If so, check out this poster. This is also the work of a chatbot, and I think no one will have any doubts. I reported his posts, but he was left Unhandled, despite the fact that several other similar posts were safely deleted.
Should we report users whose posts clearly look like the work of a chat machine?

Yes, please do, though obviously they will need a little more verification so might not get handled straight away. It's probably going to get out of hand fast with these issues now. Personally I think it might be wise to look into disabling sigs on all new users/lower ranks until people have earned the right to have one through acquiring a large amount of merit.

I think that the moderators will have a hard time deciding on a perma ban in case of suspicion that it is a post that was written with the help of AI. of course, except in cases where the user actually admits (unknowingly) that his post was actually written by AI.
If mods gonna wait for someone to slip and unknowingly admits to using the bot like in the case from yesterday, then things will soon get out of hands we might gonna get swarmed by these farmers. While it may be hard in some cases to notice chatbot users (e.g. older member that is native English speaker) in some cases its pretty obvious and imho admins shouldn't be so hesitant.

Just take for example that user lovesmayfamilis reported and difference in posts written on the same day, just 1 hour apart. I think that its pretty obvious what is going on here.

people should also consider that using their ERC20 compatible addresses on a new EVM-like chain, they always might have the risk for replay attacks, considering the private key is same on both chains, so if you have ethereum for example and you use same address on another new evm fork chain, you have the risk the recipient of a transaction in this chain, to also replay and steal your ETH on parent chain!

Bitcoin, the world’s first cryptocurrency, has been subject to numerous controversies and criticisms since its inception. One of the most common accusations levied against it is that it is a Ponzi scheme. While some people may believe this to be true, it is important to understand that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment scheme that pays returns to earlier investors using the capital of newer investors, rather than from profits generated by legitimate business activities. The scheme relies on the continuous recruitment of new investors to keep the payouts coming. Eventually, the scheme collapses when new investors are no longer attracted, and the earlier investors lose their money.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a decentralized digital currency that operates on a peer-to-peer network. It does not rely on the recruitment of new investors to generate returns. Instead, the value of Bitcoin is determined by the supply and demand of the market. The price fluctuates based on a number of factors, including market sentiment, economic news, and geopolitical events.

While Bitcoin itself is not a Ponzi scheme, bad actors have used it to perpetrate Ponzi schemes and other forms of investment fraud. These scams often promise high returns in a short amount of time and require individuals to invest their Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. The returns are paid out to earlier investors using the capital of newer investors, much like a traditional Ponzi scheme.

These scams are usually disguised as legitimate investment opportunities, such as mining operations, trading bots, or cryptocurrency exchanges. They often rely on slick marketing materials and persuasive sales tactics to lure in unsuspecting victims.

It is important for individuals to exercise caution and do their due diligence before investing in any scheme, whether it involves Bitcoin or not. This includes researching the company, its founders, and its business model. It is also important to understand that high returns with little risk are usually too good to be true.

In conclusion, while Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme, it has been used as a tool by bad actors to perpetrate investment fraud. It is important for individuals to be aware of the risks involved in investing in any scheme and to exercise caution when considering any investment opportunity. By doing so, they can protect themselves from falling victim to Ponzi schemes and other forms of investment fraud.

For now, I have chosen a different approach in the sense that if I suspect such a post, I warn others not to participate in such discussions. I'm not sure how good or bad that approach is, but something must be done against those AI bots.
Since a lot of members see new topic only as a place to dump their posts without regard of quality, somehow I doubt that many will listen to you and avoid engaging in topics started by chatbots. For now, I am leaving neutral tag to all those that I think are using chatbots. I doubt that will help but as you said, something has to be done.

The gap between technology and affordability prohibits farmers from maximizing land usage, a key contributor to world hunger.

Original:
To put it in perspective, almost one-third of the world’s population are smallholder farmers working on farms smaller than five hectares. Currently, these farms struggle to produce enough food to feed the residents living on that plot. Comparatively, in G20 nations, farmers often have access to modern technologies that allow them to operate their farms as a commercial enterprise, producing enough food for the family who resides on the plot and hundreds of other people. The result is a massive gap in land utilization.

Original:
To overcome this challenge, there is a need to initiate a new age of data-driven farming that allows farmers to leverage the power of technology to collect, analyze and use data to make informed decisions, but at a cost that is attainable by smallholder farms. By incorporating data-driven insights into farming practices, smallholder and family farmers can enhance their crop yields, increase their income and contribute to global food security.

While checking Beginners & Help section I stumbled upon a post that looked like its been copied from somewhere or used one of those chatbots. Since I coulnd't find the original source of that post I decided to check that member's post history and it looks like he is indeed using chatbot since he forgot to delete that first part where its revealed that bot wrote his post. I would have advised you to choose Electrum, but since you have already been given the link to a thread that lists various wallets, you are free to make your own decision. However, whatever wallet you choose, make sure it is open source. No matter how cool it may look, you should never choose a closed source wallet. Instead, focus on the security that the wallet provides for your coins. After saying that, I wish you luck in your trading endeavors.

