The only thing that I don't like about reading whitepapers is when they changed it during or 1 week before the ICO starts. This usually happens when the concept or product is changed to accommodate more buyers and investors.
Since I was started here in this forum I usually read some of my target project. Although I was participated in a particular bounty campaign I always read whitepapers of other bounty campaign. For me this is a good way to learn more about cryptocurrency and also I study their platforms because maybe sometimes a bounty that I didn't joined before is will become successful so it is a good thing to try to invest on that particular bounty campaign.
Reading alot of whitepapers are not wasting time for me. Instead it gives us an additional information about their projects. Don't close you eyes for the greatest possibilities to become successful.

I always read the whitepapers before investing in ico or joining bounty campaigns. This is the first thing I do for understand project main idea and solutions.
There is where the information for the project is located. Whitepaper is a plan for a project and you can read whether it will become successful in the future. You can read there mission and vision of the team why they are developing such project as well as the allocation of funds. You can know there if the project is legit and truly going to develop well and the contributors can earn for the future. 
Whitepaper opens ones eyes to the real facts about a project. This information can also be found on the website or even the projects blogs or their telegram announcement channel.

Reading white paper would expose one to knowing about the project,it's road map, team behind the project, etc It is possible to know if a project will succeed or not by just reading the WP. I agree with you. Without reading the white paper more potential entry in the scam project. Therefore, to start participating in the project must read the white paper first, then analyze the potential or not to grow, so we do not fall into the empty project.

I have met several guys that decided to invest in ICOs even without opening whitepaper! How? What are they thinking about? I do not think they are those millionaires, who just do it for fun. always read whitepaper thoroughly.
Haha they look at other people, be it friends or relatives, but they can be anyone in the internet, with the salutation that will earn a lot of money, so they are so blind.
Whitepaper is the first document I read when i learn another one ICO project. Unfortunately, there are not many quality papers. Some of them are really have very low quality. When I read the whitepaper I want to see main idea of the project, hard and soft cap, key dates, and perspectives to the society.

White papers of good one coins are really extreme informative. With these whitepapers you can have a lot of knowledge about the crypto world.

Yes i agree that white paper have a good information for us and for ever one who are now new to bitcoin they can get the market survey from here and they can also use different ways to start bitcoin investment and the current users can also judge the market and they can forecast the future and in this way we can experts of the crypto currency. it is a great source to learn the crypto.

for those who are new in this market I recommend to start from reading articles, because it is written in a more simple language than whitepaper, but before investing of course you should read whitepaper. I rarely read, because I think many projects are a scam. I read on projects that are good
The whitepaper is important to be read, especially if you are considering in Investing in a project. It needs to be thoroughly analyzed if you are a serious investor. It is the guide on how the project goes as you can find the roadmap. So, this is really a must to read to all investors if you want to know the goal of the team. Somehow, most people are too lazy to read and just rely on the supporters around the project.If you don't read the whitepaper then you are most probably not a serious investor and just plan on participating in a bounty or airdrop for the free tokens.
Reading white paper is very helpful, beneficial on us. It can give us information that we can use in doing or participating in bounty and joining any signature campaign. It widens our knowledge in world of cryptocurrency. It can use as a weapon to scammers.
I would recommend reading the bitcoin white paper and the ethereum whitepaper. There are a lot of gems in it. I read them many times now and everytime I read, there are things that I learned which I didn't noticed from the previous reads. Lately I've been interested with techinical papers like zk-snarks and equihash. I find them truely amazing to read.
