I've just realize this lockdown will really be a hard time for the gamblers to stop, especially with them always staying at home, they will have more time to be tempted in gambling because they don't have anything to do.
This is an opportunity but the urge to stop should come from them, anytime can be the right time to stop as long as they are willing to do so. They will need help from professionals. Less sports and platform to gamble isn't a problem, they will always find a place to gamble if they are addicted to it. It will take a long time to stop. There will be lot of temptation, lot of effort.
Some will find avenue in online gambling.
But I guess, this is a good opportunity for gamblers to assess their situation.
Are they going to stop after this crisis or go back to old habit?
It is only them that can truly answer this question.
This depends on what social status they have, if they have no problem when it comes to money, no doubt they will continue playing gambling in different way if not going to casinos, and the other one would be stopping his gambling habits and prioritize what is really needed. I bet they will spend their money on food because our stomachs are way more better when filled with food rather than to satisfy ourselves by playing gambling.
On the other hand, I agree that this current situation that we have right now could help them realize that they could really stop playing gambling and spend or save their money for something more important.
