Nice to see that there are countries accepting bitcoin as payment for restaurant bills. They know the value of bitcoin and how it affects the economy now. They were too optimistic on the flow of cryptocurrency.

in my city there are not restaurant that accept bitcoin as the payment, i dont know why, but i think in my city bitcoin is not popular than the other country and maybe pay with bitcoin in the restaurant near me is immpossible in this time. but i hope that it will happen in the next year or next 2 year again, so i can pay my meal with bitcoin and my smartphone wallet

The reason is obvious that it's either your country isn't endorsing bitcoin or those restaurant owners are not educated and they don't know that bitcoin is existing. The same goes with my country there are no seen restaurants that are starting to accept bitcoin but what's good is there are some establishments that are now accepting bitcoin. I hope that someday they will start offering meals and we can pay it through bitcoin.

There is one restaurant now accepting bitcoin here in our country a tv personality who owns a restaurant/bar here in our country.
He is new to cryptocurrency but is very interested on how blockchain works. And now he is involved into a new cryptocurrency  that has a crowd sale which is a local coin here in our country.
I wonder how that’s really going to work, a restaurant accepting Bitcoin? Doesn’t much sound like a good idea to me. If anyone wants to be spending with their Bitcoin at any stores both online and offline, it would be best to start using a Bitcoin wallet that provides a debit card like Xapo. With their debit card you can do a lot of things.

In what country are you living? Who's that person that owns a restaurant that allows people to pay them for bitcoin? Well that's a good news in your country since there are too many people longing to have some transactions for buying goods and stuffs especially food to eat. Evolution of payment system is happening and many are starting to give interest to bitcoin and other crypto's as well. This is the innovation that everyone has been waiting for.

Accepting Bitcoin also means restaurant owners are subjecting themselves to volatility risk. On this most recent plunge Bitcoin dropped some  33% in just a week. It then proceeded to rebound 23% over the next 5 days. That's some wild swings.

A restaurant owner that accepted Bitcoin one evening could wake up to find his earnings worth a big chunk less (or more) the next morning. He / she would have to be constantly converting Bitcoin to <insert local currency> to avoid volatility risk. They would find themselves becoming crypto trader... which isn't the business are in. Why do all this when they can just keep accepting cash and cards??

Not necessarily. It could be that restaurant owners are ignorant, but there are legitimate economic reasons to not accept Bitcoin. One is simply the cost of transactions. The average cost in November was around $8 USD.  So if a customer buys a $40 meal, that's 5%. Who pays for that 5%?  Does the restaurant owner eat it?  Do you bill the customer?

Okay, so even if you solve that problem, what happens when a month like December rolls around? Transaction fees have averaged $30! (See https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html).  No restaurant in their right mind would tack on $30 to their meal cost, just to accept another payment form.

well if there are restaurants that accepts bitcoin i think it will only beneficial for emergency cases like having insufficient cash after seeing their bill.
Previously in my country have accepted bitcoin to buy coffee and other catering services. I think future bitcoin will be used to pay for all other services.

Yeah its a pity that it is only US restaurants that are showing, there are restaurants all over the world now who are accepting bitcoins for payment.  there is even a gardener in N Ireland who accepts it for garden maintenance services.

Thats good if in my country accept bitcoin too because paying with bitcoin was so easy just tap of your phone you can send paybills in any restaurant banks also can do but its so hassle is you using bitcoin its easy you dont need approval because its you who can send the payment.
We haven’t experienced this much number of restaurants which have started accepting bitcoin by now but we ca really expect that there will be number of restaurants all over the world where we will be able to have food of our choice will be paying the bill in the form of crypto currency. At the very present time, it is only USA which is having few number of restaurants which are giving this facility.

i don't use bitcoin in restuarants but i believe it. bitcoin supported restuarants give very delicious food for people and people send 2 or 3 digit bitcoin.  wow it is a great marketing.
Bitcoin has nothing to do with the taste of the food, if some restaurant is offering you to pay in bitcoin that it can not be concluded that the restaurant will provide you with the healthy food in it. But the thing which must be appreciated is that the awareness of bitcoin is in the general people as well and people who are doing local businesses in the market, have also started traded in the bitcoin. Soon it will be seen in many businesses which is a good sign.
I am also hoping for the very same ting to happen in my town as well. There is no such place in my entire country where anyone out of us can find such sort of restaurant where you can enjoy your delicious food by paying the bill in the form of bitcoin.

There are few restaurants in other countries of the world but my country is lacking behind other countries. We need to wait for more time to experience this thing.

Yeah it will be very great idea to pay for restaurants using bitcoin today. so if you order something than you will have to wait for confirmation of network and price to be paid if you are going to pay for your food with bitcoin. Now in Japan bitcoin is acceptable and it is good for all bitcoin is legal in several country bitcoin is going to me use at high stage and high level so this thing will make bitcoin more valuable and more profitable.

Great! Do they haved fixed rates for food or it becomes very expensive, when Bitcoin grows?

It is a good thing but so countries in our world are  not accept bitcoin because of their economical reasong it time to take all countries accepting bitcoin for nomal use if all are done very quickly it will very useful to all people in the world
This thing is very interesting if we look towards it closely. Most of the countries which have all the facilities available to its citizen like united states and other first world countries, they have no problem with people dealing with the bitcoin but this is totally opposite in third world countries because people are not allowed to deal in any kind of crypto currency. The reason is that they have a fear that people will take the opportunity to launder the money outside the country which will be ultimate loss.