For educational purposes, it might be acceptable to explain trading to the kids so they will at least understand how their father earns some additional cash, but if they do not have the motivation to engage in real trading, this may be a pointless exercise. The majority of the time, a trader needs to lose some money in order to be serious, and in the case of youngsters, you may be the one to replenish the account when it is blown out, which may prevent them from being serious and committed to learning. I won't focus on legality because if certain websites have KYC age limitations, you can't do much about it, but teaching isn't terrible so
https://loyce.club/archive/posts/6189/61893148.html

paraphrasing from post:

For knowledge sake maybe it is okay to teach the children what trading is at least they can know how daddy makes some extra money but for real trading, this may be an exercise in futility if the child have not shown the zeal to trade because trading is not easy. Most times it takes a trader some lost amount to be serious and in the case of children, you may be the one to refill the account when it is blown out so the seriousness and commitment to learn may not be there. I won't emphasize on legality because if some sites have placed some restrictions there regarding age by KYC then you can't do anything about that but to teach isn't bad so that the child understand financial freedom on early stage.

Act wisely and invest responsibly because All traders, including seasoned pros, make these errors, for which they ultimately pay a price. The primary prototype that a trader should control is greed. Beginners and traders succumb to greed and overtrade, which leads to blunders. I am aware that keeping is occasionally preferable, which is why they always recommend trading within your means. If you go over budget and trade with your savings, you may be obliged to sell the coins at key moments when keeping them could have been a better choice.

I'm not aware of any openAI specifically designed for trading. I've come across bots that simply assist you in carrying out your transactions automatically by putting them up beforehand, but they won't carry out the entire trading process, such as making judgments automatically if the market suddenly collapsed. I conceive of these AIs as being similar to guides, but they are unable to forecast the market, offer insightful analysis that is based only on data, and express opinions about trading on the extremely unpredictable cryptocurrency world.

paraphrasing from post:

I don't know that there's an openAI that's dedicated to trading. I've known bots that will just help you to do your trades automatically by setting it first but it won't be the one that's going to do the whole thing of trading like giving decisions automatically if the market suddenly fell.
I believe that these AIs are just like guides but they can't predict the market and they can give some good thoughts of analysis but they're all based on facts and they can't really say what they think about trading on a highly volatile crypto market.

Yes, there are no issues when kids are learning to trade, but it would be wise to let him wait few more years till he is a full adult before engaging in actual trading. Don't let it backfire on yourself because if he trades now, the risk is larger and he is still reliant on the money his parents gave him. He needs to comprehend the fundamentals of trading. In order to use his money wisely in the future, he must also have a prior understanding of how it feels to generate money.
https://loyce.club/archive/posts/6189/61896125.html

paraphrasing from post:

Actually there is no problem when they learn to trade, but to jump right into trading practice it would be better to wait 3 or 4 years first. The reason is that if he trades now, then the risk is higher, he is definitely still relying on the money given to him by his parents, so don't let it backfire on himself. He must understand what trading itself is all about. He also has to know in advance how it feels to make money so that what he does later will be careful with the money he has. In conclusion, wait 3 or 4 years, even longer after he really understands. Because this is not a game played by children.

There is a 1% increase in the Russia-Ukraine war leads to a 0.2% reduction in Bitcoin trading volume. The findings also indicate that the impact is more pronounced during the post-invasion period, especially after one week of the invasion. Co-movements between War attention and cryptocurrencies. War attention negatively (positively) affects all cryptocurrencies in the short term. Results consistent with cryptocurrency investors responding to War attention by seeking liquidity.

Conflict or war is always beneficial to the countries or government that sent themselves out to surpress the other lesser countries.
Economic Gain
Often wars are caused by one country's wish to take control of another country's wealth. Whatever the other reasons for a war may be, there is very often an economic motive underlying most conflicts.
Territorial Gain
A country might decide that it needs more land, either for living space, agricultural use, or other purposes. Territory can also be used as “buffer zones” between two hostile enemies.

Religion
Religious conflicts often have very deep roots. They can lie dormant for decades, only to re-emerge in a flash at a later date.

Religious wars can often be tied to other reasons for conflict, such as nationalism or revenge for a perceived historical slight in the past.

Older people are notoriously a lot more risk-averse, and with exposure to this kind of material, they’ll probably be pretty easily influenced and put off using crypto altogether. Similarly, given that older generations often place more trust in traditional financial institutions that’ve been using for years, they’re likely to be more sceptical of any alternative financial institutions, currencies or forms of investments.

