U.N. Climate Chief: We're 'Intentionally' Transforming The World Economy
The United Nation’s top climate change official Christiana Figueres announced this week that the group is actively working to “intentionally transform” the world’s economic development model, a task she called the “most difficult” one the group has ever undertaken.
“This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history,” UNFCCC Executive Secretary Figueres stated at a press conference in Brussels Tuesday.
The “intentional” reordering of the global economy, she told reporters, “will not happen overnight” due to the “depth of the transformation”:
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution.

I thought it was a joke vid to poke fun at the 10-10 project (which I'd never heard of and thought was possibly fictional and a jab at McKribbin's 350.org.) As such, I thought it could be more effective and funny. As it was, it seemed kind of long and tedious with the same basic thing happening several times. Ya, the antagonists in the vid were homicidal totalitarians from various walks of life, but it shouldn't have taken 4 minutes of my time to make this point.
Only when started reading the Youtube comments did it start to dawn on me that this was actually created by and for the benefit of a 10-10 project!?! WTF? I'm still not sure that I believe this. I mean, ya, society seems to be being sculpted into a into a masterpiece containing a fair percentage of sick motherfuckers somehow, but really? I suppose I should get a TV for the first time in my life just to help deduce how this transformation is being accomplished.

It makes perfect sense, then, that the stops are pulled out to get this thing cranking along. They key is to appeal to a broad swath of entities.
- The Socialists get to at least fool themselves into thinking that this is the path to 'social justice'.
- The environmentalists get to fool themselves into thinking this is the way to get rid Gaia's blight of humans.
- The energy companies will just pass the costs on since people need energy no matter what the costs.
- The governments get to create a giant bureaucracy, and what department head doesn't want more minions?
- The contractors have business force-funneled there way through the regulatory process.
- The financial institutions get to create more money to take interest on since the loans are more abundant and amounts bigger.
- The 'scientists' have a clear career path by producing the 'correct' results.
I've been screwing around with Bitcoin for a while and have dodged a lot of bullets. Why? I have a good nose for scams. This whole 'catastrophic anthropogenic global climate change' (the current favored permutation since 'warming' is not working well lately) is a scam of titanic proportions. I am convinced of that after studying it for half a year or so.
I'm sure the climate is changing and always has. I don't doubt that humans have at least a bit to do with it. I think it unlikely that it will result in any significant 'catastrophe'. Some people will be impacted more than others, but compared to the catastrophe of allowing the banksters and the minions of miscreants to win and the scientists destroy science I suspect that more people will be better off if the whole scammy climate change scare would just die.
