The fact that Litecoin hasn't had any Github updates in several months, makes me feel as if the project has been abandoned and that the creators have no vision for the cryptocurrency...
Litecoin hasn't suffered from the same problems that btc and many other coins have in the past. Also it's been around longer, more recognised and more trusted than many other coins. But that is the only advantages I can say that LTC has above others.

Truthfully speaking I don't really believe in litecoin. For me it is a another fork of bitcoin in some case. It can not be next bitcoin from its nature. Of course it is one of the best coins, but not better than bitcoin
Litecoin is not a bitcoin and it's similar to the bitcoin fork coin, it has offered only the fast blockchain compared with the bitcoin and it has no other value. Bitcoin is bitcoin and litecoin is not bitcoin and this will be forever. Litecoin will never become the next bitcoin and i think anyone should remember this on their minds.

Support. It's just a bitcoin surrogate that will eventually just disappear as unnecessary. Therefore it is better to find a better favorite.
I do not think so. LTC coin is not breakthrough as advertised about it, it is not as popular as ETH and also no favorite than new platforms such as NEO, EOS, ... That's what I observed after a while.
Litecoin is just another one of the bunch, not saying it is bad or something like that, the thing is that it still needs too much time to develop and is stagnant at the moment so it could take decades for it to become bitcoin

What do you mean by the next bitcoin? Judging by the capitalization and popularity, the next bitcoin is the Ethereum! I am sure that in the future it is the Ethereum that is the one which can take 1 place!
I think bitcoin is more precise than ethereum because all markets do not necessarily isolate bitcoin and ethereum when their price rises or falls.
Litecoin is a promising coin with ETH and lot others.Ltc team is also very well.But is has not pass the value of Eth yet.Ltc can be $800-$1000 on its peak.
Impossible. I believe 100 percent that bitcoin cannot be replaced by litecoin. There are still altcoins that are more sophisticated and technologically superior than litecoin so that it is impossible if litecoin will replace bitcoin. In my opinion, the great altcoin that exceeds the greatness and sophistication of this litecoin technology is ethereum. Ethereum proved almost perfect in blockchain technology. Ethereum also proved to be of real benefit so I believe that what might replace bitcoin is only ethereum. Rumours are always not so accurate but I personally Believe Litecoin has its own potential to grow itself way up in cryptocurrency market. but as per the graphs, there are few other alt's which also have good expectations of growth in the market. Figures are not much top notch right now in the market. once the market gets stable on the run we can see who got the potential to grow further in this Cryptocurrency market.

I don't believe in such scenario. Litecoin has always been in the shadow of the other top cryptocurrencies and it is used only for trading on crypto exchanges.

I personally do not believe in litecoin. Could only see negative news for litecoin this year started by its founder charlie lee. So to topple btc, litecoin dev team will have to make many strong changes to litecoin.

Really, do not see this happening. No clear roadmap from litecoin is the major obstacle in litecoin's path. Also its founder charlie lee has broken many investors trust by dumping litecoin.
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
What do you think yourself? Can you imagine any coin displacing Bitcoin from the top? On what grounds? The coins that followed Bitcoin are not bad but not good enough to replace the king of coins. 
I do not think so, because bitcoin will continue to remain as bitcoin and no other coin will replace it, while litecoin will continue to maintain its name.
Yeah I think you're right mate, I think litecoin and bitcoin have different market segmentation in the eyes of its users, so litecoin and bitcoin can grow by itself and indirectly will relate to each other, but to replace the role of bitcoin, I think it is very difficult.
