in my opinion before we start investing with crypto currencies we certainly have to understand and understand all the risks that we will get in investing with crypto currencies, one of which is the price we cannot predict with certainty, and with us knowing the risks we can have more confidence and patience in investing even though developments have decreased
You should probably be patient and for sure it will be worth it. Because you can wait the price to up again if you are willing to wait but they have possibility also to decrease the value so hold at your own risk. Keep also the coin are who is good and have future.

but not all people can do that, which mean increase their patience,, most of them will be the weak hands and sell their bag in cheap price because of panic
i believe people who can increase their patience at this moment will get a good profit
I think the most important thing is the project and the team. If they have a good project, it will have to increase the price one day. You have to be patient until that day comes. Even if we're in a red period, it's going to be all right someday.
Red period means the extreme crash situation but now there is not too crash if we talk about Bitcoin price because it is corrected only three times from its previous all time high of $20,000. But, while we talk about the altcoins, these are in serious crash position and even 50x tomes declined from the all time high. CAPP, STQ, POE, HVN are some of the coin which are corrected many and now traded in their ground level. But, the important point is that this the time to buy these coins and these coins are very good for investment. So, do not sell these coins and hold.
I agree and that’s what I’ve been doing since the dip. I’ll only suffer some loss if I continue to sell when the market is down. It really is much better to hold your coins and be patient. Let’s all wait for the market to recover to ensure maximun profit.

Yes, all success requires patience. But not any altcoins we hold. Because there are so many altcoins that will die at this bad time. When its capitalization is not enough to sustain the company, it will go bankrupt and die. So my advice is to hold the altcoins in the top 20 of coinmarketcap.
I believe in my holdings maybe some of them are just shitcoins and only miracles can lift them up It will only get worst if Bitcoin will continue to plunge. As much as I want to sell it but they only worth a penny, so the best thing to do is forget them for a while and focus on other things at the moment.
Before deciding what to do in red periods, it needs to be considered well. You should review the potentials and developments of your coins and you will decide which ones to continue with. Selling others without potential is the most logical solution.

And it makes no sense not to sell, or even reinvest in order to retain again. You just need to calm down and leave the market, sometimes inaction is more useful than stupid and hasty. now we are on deep red period. some portfolios may drive in to 70% loss. but do not sell please hodl.

Mass sales drop the market even further. That's absolute truth but actually many many projects are dead so there is no perspectives that most of tokens will grow...why do not sell in such conditions?
This is my worst year in crypto. Seeing the value of my portfolio having more the -50% is my first time but it taught me that at the time like this we need to do is keep holding no matter what happen.
