yeah you are right, try this backup of the block chain http://grw.blockx.info/grw_blockchain_20140529.tar.gz

Thanks!

./growthcoind says:

alternatively, did you try to start the client with the -rescan switch? might help to correct your forking issue

I've just tried without luck.

are you running growthcoind from linux or OS X? if linux witch version?

I've tried in both Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and Ubuntu 13.10

Ok, try this instead:  http://grw.blockx.info/grw_bootstrap_20140529.tar.gz

Make sure to clean all your appdata folder (except your wallet.dat of course)

put in this bootstrap.dat before starting the client (if you started the client make sure to delete any blk* files in that folder.

then start your client.

With the bootstrap.dat file, your client will recreate the index and get the missing blocks from the network.

alternatively you can force the connection to good nodes by making sure to remove the peers.dat file and starting your client with the -connect=IP switch.  you try any of this page nodes running version 1.3.0.0

We have the same problem .
We've frozen  deposit/withdraw temporarily.

who knows when to restore completion allcoin GRW?

they were waiting for the OP to be updated, they are updating their client now so it shouldn't take much longer before they restore deposits Smiley

I'm having some trouble to be in the same blockchain as grw.blockx.info. I'm assuming that the explorer is in the correct blockchain.

I'm running the last github version.

I've redownloaded the blockchain at least 5 or 6 times these past two days, but I always end in a wrong fork, even if I sometimes appear as connected in http://grw.blockx.info/connected-nodes and besides having around 15-20 nodes, most of them common, but some still using 1.2.1.

Sometimes I download the blockchain from the start or sometimes I use

but it is too old as it is before the fork. I had a backup at around the same block, too early.

Usually I end at around block 501426. This last time I've used a computer in a different subnet, using a new empty wallet.dat and with the list of nodes of grw.blockx.info in my config file. I'm now on block 508152 that is some 600 blocks longer.

Does anybody knows how to connect to the right fork? Or do you have a correct blockchain after block 50200 that can be downloaded? Is there any way to avoid the connection to version 1.2.1 nodes?

Thanks

In order to make Growthcoin to be used as a real coin, I sell my Game Construction Kit (even with the game) that was used to make the Little Sara Sister 2 Commodore C64 game (selled in real disk in 2013 by Flimsoft) using the GRW currency Smiley

For the first time I will make available even the Java source code of the program (it has many months of works in it to make the construction kit an easy to use program even for the people that are not able to program).

Market is locate here: http://multi-pool.info/multi-pool/market.html

Althrow this product is a little oriented to extimator of old computer, I think that is a little step in increasing the value of this corrency.

Order will be by sending an email (all automatic in the site) and then I will reply with GRW wallet address to use for payment.

Thanks

p.s.
with the new daemon actually the pool has not get one orphan blocks anymore.

Believing that the dev is long gone and believing he'd ever return to release an update might have lost interest or has bigger projects to attend to and believe it was high time long time ago he did, yup everyone who's interested on GRW will need to update since already the network is stalled by the previous client , no mining , no sending or receiving , no confirmation of blocks , we've done some code updates to prevent negative Retargets in the future as per suggested almightyruler , he is credited for the same as well as getting mining fixed temporarily earlier and suggested and also predicted that the network will stall again if a proper update is not released as well as adopted.

New Wallet (Updated to version 1.2.1)
*Checkpoints Added
*Negative Retarget Fixed (courtesy of almightyruler)
*version Updates Posted
*Community Backed Development Announced

So all in all everyone who has GRW or is interested in the crypto , traders and everyone who has GRW on their wallets who were unable to anything before and wants to trade now will need to update.

Is it the same Growthcoin or is a new launch which honours the existing balances?

Hi, yes it's the same growthcoin, exisiting balances is still valid Smiley

Oh, good.

Will also get some stakes now Smiley

When compiling
Code:
Makefile:356: recipe for target 'GrowthCoin-Qt' failed
make: *** [GrowthCoin-Qt] Error 1
Can you published a Linux binary or tell me what is wrong?
I have this error at make time

What I did:
Code:
cd ~ && git clone git://github.com/iamunick/growthcoin && cd growthcoin && qmake-qt4 growthcoin-qt.pro && make
(go to home folder, get the source, go to the now-created growthcoin directory, prepare for compilation, compile.

Any idea?

Colossuscoin - the future of payment methods
how to make a wallet which is simple to the new users,it should not be downloaded so many blockchains, and new uses will run it quick and should not spend so much time in downloading the blockchains.

i can not run the new wallet on my win XP。 Embarrassed

it says:error loading blkindex.dat.

you need to redownload the whole blockchain.  This new version requires a full reindex, but once is done, the client should load in about 20 seconds (and less) Smiley

So delete the blk0001.dat and blkindex.dat from your appdata folder

ok.thanks.
