he said he delete the old formula post right after, jan 2014 is near beginning of service. the quote is from old time and has nothing to do with insurance dinkerplinker

Correct.

That is quoted from January, and was deleted after, as we changed our formula to include other factors.

"changed the formula" and didn't publish it. This was a shady operation from the beginning.

so the early birds who reached full ROI anyway should get even more? fuck the later customers who need recover the most? wut do u really sit there plinkin at?
I'm not trying to say that at all. In fact, I believe he actually stopped sales right around the time the formula changed to "A - B = C" so then there should be either very few people who paid for contracts under the new payment scheme, or none at all. I'm showing people that he has broken his contract with (possibly) all customers.

Well i am glad he/they try to get something restored, and i kinda hope btc prices go up back to over 300 bucks so it would make/pay at least some of my power consumption

We are still a very long way from where btc was 12 months ago ... Hopefully those prices will come again

Does passing out pennies actually protect him from legal action? Or is that just an effect of human nature?

Technically it does protect him somewhat. Like any good scammer, he changed the terms of the contracts. You can see the new formula here:

Payouts "C" are now whatever PBMining wants them to be. Anyone who bought contracts after that change are screwed.
What about people who purchased contracts before that? When they purchased the contract, there was the following term involved:

Hash power efficiency will never change from what it is now, even if we have technical issues.  Our insurance covers you so that you will always receive the proper payments.

So technically, it looks like he broke his own contract with early purchasers.

PCMining user here. How does the guy keep on paying us? Did he left an automatic system that keeps on sending money every week? if not, is he still manually sending money to people even if somehow everyone believes that it's a scam?

Why would he stop? these dust payments have convinced several people here to hold off on pursuing legal action/going to the authorities. If passing out a few pennies could keep you out of jail wouldn't you do it?

Nobody knows because the marks in this thread think that him giving back .0000001% of what they gave him proves it isn't a scam and are remaining bent over to take it.

They rely on constant incoming funds to keep the company rolling.

I wonder if there is a name for such a business plan...

I think the payments we see each week are coming from the hardware he really does own or has a contract for with other companies. Where the whole thing fell over was when he began over selling the hardware ... That's not uncommon, it appears all cloud miners do it to a greater or lesser extent. They rely on constant incoming funds to keep the company rolling.

FWIW, my last four payments have all been getting slightly bigger.

0.00006238
0.00006272
0.00009102
0.00012235

The last one was twice as much as the first one.  Still peanuts though.
