesting

If you are investing then it is a must for you to read the whitepaper and understand there scope and view but if you are bounty hunter and you write articles then you must as well read to understand what you are to write. Choosing a bounty to participate in requires you to read the whitepaper but just few do that

The first thing i do when i get to know of a prject is to first read the whitepaper because i think it would give an insight on what the prohect is about.
Dought it doesn't end there, still go further to study its development.
