Temps are good IMO and it is working stable at about 11.6 Th/s hash rate.

Temps are about 80 to 85 Celsius.

No issues so far.

It`s working fine with home internet and xiaomi mi router , but I want to place it in some place where`s no internet so i bought mobile internet router huawei e5186s-22a. The problem is that miner not connecting to internet through mobile internet router  huawei e5186s-22a. Router working fine with any other device like laptop phone or ipad. Maybe somebody know`s the issue. It needs some port forwarding or something. Sorry for English it`s not my native. Thanks.

Greetings all,

I am newly registered in this forum. Been in reddit and twitter and actively engaged in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency since last July.

If anybody is thinking of selling their used-functional ASIC miners because they want to upgrade or else, included the WhatsMiner M3 that are being discussed here, please let me know. My friend and I would like to setup a small mining farm operation. We are located in Texas, US.

I am sorry if this thread is not the correct place to post this. It would be appreciated if you can redirect me to the right thread to post this inquiry.

Thanks and regards,

I would suggest you start a want to buy (= [WTB] ) -thread in the forum marketplace.

Hey Everyone, this may sound dumb but what stops a person from just cloning the high end mining machine and just hunt down the individual parts that make up, say the antminer s9? could you build something of that caliber on your own if you have know how of hardware?, is there an existing part list of antminer s9 out there? and is it cost effective to build your own miner from scratch or just purchase one?. please bare with me for I am a noob trying to L2P. Thanks  Wink

you can source all of it  with one exception  'the asic chips'

thank you for reply,how about electricity watts per month?

Well if the consumption is roughly about 2.2kW from the wall, you can calculate it from there.

One day--> 24h*2.2kW = 52.8kWh
One month (30 days)--> 30*52.8kWh = 1584kWh

Bitcoin FTW!
I realised nobody appears to have any concerns about the temperature. Is 84 degree celsius a very normal working temperature for the chips? What will be their projected lifespan?  Please correct me as I am currently still running on S7s. Bitmain's S7 28nm chips are already failing after long usage at ~60. Although the straight forward profit calculation shows a fast turnaround for ROI. But in the long run, will the repair fees start to close up the gap and S9 will still remain as the more profitable miner.
I've run some S7s with low fan speeds with temps at ~84-85c for extended periods of time as well and they worked for a good year before I sold them. Repair fees could get pretty costly as they might ask for shipment back to China on your own dime just like Bitmain. Replacing the fans with a higher-CFM fan could also work. Just a disadvantage of a high-powered unit, gets more and more difficult to cool em.