Our research clearly shows some of their major concerns; namely volatility, safety, cost, and a lack of knowledge on how to use it. Seemingly, older age groups tended to have more issues surrounding security

Topic: Mining and outlet of cryptocurrency a thread to the natural domain

Since mid-2020, when we see a renewed increase in the popularity of cryptocurrencies as a source of easy profit, avoiding transaction costs and escaping from fiat money inflation, the energy costs associated with "mining" Bitcoin were revealed in the media. Energy experts began to carefully assess the functioning of the cryptocurrency market in terms of electricity consumption in relation to the amount of electricity consumed by the economy. It turned out that bitcoin mining costs annually at least as much electricity as a medium-sized country like Finland consumes. If Bitcoin were a country, it would rank in the top 30 worldwide for energy use. I enclose the research results in charts and links to the publication. Meanwhile, in 2021 we are witnessing the emergence of an energy crisis all over the world and an incredible increase in the prices of natural gas and crude oil as a result of climate disturbances, disruptions in the supply chain and broken cooperative ties between international companies.
Question (1) Therefore, what are the prospects for such a phenomenon as cryptocurrencies or other energy-intensive technologies, the use of which is completely against the policy of reducing greenhouse gases and switching to renewable energy on a global scale?
Question (2) Is the true thesis that the growth rate of the BTC market price to USD is comparable to the growth rate of electricity consumption by cryptocurrency miners?

Cheers
Pizzy

most of the text comes from several articles from researchgate.net

https://www.researchgate.net/post/Is_mining_and_trading_of_cryptocurrencies_a_threat_to_the_natural_environment_and_will_lead_to_an_energy_crash_in_the_global_economy

edit: continues in the same direction

post:

The nature of cryptocurrency mining requires electricity, and often a significant amount. Accessing cheaper electricity is one of the most effective ways to reduce the cost of virtual mining. As we are coming from the perspective of power generation technology, the simple assumption that crypto mining requires electricity tells us that the cheaper electricity we can provide, the cheaper we can make mining for our customers.
I think you focused on the specific power needs of virtual mining

I noticed Newbie Stephanpomp Banned! when he made this irrelevant post:
Nowadays, most important nations use cryptocurrency...
A quick fix like using cryptoassets as national currencies may entice some nations. Many are safe, simple to use, and reasonably priced. But in our opinion, risks and expenses typically outweigh any possible advantages.

Cryptoassets, such as Bitcoin, pose significant risks to macro-financial stability, financial integrity, financial regulation, and the ecosystem as national currencies. It is important to not ignore the benefits of their underlying technologies, which could lead to more affordable and inclusive banking services. To provide these services while maintaining stability, efficiency, equality, and environmental sustainability, governments must step up and use new digital forms of money. Making cryptoassets into a national currency is a bad quick cut.

Paper options will slowly become a thing of the past. Cryptocurrency is considered more secure than credit and debit card payments. This is due to cryptocurrencies do not need third-party verification. When you pay with crypto, your data isn’t stored in a centralized server where data breaches commonly occur. Rather, your information is stored in your digital wallet.

Over the years, U.S. merchants have paid over $78 billion in fees related to credit and debit card processing. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, so they do not require a bank to verify every transaction. This means your business will eliminate those fees, saving 2 to 5% on each transaction.

Apart from Big businesses and corporations; financial institutions, Gaming, Hospitals, Institutes, and even governments of some countries are driving the adoption of cryptocurrencies. Major companies like Microsoft, Square, Stripe, Tesla, and PayPal started accepting Bitcoin as a payment option.

Another factor likely to contribute to the continued growth of crypto adoption is the increasing number of use cases for blockchain technology. Blockchain can securely store and share data, and the use cases are endless.

Although reputable sites like Coinbase and Paypal require users to be at least 18 years old, there are theoretically no age restrictions for trading or mining cryptocurrencies. But anyone, regardless of age, can harvest cryptocurrencies.

And as always, it's a good idea to make sure you understand what you're investing in. If you're not ready to put a large amount of money at risk, you can start small and still get a good grasp for how the process works. Many crypto exchanges have minimum purchases of $10 or less.

To buy Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, you'll need a crypto exchange where buyers and sellers meet to exchange dollars for coins. There are scores of exchanges out there, but as a beginner, you'll want to opt for one that balances ease of use with low fees and high security

The price of bitcoin is up roughly 50 per cent since the start of the year, despite the US government signalling a tougher regulatory stance on cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin briefly hit $25,000 this week, having started 2023 below $16,600, taking it back to levels not seen since last August. Other cryptocurrencies have also seen a significant surge in recent days, adding more than $100 billion to the overall market. Does it mean that bitcoin price will not go up more than this again?

Over the years there has been correlation between crypto currency and stock market. This has grown now to that of chemical compounds like Gold.
Most bitcoin cryptocurrency fanatics I know argue that bitcoin is an alternative currency that is free of the central bank manipulation of standard fiat currencies. When all three major central banks were engaging in wildly dovish policy initiatives after the Great Recession a need seemed to arise for protection against currency devaluation. You might ask “isn’t that what gold is supposed to be?”
Historically, gold has been the last resort hedge against the fear of overzealous monetary policy initiatives. Bitcoin, it appears, is the same exact thing but for the digital age. Gold bugs and bitcoin fanatics can argue about which assets will do better in what levels of currency Armageddon, but several things should be agreed upon. Both assets should do better in a weak dollar low interest rate environment.
